staff could smile more and even pretend they like working there while on shift. Other then that its good.

We had the buffet dinner. The huge selection of food was really nice. There were different salads, savoury dishes ranging from roasts, curry, seafood, pizza, stir fry, etc, and lots of different desserts. I highly recommend this place but go hungry because the huge range needs to be tried once.

The food was great, and as a buffet, always restored with each ... buffet culinary experience.

Champagne was a nice touch on arrival

There was no draw with a raffle (lucky door) or ladies outfit of the day. There were some lovely dresses and hats that needed appreciation by the patrons.

It would have been fun for staff and patrons and memorable.

Googled for a buffet near Ipswich and found this place. First time here and was pleasantly surprised. Broad food choices from seafood large tiger prawns, a range of salads, cheese board selections, fruit platters, carvery, tasty lasagna, boneless pork ribs, pumpkin soup was delicious with bread buns and butter, roast veg, garlic mussels, garlic bread, desserts, ice cream machines. Great for families. Great price, members price around $25 per adult. A little more for non members. Great way to spend a couple hours in early afternoon Sunday. Definitely filled the gap!

I recently went for lunch. Was charged for dinner price and then when they tried to correct it, it still was wrong. We let it go. However the person then who over charged us after I said something, wouldn't serve us or clean our table, she was heard bagging us to other staff members and was rude.
For the first time most of the food was actually cold not like it normally is hot.
Desserts all hard as a rock and ice-cream watery .
Maybe new staff, not good at all.
The atmosphere was bad because of all this, not the way to enjoy lunch with someone. Unfortunately after many times attending we will not be returning for lunch again. Prices went up No notice either. But still not too bad in price. How ever we overpaid being ripped off. So disappointed. Made a complaint and no response.

The varieties of food for its price are worth it. Premises are clean and staff are approachable. The lunch cost are $26.95 and dinner cost $32.95,its really affordable price and heaps of food selections. There's also some sushi at the corner on the right side where the salads are located. I did not notice it since I'm concentrating with the main foods at the counter. The soft drink are not included on the Price but you can add it for only $4.95 for bottomless. Weekends are $3 higher than weekdays and cheaper for seniors and children. There's heaps of Parking on the premises. Highly recommend for people budget concious.

The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We were a party of 9, ranging from young kids to Adults . The Buffet had a good range of food , from pizza / chicken nuggets and chips for the kids to Roast and vegetables for the adults. There was also a very good selection of desserts. We all enjoyed our meals and came away very happy and contented. We found the price of the Buffet was great and we would really recommend this place to come and have a meal.

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening with friends and family for my birthday. As always with buffets ate too much. Enjoyed the hot food and more so the ice cream and dessert selections. Love the ice cream 🍨 but who doesn't really like the soft serve options. Staff were prompt to tidy up around you. All greeted with smiles. Couldn't taste everything so might have to return again for another meal soon. Thank you

Went and had the Buffet (Sunday evening,) the food was really good. Missed out on the roast pork & beef. The servers were empty & never replenished whilst I was there. Lots of other yummy food & the desert bar was really yummy!

On Friday, my 50th birthday party was held there. The service was second to none, the room hired was cheap and the platters were reasonably priced and really exceeded my expectations. The variety and taste was amazing. I was only expecting buffet finger foods or complimentary warmer finger food. I would never hesitate to hold a party there again

The bistro is well planned out, constant refills of the food so no dishes are empty, desserts galore.
The steak, omg the steak for thin cuts I'm so surprised at how tender and juicy they are.
The food here is just great. The service is friendly and super efficient.

We had the buffet lunch with a table booking for 1.30pm, so only had half an hour before closing at 2pm. All the hot food was luke warm which spoiled it for me. We had the salmon which was in a white sauce & was bland. Vegetables looked like they were of the frozen variety, as were the samosas & spring rolls! Roast vegetables were ok but there was hardly any left. Salads were a tad jaded. We didn't get chance to eat desert. One plus they let us dine with the pooch on the verandah.

Tonight we visited Raceview tavern which is usually very good. We booked a table for 7pm and ordered drinks and meals. Just after 730pm the female bartender spoke to us and said closing early and we needed to leave by 8pm. We hadn't received our meals and had limited time and were rushed to finish.
The music playing in the sports bar was very inappropriate also.

Came here with a friend to see how good the all you are can eat buffet was. Certainly not disappointed. Awesome amount of different foods, hot and cold available. Everything was cooked perfectly and the dessert bar and salads were excellent. Coming back tomorrow with another friend $16.95 for the lot. Are you kidding me. Fantastic value.

I was there last Friday night for the buffet. No intention of returning. Both roast meats were overcooked and tough. The crumbed calamari was overcooked and like rubber. The sushi was a horrible gluggy rice mess with almost no filling, arguably the worst sushi I have tried and was uneatable. The roast potatoes seemed almost steamed and not roasted, the vegetables with them (carrots and beans) were soft and overcooked. The seafood salad, which appeared to only have seafood extender and no 'real' seafood tasted nice. The hot salmon dish contained salmon that tasted like it had been frozen for a while and was bland. The coffee cheesecake had nice coffee flavour but was dry, as were most of the other desserts. The strawberry mousse had nice flavour and texture. I have eaten buffets in other states and countries, this is simply the worst buffet I have eaten at. I hope to God the quality is better in the other dining areas of the Tavern!

Passing through Ipswich & found random, spontaneous midweek lunch time Buffett for $24. There are cheaper prices for the pensioners & club members.
Variety of selection including hot dishes, meat, verges & pumping soup, delicious!! Deserts & ice cream options as well as fresh fruits. Plenty of seating options, easy access to car park from the road. Friendly staff & good service. Highly recommended if anyone pass pass through raceview, Ipswich.

1st time coming here we loved it, ordering online made it so easy customer service was awesome , food was great and seating arrangements were spot on outside and inside areas were nice and spacious. Definitely be coming back

We came here on a Thursday night for the buffet, hearing raving reviews.

Two adults and one 14 year old.
I joined up to the rewards club and saved $4.50 off the price of two adult, one child, and three unlimited softdrinks.

There was ample choice of variety there. From sushi, to soup, salads, and curries.

I tried most things from the selection.

I enjoyed the sushi, the curries were full of flavour, and the calamari was great as well.
Roasts were cooked beautifully.

There were no Ribs or chicken wings on offer this night, as I guess they are only on Friday and Saturday nights menu.

Great selection of sauces to accompany the foods.

The dessert selection was massive, but by that point we were absolutely stuffed.
I ended up having sticky date pudding with some soft serve.

I thoroughly look forward to returning to this venue again.

A great little place with an all you can eat buffet that has some delicious selections. Whilst it's a little pricey, if you can put the food away it's well worth it

Had a family lunch on a Sunday to celebrate my sons 21st. The food was awesome. The service was perfect. The gaming room called all the males, who all walked out with a profit. The venue was clean. It was so good my 21 year old wants to take his father for his birthday next month.

Great service. The girls at the front were very helpful and more than accommodating to want we were after. Service was fast and the staff were all friendly. The buffet was exactly what we were after a big day!

Typical pub serving all you can eat buffet. Good variety of food to choose from. Quite busy as the time went by. Not bad for a night out but not exactly cheap.

The only reason I only gave them 4 stars is because I'm a vegetarian and there really wasn't much for me to eat there, however if you eat meat there's plenty of good tucker.

Today wasn't Too bad. Not crowded as is usually is. Raceview Tavern is a very popular place for the Elderly to enjoy each other's company. The restaurant does provide Asian cuisine.I love their date pudding yum . A good selection of dishes in the hot meal section. It is a buffet style and you can eat as much as. They have a salad bar and dessert as well. Id go there again.

Went for Karoke one night had great time. People were friendly. The security stepped up the game when I was there, felt safe. Drinks were reasonable price. Toilets in excellent clean conditions.

The meals were enjoyable. The service was friendly and prompt. I will be having dinner there again

We arrived today as a party of 6 for lunch with no reservation. I myself, and my stepmother along with the the rest of our party were absolutely so very happy with the buffet. The variety of food was outstounding. The visual display was excellent with the quality and flavours of the food being of a very high standard. The cleanliness was good and the staff very friendly. Hats off to the staff and management for an excellent lunch.
