Great service and well priced meals with a beautiful location looking right out over the river. Lovely dog friendly undercover deck, best to book ahead though to guarantee a spot there.

This Hotel is a family favourite of ours. It's very casual but a great place to take the kids out to dinner. Food is always delicious and very reasonably priced. In summer it is great to eat sitting out on the deck at sunset.

Nice restaurant/pub overlooking the river. The river bank is known for the large lizards which you can see from the outside deck while eating along with a nice river view. Stopped by for lunch and it was not too busy. Great friendly service. The burger and steak sandwich was pretty good. The starter Turkish bread was just ok. The gravy sauces were excellent. Nice assorted craft beers on tap and a decent selection of wine and spirits. Indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking.

Decent local pub with a fairly comprehensive menu. The food was all pretty good, although the Mediterranean salad could have had more fresh ingredients - most were from an olive oil infusion (artichokes, sun dried tomatoes etc). The steak was very good though!

As an ex resident of the valley, the display of local talent was supreme. My room was very well priced with an en suite, even though I was above the bar I slept well right in the river. I'm a fan of Murwillumbah. Stay here for an experience, a taste of the local vibe. Well done Riverview. I'm coming back.

Very nice vista, clean easily accessible for all. Food was great pub food. All in the group thoroughly enjoyed their food. Reasonable prices on food and drinks. This place had something rare in hospitality these days, the team there smile and take pride in their work. We will go back.

I stop on my weekly circuit through Murwillumbah on the Harley. Gorgeous and engaging staff, with top class pub food at realistic prices in this new world! Give them a crack if you're in the neighbourhood!

Great place but the carpark has a ton of potholes that could almost swallow a car. Definitely spoils an otherwise great experience. Spending some $ on the carpark and getting rid of the cheap orange plastic mesh fence would certainly add to the appeal when customers arrive.
Presentation and customer service are important when it comes to business.

Great dining experience on the river, groups capably catered to and timely. Compliments to chef.
Alternatively, catch up with friends over a cold drink, live music or televised sporting event. Watch the fish jumping in the river or join in novel events.
Great staff members. Was impressed with barman's memory for an order of 11 diverse drinks.
Drive-thru bottle shop well stocked and convenient.
Well worth a visit.

Great view overlooking the river. Might stop in for a beer again. Food was just ok. Kids schnitty didn't have any gravy which my son loves. Partners schnitty was decent. But only chips and salad option no mash and veggies. I had pork belly special... Big piece of pork but no sauce whatsoever... Roast pork needs a sauce .

Had lunch here today and not impressed. Ordered flathead and chips, a very basic meal I know and it was only $22. The quantity was OK and the chips were OK but the fish, 3 pieces, were all an off white colour with a yellowish tinge and quite dry, obviously not fresh by a long shot. The salad was mostly lettuce, cucumber and cabbage but a portion of the lettuce was hidden underneath other salad and was a clump looking quite old, you certainly would not eat it. In hindsight I should have returned it and asked for my money back, I certainly won't be back.

This tavern has no care for safety all their baby chairs doesn't have the protective straps. When asked if they have them got shaped at and told no. We got over charged on drinks and the lady behind the bar refused to give a refund and was quite rude the drink we ordered was also flat.. not a good experience at all

One of the best Parma's I've had in a long while. Great value and a big feed. Friendly service. Not a huge variety of beer choices. Don't let the outside fool you, it is lovely inside and the view is fantastic

This is a lovely spot overlooking the river with great service and nice food. It was a full house on a Monday lunchtime however they do take bookings.

I'd go back. Food, service and lovely outlook. The carpark and street appeal leaves a lot to be desired but doesn't stop the patronage because I have been a few times for lunch and should have booked ahead.

This is a great hotel. Its just beautiful here this morning overlooking the river. The dining area and bar are excellent. I enjoyed seeing an old friend and having a sensational meal and a few beers. Our room was nice and clean very comfortable bed all facilities. Not fancy modern but clean and comfortable. Doors open onto very spacious deck and balcony overlooking the river. I could just stay and relax here all day. I am a motel manager. The room was $80 for me and my wife. Why would you pay 2-300 for a trendy room. We loved it. Thanks so much!

What a Gem ??'? of a Pub, passing through on a Sunday, meals were huge and delish sitting out the back deck looking out onto tweed River, live music great friendly staff with smiles all round.

The staff were friendly, professional, and approachable. The meals were delicious another place to try if you're in the area. Sitting on the river banks lovely place to sit and relax while having a drink or meal.

Excellent place for lunch for the 40 of us to relax, have a feed and enjoy the river view from the deck. Great friendly and smiling staff too.

I''ve visited a few times for dinner. The food has been great, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Though the decor is non-inspirational, this is counterbalanced by beautiful views across the river.

We took my MIL here for Mother's Day and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Three of us ordered the lamb roast which came with potato, pumpkin, broccoli, cauliflower, baby squash and snow peas, more than enough for two hearty men, too much for MIL. Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection. The fourth meal was whiting served with salad and chips, again a generous serve. Despite being full and having two sittings we didn't feel rushed and staff were attentive and friendly. We definitely recommend and will eat here again.

Had a family birthday dinner on the weekend for my daughter and the staff went out of their way to make sure the night was special. The meals were delicious and well priced for the fantastic location. Will definitely be back again.

Beautiful river side views. Delicious, not overpriced, meals. Staff are amazing and just a great atmosphere in general.

The location is lovely, with a great view out over the river. The staff were lovely. A good selection of drinks was also to be had.

We were disappointed with our meals though. We had 3 steaks. 2 of them were just so fatty that we just couldn't eat them. At $40 a plate, it was hard to walk away from. There was virtually no meat on them at all. The other steak was exactly as we'd expect - more meat than fat. And that one was enjoyed by the consumer.

I'd go back again as it could have been a once-off. But it was very disappointing.

Perfect deck when it's raining, undercover, watching the Tweed River roll by. Good food, friendly staff and great live music on Fridays & Saturdays. ?

Nice view, meals prices well. Ordered garlic bread as a starter and rump steak, chips and salad. The garlic bread followed the main I won't dwell on that though as it was a busy lunch service. The steak was tender, the dianne sauce was amazing. To be honest I can't fault the meal for $23. Will be back next time I'm down over the border

Old faithful chicken schnitzel did not disappoint! Had lunch here out on the deck listening to live music and the vibe was wonderful! Staff were more than accommodating and the view was pretty wonderful as well.
