We had Burnt offerings not only once but twice had to send both our beef schnitzels back as they were burnt and just couldnt be eaten. The poor bartender was clearly sorry. Our second schnitzel isnt any better! The crumbs taste burnt and meat very chewy. Honestly folks the table next to us ordered one too and its as brown/ black as ours. If I could post a photo I would!

Lovely little country pub, with friendly staff and great food. The chef makes good, honest delicious food. The veggie bar was stocked with delicious fresh veggies and the the cheesiest potato bake that it\'s ever been my delight to eat.
I had bangers and mash. The pork bangers were thick and tasty, the mash was thick and creamy. My friend had pizza and garlic bread, he said the pizza had more toppings than he expected and the garlic bread was fresh made.
Came back again, this time we had schnitzels, very nice, the parmigiana had super stretchy cheese. I had the beef and my friend had the chicken. Because I mentioned loving the mashed potato last visit, they gave me mashed potato on the side, it was again perfect. We cleaned our plates.
Getting here from Adelaide is a gorgeous drive.

Great country pub with a friendly vibe. Comfortable rooms, solid meals, and cold beers. Perfect stopover with genuine hospitality and a relaxed, old-school charm.
Great place

We just popped in with no booking,at 5:30 ang got a table, got busier later. The meal was great, plenty of it and a buffet of vegies to go also. I had pork spare ribs with chips/salad and hubby had a t bone to his liking with gravy/salad/chips. The lady that served us was lovely and chatty.

With limited availability on Sunday, we didn't have high expectations, but both the service and food were outstanding! The fresh all-you-can-eat salads, warm welcoming bread, perfectly seasoned cauliflower soup, sausages with mash, and the homemade chicken parmigiana with perfectly cooked chips were all amazing. Everything was fantastic, and we were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend!
