PPH has become a community meeting place. Over the past 6 years the manager, Joel, has upgraded and transformed the pub to attract the locals in large numbers. The outdoor area is perfect for people watching and believe me there are all kinds of colourful locals to see. It's a great place to catch up with friends. Hence the 5 star rating.

I was struggling to find a toilet, so I hopped in here made the order so that I could access a clean bathroom.
Wonderful open windows, split system air conditioner and double barrelled gas heating hangs from the ceiling.
Booth seats are comfortable, bathroom all clean, there is a leaking tap in the male bathroom, anti-slip tactile steps (wonderful safety feature)

Service is pretty rubbish, don't order on the app as you'll get half a meal and then wait and wait for your drink to not arrive. Go to the bar and ask about it and get told it is coming. I think I'd still be waiting!

An iconic Kings cross Hotel. Great outdoor area. Has a rooftop. Food is delicious, atmosphere vibrant and a great slice of Sydney culture. Went for lunch and had a great time.

A lot has changed through the years around Service of alcohol and what's on offer. The poor young bar tender had a bit of difficulty understanding what I was after but that's ok, we got through it :-)

I ordered the sirloin steak which to my disappointment was chewy. Not melt in the mouth like sirloin should be. The meal was large and I enjoyed the chips and prawns that came with it. Flavour was ordinary.

Excellent location and atmosphere. Had such a great time with the live music on hand the Sunday I was there. Thank you Potts Point Hotel Kings Cross ??

Potts Point Hotel is my Local after-work drop in for drinks,
The Staff are always Friendly and Polite and after drinking there for almost a Year know my Order which I think is Great .
The Atmosphere is Fantastic, Good lighting, Laid back tunes and the Bathrooms are always Spotless.
Their Food Offering is Fantastic, Hearty Sized portions and Super Fresh and Tasty plus a Reasonable Price Point.
They also have a Rooftop bar which is Great for Social Drinks and Evening get togethers..
All in All a Great Venue well worth a Visit..

Loud, raucous, fun. I came here for a lunch and it was sooooo loud. This said I had a good time. I had a wonderful Wagu Beef burger. Lovely. Others had massive Parmis. Not a place for quiet conversation but great for loud work lunches. About 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross station.

Don't have much to say about this place as we only came here for a few beers after a concert. Not a very large selection beers, though. It was really late, so most people were shattered. The decor was inner city chic is the best way to describe it.(it appears I went to the wrong section,please see below of the list of beers available)

My boyfriend and friends and I used to come here ALL the time! It was a great price and amazing steak and seafood pasta. Would always let us swap fries for mash with the steak no hassle which is hard to come by weirdly considering it's not much of an ask which felt like a nice genuine restaurant in the cross who took care of its customers and pasta was so so so delicious. We would come every week. Now there seems to have been a kitchen/ staff change over? The staff are soooooo rude. I am always so polite and ask how their day is going and no response. They always under pour. Seem annoyed to be there and to serve anyone. The menu is different and not very good at all. It's now such a bad atmosphere which is so sad because it used to be our favourite place. Bring back the mash and the good vibes!

Hard to succinctly describe the style and clientele. Strictly speaking about the ground floor, the bar is part bistro, part sports section with TVs, part outdoor 'beer garden'. A mix of young having a few beers, cocktails and shots and older people having some of the food from the decent menu with a wine or two. Pretty much in the heart of the cross. Takes bookings.

Phenomenal food and what a value!
I had a lamb rump that was cooked perfectly with with a very interesting choice of sides. Soul food at its essence, this is cooked with love. Great service and vibe, nice music and a great selection at the bar. Well done to the management and the team, quality work always pays off. I'll be back

I'm sorry to say the food here was not good at all, beans were the worst, I usually find all good things to say but unfortunately I cannot here, drinks were unbalanced, unfortunately it was the worst pub food I've had- would NOT recommend, if you're contemplating on coming here for a feed take this as your sign to skip it and try somewhere else

Food was outstanding. I had the Waygu cheeseburger and my wife had the Beef Bourguignon pie, and both were really good. It's one of those "order at the table with this QR code" places, so service was ok, I guess.

The location is great, atmosphere too, service also great, beer tasted delicious but the Wagyu Burger myself and my friend each had for lunch was, sadly, in a word 'disgusting'. It was very oily and to make it worse it seemed that the oil was really old or off in some way. It is easily one of the worst burgers I've ever been served, which really disappoints me because I have been to Potts Point Hotel for lunch about 8 months ago and it was great, but this time there was no lunchtime crowd with only 6 diners and over 30 empty seats; a reflection of the quality of food perhaps. This place has a huge amount of potential and I genuinely hope they get their act together, again, like it used to be.

The one star is just for the chicken burger. I've been to this local many many times and had great food (the chicken salad is amazing) but today was truely horrible. I had the chicken burger which was largely soggy batter and smothered in sauce (the menu described as white BBQ sauce but which tasted like a mayo based sauce). It was 200% too much sauce. The chips weren't even worth it - tasted like they had been cooked in the fish and chip oil. The beer was great, the setting is super and the staff are friendly but this burger should be removed from the menu.

Love the vibe and the atmosphere. Came here for Comedy Untamed on Thursday night. It was a full house. Luckily we got tickets at the door but it's better to get tickets in advance. There's DJ music. The drinks were nice but my rosy cheek didn't have roasted marshmallow.

Neel and Friends Comedy Night. Great night out. Show was fantastic.
No mates Neel had less than the normal amount of friends because they all have spicy cough but nonetheless a great show.
The table service is great. Reasonable prices and a good menu. Definitely will go again.

Smooth jazz emanating from the stage, a perfectly cooked schnitty, and a crisp, cool pint in my hand. Am I in a movie? It's better than that. I'm at Potts Point Hotel. The perfect Sunday scene.

$20 steak was delicious! Good value. Service could be better though, staff seemed more interested in chatting to each other and dancing.

I went to a comedy burlesque show at this hotel with three family members. We had a drink downstairs first before heading upstairs to the show. We ordered dinner which was served during a break. The show itself was 100% entertaining with hilarious comedy and fantastic singing. Dinner was really good , steaks cooked perfectly and the atmosphere spot on. Highly recommend this venue.

Thanks to the ports point hotel you can see comedy on a Wednesday night. Good effort and thumbs up. Their chicken wings were good as well.

Good food, good and happy service from their F&B team. The serving size is generous and reasonably priced.

It is one of the places I would head to if I was in the area for tasty meal with friends.

Had the waygu burger and the chicken wings with reaper sauce. The reaper sauce was pretty spicy but it tasted great. The burger was filling and delicious

PPH to me is home base. Great outdoor patio for people watching. Excellent service. Good food at a reasonable price. I came with my partner to just sit and relax, and I wasnt disappointed.
