Highly recommend this lovely country pub, staff welcoming and very friendly. Good food and a menu to suit everyone. I took advantage of the seniors meals available which was a good size serve and great value. Best of all they had a delicious, fresh salad and veggie bar to enjoy!

We enjoyed a great dinner at the Royal.
Meals were tasty and staff extremely friendly and accommodating.

Have been here several times and have always enjoyed the food. I have had everything on the menu and have not had a bad meal here. There is a salad and vegetable bar here too, included in the meal. My husband and his foster brother highly recommend the stirfry having tried the beef, chicken and prawns.

We have started making the Royal hotel in Moonta our regular for meals. The staff are friendly and helpful throughout the establishment. They have a great range on the menu and the food has always been delicious. Great value for money too. There is both a cold salad and hot vegetable bar - plus warm dinner rolls brought to the table.
Favourite dishes are fettuccine marinara and the pizzas. They do a great range of kids meals too.
There's also a seniors menu.
Do yourself a favour and pop in! You won't be disappointed.

We (five adults) had dinner at the Royal and overall had a really enjoyable evening. Our meals were delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot when they arrived at the table.
The service from all the staff was excellent. We were greeted by a very knowledgeable and attentive barman who helped us find a table and gave great advice on the wine choices.
The vegetable bain-marie was a little underwhelming, however it didn't take away from the lovely meals we all enjoyed. The stuffed chicken breast with silky mash was a standout, and the stir-fries all around the table were very well received.
Overall, a great night out with friendly service and really good food.
