Came to the PUB for a drink and dinner with a friend. We were confronted by screaming of the lambs. Pet sperm running every where uncontrolled by there drunk parents. I expected more from a pub. Great food but would recommend the food

The food is always top notch and the kids play area is a bonus. I do think it's strange that on Sunday they have a face painter for the kids, with UFC playing in the back ground. You spend your life telling your kids that violence is bad, but then they sit watching two people beat each other bloody while having their lunch. Not ideal.

We had our son's 4th birthday at the Bistro today. It was amazing. Daniel and his team did a great job. Beautiful service and nice food. They prepared the tables in advance with white cloths, and they helped us inflate all the balloons using their Helium tank. It was like a semi private birthday and the kids had an amazing time in their new playground. Highly recommended!

Really easy place to hang out with the kids. I do think they need a proper parent room with a feeding chair though. Also, we had to walk a fair bit to order food and leave the kids unattended as the counter is in a whole separate area to the sitting and playground area, so it's inconvenient to order.

Other then that, service was good and food was good

Have only visited the pub but thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks.
Vegan substitutions are available but would love to see some more!
Location is pretty good as well with ample parking and right next to the Panania train station.

Sure sure what it's like at other times. But Saturday at 5-6 the bistro bar is empty. You'll be waiting 10-15 minutes for someone to come. The skinny bald guy will occasionally see you looking then go and find something else to do. Food is ok.

Great kids area. Nice and safe with cameras and you can sit close by.
Good food and a great selection of beers on tap!

Had a really great meal here.... it's a great place to take the kids, kids eat for half price during the week..... awesome!!!

Standard pub grub
Good place to come with kids as there's a good play area with cameras so you can watch the kids inside. Can get busy so I would book if your wanting to be by the kids play area. We frequently come here.

Had family come up from down the coast and we went for lunch. The food was great
The parmigiana was great. The chicken salad had little too much dressing. So wall ask for it to be on the side. Everything else was great.

Jimmy is just phenomenal. He's proactive, attentive, and very sociable. Really elevates the experience and his service is consistently top notch. Staff are wonderful, venue is a modern industrial look that's perfect for the location. One more time, Jimmy is the best!! You'd be lucky to meet him, he's amazing.

First time I've visited in 8 years, still a good pub but can't not be disappointed at the changes, the nice large semi outdoor area is now a sports bar hall, a little soulless compared to what it was. And the food options can't compare to my previous visit...bring back Ribs 3 ways! Staff were still great

Nice pub food with a decent selection of specials. The quality of food varies though. Sometimes it's really nice, other times it's not good at all. It probably depends what shef they have on each day.

Terrible service.
The Apperol Spritz was all soda water. It was all I could taste. I took it back and the young lady didn't say anything. I asked her to put more Prosecco in it. She did, but it still wasn't quite right. She walked away without uttering a word. She did not want to be there, and doesn't know how to work in customer service.
I then received my salad which was meant to have goats cheese in it. No goats cheese. I returned it to the same lady who didn't say anything, returned it with goats cheese but didn't utter a word. She looked grumpy and absent. There was no "I'm sorry, let me fix that for you" type service.
Shockingly bad service and cocktails - made on the cheap.

The Panania Hotel was a very Family orientated place peace full place to relax and have a nice cold beverage of your choice. Will go again with my better half.

Save your money.

Second visit and again. Food received does not match as described in menu on top of staff getting order incorrect.

Tonight the crispy duck is not. Flabby, farrrrrrrr too much salt. Cold red wine jus which is just onion gravy anyway.

Another SW Sydney disappointment

Went to the Gril on a recommendation, what a let down. Asked for the entrees to be separate to the mains but regrettably all came together. Steak was over cooked, chips were cold on arrival as were the vegetables served with my wife's meal. Drinks were way over priced so much for supporting local business they won't see me again.

First time here and the place looked really nice. The food was good and the staff friendly.

Had a birthday party here on the weekend. Manager and staff were fantastic and very accommodating. Food was fast and very delicious. Highly recommended.

The renovations were impressive...but the the food, on the whole, was not. $32 for a piece of salmon was too much and you have to question why the only fish dish on the menu was a cutlet that was full of bones. The schnitzel was dry and overcooked. Pizza was okay. The tastiest part of our meal was the chips, which were lovely and crunchy.

Nice and friendly environment for the family. The staff was very helpful in all aspects and the food was great. Extra bonus with a kids playground so mum and dad can have a little break.

Had our first visit to the pub on Sat night. Venue and menu looked good and staff were nice. The new kids playground was epic, a bit too hard for young toddlers though.
Our food however was a massive let down, particularly after the price paid. Pork belly came completely uncrisp, with just soggy pieces of fat. Steak appeared cooked medium but was super dry and lacked any flavour (for their super exxy steaks) and the worst was the salmon cutlet (comes with bones because it's cutlet) was completely charred black and dry as sawdust, unsure how anyone could let that go on the pass to serve to a customer. The one decent meal was the chicken parmigiana. Verdict is, at a pub trying too hard to be a fancy restaurant, just stick to classic pub meals.
Two people in the group ended up sick after the meal also, not the best experience. Not rushing to go back.

Loving the new Reno's. The New grill menu (from what I tried) is amazing. Big range of tap beers, kids playground. Parking. Ticks all the boxes for my needs.

Good food. Comfortable clean room at good price. Wouldn't stay for a holiday but a great over night place to stay when visiting relatives.
