It's not too bad of a place. The food is good but overpriced for the portions and what it actually is. I prefer the overlander. Good food and good prices there.

The young waitress was really nice. Older lady's behind the bar were just rude and the food was average at best. For the same money you can get 3x a better meal elsewhere

My family has been coming here for years but unfortunately it has gone down hill. Service is very rude, our server had an attitude while my father was trying to make conversation about how the prices went up and that we come here just for the lunch specials on the weekend but now its gone, and the server goes "not my problem." and does not care to at least to try to be nice.

Don't come here unless you want poor customer service and average over priced food.

My family were celebrating my son's partners birthday today all 10 of us it's been a while since I've been back to the Pio I must say but the staff were great as well as the chefs (kitchen) the food was very reasonable and well priced the curry pie and salad and wedges which I had was sensational we had quite a few ales and we were really looked after even the other patrons I noticed were very satisfied will definitely be back soon thanks for a great day nothing was a hassle we even had taken our own cake and it was just not a hassle to supply plates and cutlery for us once again very satisfied thank you so much. They even had a great Vegan meal for my daughter.???'???'??

Was the best chicken schnitzel I have had in a long time. Fantastic

Food is excellent with a generous serve. The only issue was it was a bit cool inside. Steak cooked perfectly and the chicken snitty was moist. Chips were crispy and fluffy inside.

Me and my friend are regulars at the venue, the staff all like us etc. we've never caused any harm and what not but the security guard Jason came up to us and was trying to give us his number etc: and because we never texted him or got with him he's literally refused us entry the past 3-4 times when we've been SOBER . Went there last night perfectly fine , he wasn't at the door or nowhere to be seen, then randomly sat across from us for maybe 20 mins starring at us then all of a sudden we were "too intoxicated " and had to get out .
We weren't being loud, we were literally just sitting there on our phones minding our own business .
Your security is a creep , last time we went he ignored us because he was too busy flirting with some lady out the front.

First time in the area, the outside was very inviting. Decided to pop in and did not regret it. The food was amazing great pub style meals, proportion was the right size. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The venue was very clean and family oriented , I would ??'? recommend this venue to anyone wanting a great pub size meal with great service. See you guys soon on our next drive though.??'??

Used to be a great place for a schnitzel but after a recent visit I'm not so sure. On a quiet Tuesday evening we waited 50 minutes for our food. Too slow. Chips were barely warm. Schnitzel greasy. Probably won't be in a hurry to go back.

Schnitzels for days. If you need some fun crazy schnitzels this is the place to go. With a topping it comes to around 30 dollars a meal so its more expensive than the local. To match the pricing there's almost 30 toppings to choose from!

Had a family reunion here back in march the staff were fantastic food was fabulous loved it all

The staff are spectacular! Management highly professional, and the food is diverse & divine! Not to mention the drinks being awesome - but that might just be the drinks in-general talking, ahaha. All up, it's a great place to gather around, have a laugh and socialise with friends, family or both!

Went here a couple of times for a feed and a quiet drink with a local friend. Open areas, reasonably modern. Quiet, sociable atmosphere, no dramas. Steaks were cooked just the way we ordered, very tasty. Other meals looked good. Friendly, fun staff, except for one security guard. No need to be rude to people who are being polite to you and saying hello.
Bigger screens and bar out back. A UFC sports pub so all the fights are on the big screens. Plenty of screens showing all sorts of sports and racing. TAB area out back to the side. Restaurant area & gaming room which seems to be open late at night. Lots of parking, family friendly restaurant area

This place is an old favourite; always great service with delicious food. Never too crowded or a long wait.
Clean, family friendly, excellent value for money and the best schnitzels in the West!!

Very quick service with a large range of chicken schnitzel meals available in different sizes as well as the normal pub meals. Very nice and big meal.

The adult food was fantastic some of the best ribs I've had in a while. The chicken parmigiana was really good to. The kids food was ok but super cheap so I'm not complaining.

One of the friendliest bar and grill place out in Sydney's West.

The staff are friendly. They greeted us and even offered to take our group photos so that everyone is included in the shot. Not part of their duty and yet they go above and beyond for their patrons.

Food are generously portioned and delicious.

I visited the Pioneer for dinner with some friends this week, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were super friendly.
We will definitely be going back on a regular basis.

Treated completely disrespect with arrogant stuff!Good place but poor customer service.The lady behind counter was so aggressive and when l left my phone on table, while my friends where still there sitting around the same table...she grabbed my phone and put it behind the counter instead of asking my friends who is the phone for, so later we thought that l lost my phone and l ended up searching few mins for it...she didn't make any apology for that!Also her tune in each conversation wasn't friendly at all and we saw she was the same with the other customers.I've ordered steak with mash potato and extra veggie and she forgot the veggie and again no apology for that

The staff there were very friendly, I really enjoyed their selection of Schnitzel toppings, and the way they were set out on the menu. The food was alright, a little crisp, but still tasted good. I wish that there was a drinks menu readily available to couple with the food menu, instead of having to circle the bar to find what is available. However, the staff were very helpful in showing what was on offer.I recommend the Pioneer Tavern.
