It's always good whether you're staying in the motel or just there catching up with friends always a good atmosphere

Our stay at the Rocky Glen was excellent. Management and staff were fantastic and went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. A small problem with booking was handled swiftly by the manager and all 13 of us were extremely well looked after.
Will definitely recommend this hotel and certainly will stay again!

My husband went to lunch at the Rocky Glen. I ordered the Thai beef salad and my husband ordered the seniors' fish and chips. I would rate my meal very low. The meat was very fatty. The salad was dripping in some sort of sauce that I thought could have come from a bottle and not made in-house. The fish and chips were ok from my husbands point of view. Overall, we were very disappointed with the meals we ordered, but we will go back again and try something else on the menu

Not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit rooms very average but cleaned to the best of their ability needs renovating first stay good shower pressure second stay very poor show, aircon great ??'? I think a lot of workers go there unfortunately my parmigiana was overcooked and a little burnt but cheap to stay staff were great

Excellent location. Rooms are basic but clean. Service was great. I was able to take my meal and wine back to my room. Staff was so friendly. I will 100% stay again, breakfast is provided and is most excellent in these convenient little packs.

Beers cold . Maybe more shade in beer garden. Service was good. Raffles were a great way to spend afternoon.

6:30pm arrival.
Never got welcomed. Our table wasn't checked on until complaints were made.
Got told 1 hour wait for food. Had to wait 2 hours. Kids meal was sitting in the warmer for this time.
Excuse was because they were busy. Even though there was more then half the tables empty.
We watched people arrive after us and get their food first.

We ordered meals at 1840 TONIGHT
Received our entree 40 minutes later
It arrived not cooked so it was sent back
Still waiting for main meals even though they told us 1 hour wait
Now it is 20.06

Arrived at our check in time only to be told our room (family suite) wasn't ready, come back in 30 minutes. We did, got the key and went to unpack the car. Met by cleaning staff who were abrupt and said room still wasn't ready. Again come back in half an hour. When we finally got into the room, the carpet was wet (it had been mopped!) And parts were still wet at 10pm. The facilities in the room were old, especially the bathroom, with exposed pipes and dodgy grouting. Kitchenette only had spoons and knives, no forks. There was only one remote for two totally different TVs, both mounted high on the wall. TV in main room only had 5 channels. The internet didn't work and when this was followed up at reception, was given the staff password. This internet kept repeatedly dropping out and needed reconnecting after each page was loaded, even at 4am. While this was a room with the ability to sleep 8, for the cost of $230, it was a total rip off. Do not recommend for anyone to stay here. There was also no information book located in the room, which made the need to contact reception multiple times. External lights did not work at night, dangerous to leave upstairs without phone torch.

Went in on a Wednesday for Lunch. Ended up waiting 35mins for two Medium Rare Steaks just for them to come out cold. Chips also cold.
Staff service was good.

Decent pub only really serves the big booze brands. The owners could splash a little cash on cosmetics.. Would be great if the outside area were roofed with TV's for the footy and TAB. Couldn't get a spot to watch the races.

Had lunch there recently, wait staff were just sensational, we were recommended to have the ribs, of which we decided we would share, chef went ahead and made into 2 meals for us, with no extra charge.

Was looking forward to having an outing for once & get what used to be a yummy grilled fish chips & salad. But neither of us got what we ordered. My grilled fish came out with some horrid sauce/gravy thing & cooked prawns on it. I told the lady that's not what I ordered & she said it's just how it comes. (Too bad if I was allergic to prawns!) The 2nd meal was ment to be parmy chips & gravy. Instead came out with a burn't cheesy crust on the parmy, salad and no gravy. Only ate it because we were starving hungry. The RG has gone down hill, not impressed.

Great place to have a meal. The kitchen staff/ chefs/ cooks do a fantastic job and have never failed to please! Wait staff pleasant and friendly. Prices good. Wait time for a meal is minimal. You can't get better than here.

Had rissoles today and was served cold . Straight out of fridge with second hand Chips an no Vegeies. Sent back an was Returned Microwaved and Overheated.still no Vegeies

Still one of the best budget friendly lunches in town to get a nice honest feed without selling a kidney. get in early to beat the rush from 12 on it can get noisy inside on a hot day, but under the patio is the go on a nice day. Family friendly dinning, easy parking and haven't had any issue with the helpful staff over many years dining for lunch here.

Always a blast at RG's! Staff always make us feel really welcome and help us have a great gig.. can't wait to come back soon!

We had 2 seafood platters and lamb cutlets on greek salad - absolutely delicious! The seafood was top notch and lamb perfect. Will definitely be back ! And thankyou Laura for looking after us so well.

Chef's special in their bistro "Bangers and Mash" was amazing. Staff were lovely and very friendly and food came out really quick. And to top it off was one of the best meals I've had in town! ??'? Highly recommend you come for a meal.

Wish I could give it worse than a one star. The food was great, but the actual venue was not great.
Was here for an event, we were using the function room and many of us from out of town stayed at the rooms nearby.
To enter our rooms we needed to drive over the gutter (no driveway or road) onto a dirt car park. Went into our rooms and immediately spotted a silverfish on the pillow. We left for another hotel.
We still had to go to the function room for the event. Unfortunately, the room was only accessible via a very steep and dangerous stairway that was only wide enough for one person and had no handrails. My mother has a disability which affects her movement and walking, and was very scared and panicked about the stairs. Slowly, we made our way up them, and she was puffed out from the walk. Surely a breach of safety and accessibility rules.
The toilets in the function room were less than desirable. Two out of the three lights were broken, and the toilet door swung in and almost hit the toilet, giving you almost no room to exit (again, an accessibility issue for those with mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers).
Very disappointed with the accessibility and cleanliness of the hotel.

Unfortunately the Hotel accommodation in itself is appalling. Dirty old and smelly. Not recommended at all.
The restaurant and bars on the other hand are great...
Dinner was sensational but!!!! Went back for lunch at 1pm and was told they had finished lunch service. Very disappointed in this. So we have mixed feelings about Rocky Glen.
The staff and management have always been a pleasure even when it came to our complaint of the room standards and were moved to another which wasn't much better at all.
So in saying this we won't be return for the accommodation unless it is knocked down and rebuilt....

Really good meals since the new management for the restaurant took over congratulations guy's great service and food my family is very impressed. We will be happy to come back.

A whole flounder, chips and salad for $17 was filling and a good price as a chef special.

Wow unreal helped out with qr code unlike harvey road tavern. Bar ppl where nice n enthusiastic to help or serve. Unlike manager at harvey rd. Rgs for friendly service. So no lose not going to harvey road tavern.....

Great live band. Granite Sky were just awesome. Great staff, meals not too bad. Good pokies area. Great beer garden. Top notch accommodation. Close to town. Great pub all around.

Food was really top notch! Staff were very nice! Ambience could be better and people from the gaming lounge come out every so often to smoke which wafts over the outdoor area even though it's supposed to be smoke free zone.

Had my birthday dinner there, the staff were great, the food was exquisite and the table setting was nice. The menu is well priced and has lots of options. Definitely worth the visit!! Thank you Rocky Glenn Hotel for helping make my 30th Birthday celebration great!!

We visited this place for the first time recently and when we asked some questions about meals being gluten free. We heard the chef say to the waitress ' It must not be my day today. . . .

Honestly 1 of the best meals ive had in gladstone! The staff are always so kind and welcoming! It's by far my favourite pub to dine in! The only down side was my mushroom gravy was abit runny other then that was absolutely wonderful!!

Venue was good, theyve done well renovating the games room and the hotel it looks nice and modern now. As for the new bistro, not very good. We ordered the BBQ Bourbon Pork Ribs and the Chicken Parmigiana. The Pork Ribs had a nice sauce, but the meat was bone dry and for the steep price you were lucky to call it half a rack and the sides were quite small. The Chicken Parmigiana and the sides were quite small as well, the sauce used on the Parmigiana wasnt very nice compared to all other restaurants around town. I ordered a side of gravy and even after paying the extra 3 odd dollars for a small amount of gravy, it had the consistency of water. Kids meals are now $12, which is not even worth buying for what you get.
