Hi Trevor & Simone, Just wanted to say what a fabulous job John did the other night for my function. He was a good man, always polite and attentive and even though flat out with staff shortages, he took the time to take a group shot and wait for the crew to be ready. So he was patient and we loved that he took that for us so we could all be in it. Room was fabulous, food was fabulous and yes everyone made comments all night regarding food. The two vegans were very impressed too. It couldn't have gone off any better. We stayed for 7.5 hours and you don't do that if it's not going well. John thanks so much. I'm glad to hear we were an ok bunch to have around. Your hospitality made the night for us as well as venue and food. A million thank yous. Everyone still raving about it. You can't praise a person or place enough when the memories for me are forever. All the best. Also the other gentleman behind the bar was a good bloke too. Sandy

Great pub run by great people. Food is always excellent and the beer is always cold and crisp. I would recommend the PVH to anyone that's looking for a cool friendly vibe.

Our absolute favourite local pub. I couldn't recommend this place more.

This pub is why I love Alexandria, the staff and people feel like you are in a close knit community and are always welcoming to new faces! It's really nice being in an inner west pub that remembers your name and says hi when you walk by.

They were also so accomodating when I found out I was coeliac, ordering in gluten free beers and checking in with me to make sure they were the right ones. So thoughtfully and considerate! Cannot recommend this place more!

Excellent venue for a quiet catch up with friends. Friendly helpful staff. Family friendly. Great selection of beers. Outdoor dog friendly. Good selection of lunch specials. All day meals. Free wi-fi. TAB area. Steak night (free glass wine), 2-4-1 meal night, Trivia night, meat raffle night and Joker Poker. This pub has it all.

Great pub and super friendly. John the manager is a top bloke and rest of staff are fab. Dogs are allowed outside and now allowed in the orange courtyard seating area which is fab. Food does the job. Happy hour is a bargain.

So great sitting outside, underneath the awning, supping a pint on a lazy Sunday. Burgers were sublime, Sunday Roast was a bit tough, gristley, perhaps even a few more spuds wouldn't have gone astray, but the pudding was great. Overall, couldn't have been much better. ?????

Great location.
A wide variety of beers to choose.
Delicious food and daily specials that are a bargain in anyone's money.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Seats outside to enjoy the afternoon sun.

Had the toughest steak possibly in the past decade. Mentioned it to waiters, who were apologetic but did not pass on the feedback to the kitchen by the time we left. Rather unfortunate when other meals have been good. Suspect staff don't know how to deal with not so great feedback.

I went for a walk from my motel and found this joint, I was staying over near the Airport and to say I was lost would be incorrect but geographically embarrassed would be closer to the mark. The Parkview hotel is clean, with cold schooners and a very good meal, I had a Parmi with chips and salad (Stock standard) really for me. It is nice, clean with very good tunes. Check it out.

I really want to like this place as it is a local, but the staff/managers have consistently been so un friendly over the years. Which is the exact opposite you want from your local. Have been many a times, the beers are cold & the food is pretty good.

Nice pub. We were here for the steak night. The sirloin steak with a drink was $18. Unfortunately the steak was rather thin, overcooked and dry, we asked for medium and they made it well done. The steamed vegetables and potatoes were unevenly cooked with some uncooked bits. Our first time here because friends got us here don't think we will be back for the steak night. The service was good though not the food tonight.

Meet here for catch up with family on regular basis and it's always a great night. From the wait staff upstairs to the bar staff downstairs, we have found them all to be a competent and friendly bunch.

Very mediocre food and service. My partners pasta was swimming in oil. My meal was bland and not a hint of wasabi in the wasabi mayo. We were also overcharged - waitress realised the mistake but did nothing to rectify, I had to go back for a refund after double checking the bill. Also, please do something about the overwhelming smell of urine in the upstairs female toilets - yuk. Disappointing experience

Welcoming local pub. Great food. Lunch specials mon to fri, cheap drinks during evening happy hour but also, happily, drinks are cheap generally. Jug of Newtowner middle of day not on special was $20.

Great local pub. Monday steak night, Tuesday is a 2fer etc. Good food great atmosphere. Always something on. Our favourite for a good value meal or a quick drink.

A bit dull. The dining area is a little characterless. Not much indoor seating in the main bar.

A great place to stop in for a drink or a bite to eat! Kitchen is awesome and happily accomodated a menu alteration and even replaced an item I wanted to remove without me asking for a substitute. Great service.

Great local pub with delicious food and welcoming customer service. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Great variety of daily lunch specials. We ordered chicken schnitzel $15 and sirloin steak $18 , great value and delicious. Easily a 5 star if they just put some dressing and inspiration to the side salad - small room for improvement.

Lovely little local pub... pokies don't print tickets if your wanting to change machines but it's a first world problem considering the staff and relaxed local atmosphere

There is a cute, little restaurant upstairs. The menu is pretty rich, the food is absolutely delicious, prices are good, and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend

It's a nice pub/restaurant, we were invited to a friend's bday dinner here and we didn't really expect much from the food but for $15 black Angus steak was surprisingly really good. My bf ordered crispy pork belly and it was delicious, the crackling skin wasn't perfect but it's great overall. Staff seemed quite attentive and they have live music downstairs. Definitely will go return again.

A good selection of lunch time deals and all for a great price. The food quality does
vary from time to time so I can't promise it'll always taste great. In saying that, we have made some great memories here and would recommend it for a relaxed catch-up with your mates.

This is a lovely pub and from the outside it looks quiet and we thought it was quiet and private on the ground floor. It's buzzing upstairs so all of you who want a more vibrant and lively atmosphere, I suggest going upstairs. The ground floor has a smoking area which is quite spacious. We took advantage of the weekday deal and we are glad we did. The food is great. We tried the Beef Thai Salad and the crusted Barra and the food came out quite quickly

Had the Sunday roast + pudding. Great food great service. Vasse felix rose $39 a bottle. Could not fault anything. Relaxed place to eat and drink. Well done!

There are few things in life that should not be changed! They are great just the way they are! Parkview is one of them! Vintage yet modern, class yet cool! Absolute legendary service by the the gentleman serving in the morning! Wonderful classic beers and crafts!Great wine selection and the food was great! Macadamia Barramundi was soulful and wholesome!Hope this place gets back to full capacity when covid is over for they are good people!

Was great to have a beer here after 25 years! It has changed a lot but the beer was cold, served well and the food is great!
