Customer Review

Great place for dinner, some of the staff could smile a bit more and their service could use a bit of refinement. I know it's regional but "you want a bread roll" or "you guys finished " could be said a bit better. Bar staff are well mannered and have exceptional service. For the food would definitely go back.

I had the beef schnitzel here last night it came out curled up and black. It was so tuff that it was inedible. It looked as if it was deep fried. Salads, were bought out left over from lunch. Left feeling hungry and ripped off.

The room was basic but comfortable.
Having the pub dining room less than 50m away was great.

We had two meals, pork belly which was not pork belly and the gar fish which was paper thin with no taste. The only reason I am not giving a one star is the bar staff were fantastic!!!

The food was good.
Very cold day and no decent seating for people with dogs. It was very warm inside and not outside.
We were sitting outside, and a couple sat down lit up and blew smoke all over my wife. Maybe some segregation of seating to cater to both smokers and non-smokers with dogs.

Great country pub in a great town. Nice and warm on a cold night. Very friendly and helpful staff and good wine list. Very good menu with realistic prices thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Will return next visit.
