Stumbled across Riverina while on an overnight drive. Kids were stoked with the free jumping pillow and outdoor playground.
Also a retro gaming console for others and a pay to play pool table.
Food was good value and came out very fast.

Stayed out the back in our caravan with 6 other vans.

Yummy dinner.

A quiet town now as it has been by passed.
Worth the stop over.
Walk to everything you need.

Stopped in on a whim for a camp out the back in our van! We were welcomed with open arms! Arrived on $15 steak night (Bargain!)

Lovely showers and toilets to use 24h! Much to our appreciation after being on the road! 100% will be stopping here again if coming through!

My second stay at The Riverina Hotel (this time with my wife). Again, a great experience. Classic Country Hotel. Food was very good. Service was outstanding. Rooms were clean, well prepared and obviously an effort was made to ensure everything was right. Perfect spot for a break in a Sydney - Melbourne - Sydney road trip. Will definitely be back. Quality meals. Well priced. Clean. Friendly staff....and "beer of the month" were Crown Larger for $5! What more could you ask for? Oh wait, could park the Tailgate Camper out back for free. That's the best.

Our family ate here tonight and highly recommend it. Great value for money - good meals at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly.
Mediterranean Pizza with gluten free base - nice thin base, couldn't tell it was gluten free. Toppings were a good combination.
Roast of the day was excellent. The veggies were the star - crisp skin roast potatoes, pumpkin and carrot and the peas/corn/cauli weren't overcooked.
Kids loved the steak and chips.

Shout out to the chef who was very friendly (Joan I think).

The only option for a Sunday evening meal in Holbrook so we were dubious. However, the reviews were very good and we were hungry enough to take the gamble. We weren't disappointed. Good range of food, reasonable prices, quick service. The homemade apple pie was great.

Not sure about the rooms as we didn't stay here. Lunch pizza was tasty as you would expect. Beers were cold. Service was very friendly. Locals were also up for a chat. Check it out. We may stay in the pub next time in Holbrook. Well worth a visit

Busy hotel on a Saturday night. Lots of patrons. Friendly holiday visa staff. Good menu selection with great prices. I highly recommend the Chook n Hook parmigiana - a chicken schnitzel topped with garlic prawns. Nice sunset from the yard behind the hotel.

Food Review: The food was fantastic. We had the fish and chips, which were cooked to perfection, and the best vegetarian pizza we have ever had. The garlic bread was also delicious and the buffalo wings were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend trying the food here.

Such a great place! So friendly and feels like a place locals go to. Great variety of food and good prices. The rump steak is amazing and we had the apple pie too. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely legends. Went here on the 2.1.23. A public holiday. The place was packed, and limited staff were excellent. Customers were being rude and the staff were great. Dealing with them, they were helpful, calm and friendly.
The food was fast and yummy. Best veal schnitzel I've had for a long time.

Huge meals on large plates. I had what was listed as lamb casserole. Two large chops cooked in a tomato base sauce that came with a side of steamed veg and a mountain of mash potatoes. Top marks for taste, and for the $14 'special' price. My wife ordered crumbed lamb chops, which was a larger serve than mine, having three chops, a relatively small side of salad, and a mountain of chips. I ate one of her chops, but it had a strange taste. My wife later said she thought the meat might have been old. That might be right, but at the time I wasn't sure if it was just a very different taste from my casseroled chops, particularly because she had lemon juice instead of gravy. Lovely outdoor setting.

Just had a toasted steak sandwich with chips and salad.
Admittedly it wasn't that expensive but the steak was so thing and over cooked. The salad was really non existent as there were a couple of bits here and there thrown in with the rest.
When I went to the kitchen hatch it was just sitting there. Nobody to say anything so I just took it and realised when I got back to my seat that it must have been there a while as it was pretty cool heat wise.
I don't usually moan as I know things don't go ok everyday but it was more like a serving from a second rate food stall at the footy

Just had Thursday $18 rump. Outstanding value, perfectly cooked, medium rare. Compliments to the chef, thanks heaps. Hands down the best rump I have ever had at a pub.

Thank you. Called to see what time meals were onto. Was told 8pm. Then was told if running late ( as we were on the road still) call up and they would put some meals thru the register for us. Arrived in plenty of time to order. The pub was very busy. So to get told that over the phone shows that good service is still out there. Food was quick and very nice. Two very happy customers.

Is there such a rating where I can put TEN gold stars? Five does not seem adequate.

Absolutely lovely hostess enquiring if it is our first visit, explaining the menu and the specials. All staff were friendly.

But the meals are exceptional ~ partner had the rump steak and he said it was definitely one of the best he has had. I had the roast beef special and that was incredible. Melt in the mouth meat and the baked vegetables were superb. Full sized and very tasty meals!

Highly recommend this hotel.

Decent quality pub feed with huge servings - you won't go hungry. Good for the price vs quality - chicken snitzels are proper chicken, not the horrible frozen stuff. Staff at the front bar are absolutely fantastic. Lots of local colour - bring back stools at the bar.

Plenty of TVs scattered around the place to watch whatever sport you want.

Nice little spot, friendly staff, great ambience with lot of different spots to sit. We sat in the outdoor area where there was live music and our toddler played in the playground nearby. Hearty food and family friendly with lots of high chairs.

Good food. More than we could eat. The friendly staff packed it up for us to eat later. We will come back on our return trip down south.

This is a fabulous Pub with great large aircon rooms. Comfy beds. Super clean shared bathroom. The kitchen is crazy good and the staff really really welcoming and friendly. As a solo female traveller it felt like dropping by a mates place for dinner HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ??

Older style rooms, but very comfortable beds and pillows! Amenities communal but very clean. Nice staff. Unbeatable for the price

The hotel had an easy QR check in and all the staff were very friendly.
A couple of caravans in our group enjoyed a free park up behind the Riverina hotel for the night with shower/toilet on site.
We and a couple of tasty meals and enjoyed some cold beers.
We visited the Holbrook Submarine which was very interesting, also dropped into the local bakery "yum".
It was a very nice breakaway on our travels and it will be recommended to others.
We'll be back.

Meals were lovely , just really big. Had three slices from a pizza, took home more than I ate . As I have suggested before it's time these places had a ladies size meal choice , at least give you the option to buy a smaller meal !!

Awesome. Huge baked pork dinner. $18 Could have bought one and divided it in 2. People friendly. Stayed out the back of the pub in caravan. Free. Just let them know you are there. Good stop.

Loved tonight's pizza. Lamb chops were great and the parma was very good. Attentive staff. Very popular w/o the locals and visitors by the number of people present on a Wednesday night.

We've just enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. The staff are friendly, the beer is cold, the kids played on the play equipment and jumping castle, the pizza had plenty of topping! We loved sitting under the shade of the trees in the beer garden. A great atmosphere for families.

This is an amazing hotel, service is always friendly and friendly locals will ensure a good night. Well worth a stop for the night with dinner.
PS: best parmigiana I have had in Australia. Also tried the salmon which was excellent. Do yourself a favour break up the trip and stop in

Great meal I had the steak sandwich I was going to have a chicken schnitzel but the truck has not rolled up but Im glad in a sense because the steak sandwich was superb.the girl behind the bar on the day was great so helpful and I was even allowed my dog out in the beer garden..

The room was good for the price. Comfortable bed. Johno that was on duty made you feel extremely welcome. Very friendly and helpful

Legitimately the worst pub meal I've ever had. Chicken Schnitzel was dry and tasteless. The veggies was 99% cauliflower and tasted like they cooked it in the toilet. Staff were nice which I feel bad for them but had to warn others how terrible the food is.
