I read the reviews.... was hesitant to stay... But our stay was fine.. staff were polite, room was what you expect from a budget motel.... lost one star as the TV could be a little more upgraded!. Otherwise, was clean, lunch at the restaurant was nice. What more do people expect for $150 a night for 2 adults, and one child!. Will come back next time.

Went for trivia, which with host Nathan is always so entertaining. Most impressed with the food. Tasty and huge portions. We were given take away containers and brought home enough for lunch the next day.

was a great venue but the food went down hill over covid and may pick up again. good under cover area for the kids. often does trivia but they keep changing the trivia company. This is my local and has cover bands and karaoke nights. generally a busy place.

Avoid this place at all costs. The food quality is not the best although it's the lack of customer service is what it makes it terrible. The waiters all seem like they don't want to be there and when you ask for extras such as sauce get told to read the signs.
I also witnessed a couple next to us complain about their meat lasagna not having any meat and when they did share that with the waiters, all they did was say "sorry you didn't like". No effort was taken to rectify their complaint and they completely brushed it off. The couple got up and left immediately which is poor customer service.
Do not go here, the food and service is complete trash.

Celebrated my daughters baptism here yesterday! Kim & Chef's hosted amazingly. Outdoor Venue was great and food was delicious??'??
1 less star because we were initially told the food will come out altogether but it actually came one by one over an hour frame which had our guests getting up every time a new dish was brought out instead of all the food laid out and guest only needing to get up once or twice.. other than that will still book here again :)

Arrived at 7 went to reception I had booked a room for 4 a few weeks prior to find out they had no room for us I had two kids needing a shower and bed . After a heated discussion with reception he found us a room . We went to bistro my meal was horrible took it straight back they gave me a bowl of chips we got two hamburgers pink burgers couldn't eat them would not recommend this place ever

Today we celebrated a christening at Plumpton Hotel - Kim & the staff were absolutely fantastic. The location & the service great. Would highly recommend this location for your next function! Perfect for kids!

Held our sons 21st at the hotel, all the staff were so accommodating and helpful. The staff had setup all the tables, we just had to the decorating. The food that we had organised was well timed and excellent quality. This made our evening stress free and enjoyable.

Not happy with the service for the motel, l booked a Triple room for my Daughter in Law and Granddaughter for the night. I ended up with a queen room, when we went to reception to query it we were told there was nothing they could do about it we were told that we should have rang them, why do you have to ring when you book online. I feel that if l wanted a queen room l would have booked it. I wanted separate beds for my Granddaughter as she has two babies at home and I wanted her to have a good
night sleep, which obviously didn't happen. The sink tap dripped all night. The receptionist was quite rude. Definitely wouldn't recommend it for anyone.

Bar and bistro looked fine, beers were fresh/cold/cheap.
I counted 10 cockroaches in my room and even saw a few scuttling around the bistro floor... Place has an insect issue for sure.

Always great food, very generous portion sizes. My wife loves this place for its Schnitzels alone. Kids keep themselves occupied with colouring in, puzzles or in the play area.
Note: Did not use the rooms but was not going to 1 star them for that.

A nice small pub with friendly staff, not crowded, also family friendly with a little playground

New dining area is nice. Just teach the chef to cook a nice steak. Well done doesn't have to resemble a piece of wood!

If your wife drags you through IKEA this is the closest place to recover. Has a nice looking beer garden and bistro area. Staff were friendly.

Food was great, it was a bit hot out where the band was, need to aerate it a bit more.

The steak was really low grade and at $40, it really was not good enough, it was cooked as requested (medium rare) but I want a quality cut for that price. Let's put it this way, if this steak was $20, it would probably be the right price, but I wouldn't buy it anyway, I want the $40 steak.

Over an hour wait for our food and when it arrived sides were missing and some cold. Usually much better here. Maybe now short staffed.

Food is reasonably good for the price, although there's always only a small serving of chips on the plate but the reason why I've chosen to write a review is because I have been here numerous times and each occasion the lady on the till in the bistro is quite rude and blunt. I think I overheard her name was 'Kim'. Management needs to tell Kim to talk in a more polite manner to customers and at-least try and crack a smile once in a while, if she is unable to do that she shouldn't be working in a customer service role.

Great staff at the bistro and the new menu has a great variety. Will be back!

12 lunch meals ordered on Motheres Day. Place was quite busy but we were served fast and all meals were ready within 25 minutes. Happy with the service.

Because i was there on Thursday for lunch it took 20mins even though the place was empty when the food came even though I paid 50for the tbone my partner orded fish and got fish coctails wich cost 21 go to a takeaway

Nice pub, trivia is loads of fun and there's excellent facilities for people with disabilities

I have been going here for years and seen the restaurant go through different cooks and menus.

The food tonight was fresh, quick and tasty however the size of the full priced schnitzel and steak seems much smaller than a while ago.
Previously a chicken schnitzel was large but tonights was only small, say the size of what you used to get on a schnitzel special night!

Great meal no rush to get us out it was relaxing

Staff were great. Very accommodating. The hotel was cool, and the food was great.

Had lunch there. Food was nicely presented and tasted good. Was good for a family birthday.

Id like to suggest that they update their wine list as it hasnt changed for over 4 years.Also the food Choice is average are the portion sizes.This could be a great venue as its quiet and a very nice layout, but the food and wine choices are very limited.
