This Restaurant has an awesome menu. The vibe from the waiters is nothing short of depressing. You absolutely to not feel welcome at all. I would love to come and bring family and friends here but when we have we all walk out as depressed as the service we were given. The front bar on the other hand provides excellent service and a wonderful engagement. Ask for Pete and Dave as they are the ones keeping the Racecourse hotel alive.

Charming old style pub with excellent food, lovely beer gardens and great staff. One of my favourite places to go locally.

A meal in the bar includes much traffic entertainment outside the large windows. Today the Specials board has a Chinese new year theme. The house made duck spring rolls were amazing. Panko crumbed prawns and Beef & Guinness pie were also delicious. A friendly bar host provided great service and a chat. Highly recommended.

Excellent food. We had the ravioli, the Guinness pie and pork belly. They were all amazing. Huge serves and great prices. Our waitress was lovely, even when the place got very busy.

Disappointing Experience - Wouldn't Recommend

We chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The waitress who took our order missed part of it, and when we followed up with another waitress, we were told the kitchen was closed, so the missing food wouldn't be coming. To make matters worse, there was no apology from anyone - not the original waitress, not the second one, and not even the person at the bar when we raised the issue while paying.

Half of our group ended up leaving hungry, which is unacceptable for a restaurant experience. The lack of accountability and basic customer service was shocking. We won't be visiting again.
