Numerous distinct gathering areas of a size for groups. I'm impressed. Parking nearby the pub, I was lucky and got one out front. Quick decent food food. Classy, spacious, ill be back ( no photos, work gathering)

This is a great pub/hotel to sit down with friends or family alike for a nice cold beverage and excellent food options the meals are decent sizes and can be quite filling. Be weary though as this place is booked out regularly upstairs and in the beer garden! There is generally enough seating for walk ins too though and the renovations have just made this place lovely.

Have to say I wasn't looking forward to eating lunch at a pub as usually they are overrated and overpriced.
But I was really pleasantly surprised to find a simple menu with average prices and excellent food!....
I had the Octopus and although I could of done without the sweet chilli sauce (sure it said ginger n something ?) it was cooked to perfection and a decent size.
The garlic pizza was to die for and the other dishes looked great.
Chips erred tasty and I tried the fried fish which is usually hideous and it was excellent ??'?
Definitely go back again with my folks who live nearby.
Great inside too but the outside is excellent for summer!!!

Very nicely renovated hotel offering numerous seating areas both indoors and outdoors. The craft beer offerings on tap are limited but OK. The food menu is quite expansive offering a wide range of pizzas and pub favourites plus a few others. The food at our table was well cooked, tasty and nicely presented.

Popped in for lunch. First time. Spacious. Plenty of outdoor seating. Ordered the jumbo beef burger as that seemed the most popular item coming out. Overall good.

Good evening. People having fun. Dinner was delicious but the table was way too small for three people near the scene. We had hard time to be comfortable and eat well. It was a birthday celebration and that was not what we were hoping for. A bigger table with proper chairs and the night would have been perfect. But it's been now three times we go there and the atmosphere is always positive.

Nice outdoor area, chill vibes with music. Large groups can be accommodated. Perfect for a team lunch or family event.

Food is nothing special.

A full menu was on offer with a separate children's menu. Pleasant surroundings and good staff. Also provides a large off street parking area.

Great atmosphere and the food is delicious. All the usual pub favourites and fantastic pizzas make this is great destination for a family dinner or get together with some friends. The balcony area is awesome too.

I attended oatley hotel and it was great service and all, however I was coming out of the bathroom with my friend and looked back to make sure she was there, and I was kicked out by the staff. I have no problem with being kicked out however I was kicked out for so reason at all and the security staff were laughing about me being kicked out because my "eyes were red". I have red eyes due to the medication I am on and it is an every day challenge to be able to go into public because of this, and because of the fact my eyes were red they failed to listen to the reason why. I feel extremely discriminated against and that is the reason why I am posting this review.

Amazing food!! A bit too crowded on the weekends but overall would recommend it to people looking to catch up with friends over food and drinks!!

Brilliant beer garden/outdoor areas. Lovely food and generally well priced. Will be coming back here often. The staff are always very friendly and helpful

It's been four years since I moved to Oatley from Japan, but I visited for the first time last night.
It was a wonderful place.
The staff were very friendly and the food was very good especially the atmosphere of the terrace was the best.
I was surprised that a wide range of generations from 5 to 80 years old share one space in the historic building.
It is rare for a wide range of generations to share a space in my country.

I came to love Australia again.
Thank you.

The outdoor area is great and good to have live music. Food less than average. Had the cannelloni. It could have come out of a packet. Husband had veal. Poor. Should have had pizza. Couldn't do too much harm with that surely. Yrs ago Food was great. Has been poor for some time which reflects in the number of people there.

The staff are all doing an amazing job under extraordinary circumstances. After visiting on an extremely busy night, every single staff member was friendly, patient and delivered exceptional service. Chris was amazing at making sure we had a reservation for dinner and his service did not stop there. He continued to search for a more convenient table and seated us as soon as one became available. All the staff in the restaurant were under extreme pressure to deliver endless meals and did so all with a smile on their masked faces! Well done to everyone involved at making sure this venue survived the toughest year in hospitality, and returned thriving, with a refreshed, renovated venue to be enjoyed by so many.

Been going there for over 20 years and rated it 5 stars.
Visit 2 weeks ago and I was told that I had to use the NSW gov app on my phone to sign in due to NSW health protocols. I declined and informed the duty manager that I had the option to leave my contact details being my name and phone number. The duty manager refused and demanded that I use the NSW app on my phone. I put my drivers license in the scanner on table. My understanding is that I have the right to leave my name and phone number only. I visited again late last week and explained the the situation to the licensee. She called me a liar but she was not as rude as her duty manager. The fact that the hotel does not have a clip board for patrons to record contact details proves my point.
The rest of the staff are absolutely fantastic. What a shame when you stand up for your rights as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer of NSW and get called a liar to your face. Absolutely disgraceful, stay away!

It's really a 4 star hotel. However...-1 star for the gorilla bouncer treating me like cattle last week. "Stand here! ". "Go there! ". Mate, please work on your manners. I'm not a teen kid. Probably older than you.- 1 star again for the bouncers that don't manage all the screaming teen patrons when they close at midnight.-1 star for the absolute worse "beef" nachos I've ever had in my life. Basically a vegetarian dish. The guacamole looked like something from a petrol station. And no offer to refund even though I gave back the dish and ordered and paid for something else.

Very nice venue. Food selection good.Surprised no QR code system being used , however ID is scanned & phone number is taken.

We came tonight for a last minute anniversary dinner. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the salmon, mashed potato and beans and they happily added in some prawns for me. Good portion size as well! Very nice atmosphere and glad we came for a visit! Will be back! Thank you again!

Nice pub in a good location. Decent beers on tap. Door staff were a little rude to me one night, questioning how much i'd had to drink when I'd had nothing before heading there. I know they have a job to do but it was a little intimidating for no reason.

Good night. Just unfortunate the line up around the corner to bakers delight for bookings. Better off not booking in appartently.Such a shameMeal was greatAtmosphere completely comfortable.Just got to be a better way
