We stayed overnight in an ensuite room. The room was smallish but very clean and comfortable . We had a good meal at reasonable prices. The service we experienced was very good. We also enjoyed having a couple of drinks on the upstairs verandah which was very quiet.

A very nice hote, great service and friendly staff,,very clean rooms and shared bathrooms, aircon rooms , which were wonderful after a hot day in Tamworth. the breakfast was always delicious, home made sourdough ?, fully cooked breakfast and also cereal. I would deffently stay there again.

A good looking place, hotel bars with food available (a bit pricey for most meals) we had meat pies which were very hot but tasty. Has a dining room inside but a good row of tables and chairs on the two (corner) verandahs, with shade

Excellent burgers! Luckily we arrived at the start of the lunch service so we could order the burger options for lunch. I got the impression that options were a bit more limited later on but everything on the menu looks delish! You won't be disappointed

Very friendly staff , service was great , locals are really friendly, quick with a horse tip and a joke. Meals were nice , nightly specials in the restaurant. We were visiting family , will definitely be ack next time we are in town. Very relaxing.

We stayed here again just a few nights ago and it was every bit as good as we remembered from a previous stay some years ago. Very comfortable room, wonderful verandah to watch the sunset, great food and efficient and friendly staff. A lovely place to stay in the beautiful little village of Nundle.

Welcoming staff, clean, comfortable rooms, (and bathrooms). We had an ensuite with our room, but the shared bathrooms looked better, if possible. Spotless, large and several of them
The bar, and bar service is terrific, with a great wine list, almost if not all wines by the glass.
The food was very good, and the classic country breakfast (free with your booking) is a standout.
We'll definitely be returning.

Cant fault it. Fantastic staff to start with. Our online booking and a special request was handled very well , room was better than expected for the price and the bathrooms were great. The free breakfast was WAY better than expected also. Yep , about as perfect as it gets . Really great experience.

I loved the old character off the hotel, and welcoming staff.
I also appreciated the very clean kitchen and bathrooms, as it was a shared facility.
Breakfast was delicious with more than friendly service.
I would go there again, probably try for an ensuite room - none available on this trip.

This Place is a must beautiful rooms, amazing staff that look after you. The bar/restaurant that's just down the stairs from all the rooms is amazing all sorts of beverages and the food is bloody Incredible and reasonably priced. Owner is amazing everything is amazing at this place and rooms are reasonably priced as well can't get any better !!

It was Friday night & busy but service was great - especially the lady running the restaurant. Beer/wine selection & prices were reasonable. My baked trout was excellent but my wife's Beef bourguignon was rated average.

Great little pub, fantastic food and service. Room was very warm and clean enough. Bed wasn't the best unfortunately and the major down side which is no fault of the pub is the very excessive noise until 2am right outside the rooms on the verandah (even though there is a 10pm noise curfew). Wonderful beer garden and complimentary bacon and eggs for brekky was delicious!

We've just had an excellent overnight stay at Peel Inn Hotel (should've made it 2 nights).
It's a gold rush pub, renovated but retains it's historic charm.
Room was comfortable, spacious and spilled out onto a huge deck with heaps of seating to enjoy the winter sunshine.
Top meal in the Bistro: a huge bowl of chicken wings followed by the famous "Pie Floater" and Lamb chops - awesome!
Everyone was friendly and the service was good - we'll be back!

Good old country hospitality and service. Have been coming to Nundle since I was a kid and love coming back into my 50's. Have stayed a couple of times at the Hotel & love the step back in time and great friendly service. Food is also great, try the local trout.

Great atmosphere with wood chopping competition plus music a bit later. Meal was tasty, & very comfortable room. Well done guys. We'll stay again.

We loved our meals at the Peel Inn. Highly recommend the schnitzel and burgers. Great atmosphere and service.

Beautiful old pub with comfortable rooms and super friendly staff. The beer garden is amazing with a huge grape vine canopy and the food is excellent! I very much enjoyed my stay there and would highly recommend it.

Great staff and fantastic food.
My partner, 7 month old and I visited today and the staff were just so accommodating for us and so helpful. Always love coming here for lunch.
I recommend the pie floater if you're eating there :)

This venue is overdue for a visit from the health inspectors.
The last 2 times I have eaten there has resulted in food poisoning. I won't be going for the hattrick as we will not be returning.
The bar staff have consistently been rude. There was a welcoming gentleman taking food orders in the dining area but if your not a local don't expect a warm welcome at the bar.
An interesting attitude from a place that relies on the tourist $.
Is it just because you are the only dinner option in town when eating our that you think this is acceptable? It's no wonder those in the know bring their own food to town when visiting.
Drinks are also overpriced, well for visitors anyway... not sure what the locals pay ??'?

The queue formed right on 6pm so the kitchen was smashed right out of the gate. We were about 3rd in line. My partner's trout was very good and she really enjoyed it. My mixed grill was anything but enjoyable. The steak was nice, but that's it. The pork sausage was tasteless. But the big problem was the egg was cold and the bacon was even colder. I'm not talking cooked then gone cold - I am talking just out of the fridge cold. Inedible. How hard can it be to cook a mixed grill? Ok, so things happen in a busy kitchen, I can and do accept that. But I was really taken aback when I took my plate back to the counter and mentioned to the lady that the bacon was proper cold. She absolutely did not know how to handle it. All I got was a "I'll mention it to the chef". I wasn't expecting her to do anything (it was too late as I had eaten the rest), but not even an "I'm really sorry about that"? I think I was more put out by her reaction than I was by the error with the food. Hopeless and really disappointing.

Great pub. - great staff, food and beautiful beer garden (and fire in winter). Specials are delicious at the moment - we had chicken stir fry, beef rogan josh and mochi. All looked and tasted fantastic and Leanne looked after us so well, as always. Nundle is a gorgeous little town and the Peel Inn is really lovely pub.

First visit and look forward to going again. Our Server was so nice. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nundle is a little gem.

Had dinner with the family on a Saturday night. Great steak probably top quality local steak that I can't get in the metropolis. Lovely great country atmosphere and the beer was chilled just the way I like it.

Nice atmosphere, dining inside or out. Lots of choices & good prices. The Pie Floater was superb. Friends had burgers, lamb shanks & mash, & roast lamb dinner. All large portions.
Highly recommend this pub.

Food is beyond expectations, and the team here are beaming with positivity. Looks like a great place to work, but its definitely a play I love to bring my kids.
