Great littlish pub, awesome beer and cocktail selection. My old fashioned was one of the best I've had anywhere. The burger was amazing and my wife had the dumpling tasting plate l, very good. Service with a smile and great outdoor area!

Friendly bar staff helped make our evening visit enjoyable. A couple of beers and great food - good serves of tasty, good value food. Currently (Nov 2023) in the midst of painting but don't let that put you off finding this great corner pub!

Awesome pub. Really friendly service, good choice of beers including hand pump beers and nice food. The cafe negroni was cool too.

nice little pub tucked away somewhere in between two dance radio stations that were on riley and ann streets. nice food, lots of beer maybe even too much beer.

Came here for food and drinks before a comedy gig in the area. Ordered the beef burger and the chilli dog. Both were good and the chips came out fresh, hot and crispy. Decent range of craft beer and well priced. I had a sour beer and my partner a stout. Good casual vibe. Will be back if in the area!

I wanted to believe that the Royal Albert could continue to be a favourite post sale but after yesterday's experience I am not going back. Really disappointed ?? I've been a regular at this pub and loved the friendly staff, genuine vibe and great food but the vibe is gone, I didn't finish my beer or food (the burger tasted like it was off).

Our American family of four stopped in here on Christmas Eve after a day trip to Blue Mountain National Park. The food was phenomenal, the beer was local and amazing, and the service was incredibly friendly. Five stars- great people, wonderful place!

Nice pub type atmoshphere.
Fantastic range of rare beers.
Good size meal portions
Haloumi burger was good.
Schnitzel was tough.
35 for a beer and meal is fair value.

Visited for lunch on Thursday 3rd March. I walked in off the street and was fascinated by this unique pub. The quirky interior decor and friendly happy staff make this an ideal place to have a meal and drink a few beers. I had a chilli sauce squid , which was delightful and my friend ate a brisket meat pie which was perfect. I will return. You must visit this pub !!!

One of my favourite pubs in Surry Hills. Great selection of rotating craft beer on tap. The food is is pretty good as well, typical pub food but also some dumplings available

Great staff, delicious food. So many tasty vegetarian options! I wasn't mad on the cocktail but I think that's just personal taste! Defo worth a visit if you're in Surry hills!

It was a good night, the greeting was a little snippy but other than this one staff member everyone else was fantastic. Worth a visit

i would give zero stars if i could. just went in there and were served drinks then only after they took our money told us we had to drink them in the pokies lounge as their was no where for us to sit. we wasted $20 as we had to leave. so upset. sort your covid safe policy out and keep track of who is coming in before taking our money. never returning.

Best hot dogs and beer selection in town!
I love the courtyard with a retractable roof. To top it off the staff are also amazing.

This was a great place to hangout for drinks on a quiet afternoon in the outdoor dining area! Very good selection of craft beers, exactly what I was after!! The Royal Haze IPA was really yummy - & that's comparing with many others I have had so far! Also had food menu which I didn't try - next time! Really good feel about this quaint old joint & will be back again sometime soon!
