This is a classic older hotel that provides exactly what one would expect from its style. While the rooms are basic, they are clean and tidy. The facilities include shared bathrooms and showers, which were well-maintained. Most importantly, at this price point, it represents very good value for money.

Attended on a nice Saturday night when he heard they had a band on. Had two beers each talking having a good time. Put $200 through the pokies, went to the bar and we were cut off drinks. Very confused we went outside and then decided to come hang out still in there not drinking. They then kicked us out the premises. We weren't overly intoxicated or displaying any antisocial behaviour. Way to ruin people's nights. I think because they had an undercover cop there they just wanted to kick some blokes out that were doing nothing but having a good time.
If you plan on coming here watch out for the fun police. No smiling no laughing. You've been warned

We booked a room at the Cornwall hotel stayed in Room 4 it was musty smell. Went to use the kettle and seen and accidentally smelled sour milk that had been sitting in the kettle for a while. The milk for our coffee and tea was off. No light above the basin mirror and so dusty.
Staff were nice. No meals served there breakfast packs were out of date. Also the amount of live pigeons that live there is out of control and the dead ones need to be removed. Showers were great.
Damn shame it could be much better than it is.

We booked one night for a city getaway. affordable prices and overall very pleasant experience. Facilities were clean.
