I attended a VACCA Women's Christmas lunch here and the overall experience was mostly good but they denied me getting my good boxed up to take home with me. They refused all of us to take out meals home and said they do not provide a takeaway option so too bad if you ordered any meal and couldn't finish it and wanted to get your money's worth as all the meals were quite pricey and I was devastated by the response I got when I asked for a container because I could only eat 2 mouthfuls of my meal because I became unwell and I didn't want to waste my money or food!

I recently visited the Commercial hotel in Werribee and had such a lovely experience. The atmosphere was inviting, the staff were genuinely friendly, and everything just felt easy and comfortable. The food came out fresh and full of flavour, and the portions were generous ??" exactly what you hope for on a day out.

The service stood out the most: attentive without being rushed, warm without being overwhelming. It made the whole visit feel personal and enjoyable.

If you're looking for a place with great food, a relaxed vibe, and wonderful hospitality, the Commercial hotel in Werribee is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend!

Came for the Tuesday Steak Night for the first time.
for the Rump and for the Porterhouse both 250g.
Both steaks were excellent and cooked to order - medium rare. Came with chips and salad.
Great value. Definitely recommend.
Would come here more often if they had more interesting vegetarian options for my wife.

Open til early morning hours but if your not into pokies i suggest another bar as seating is nonexistent unless your at a machine, and that's basically all there is.

Coming here for nearly 20 years, staff have largely remained true to the desired service levels, very well price on food & drinks with great rotating specials. A very good local for a very long time 🍺😍??'?😍🍺
