Charged twice for the one room on 8th September. I was informed my payment did not process and was asked to scan again only to find out later when I checked my account that both payments of $720 were deducted from my account for the one room 2 night stay. Informed reception and had to send email stating overpayment. Received an email back saying I would get a refund but this has not been received yet. Sent more emails without getting a reply. Called and was told finance team would email me and a manager would contact me. None of this has happened. Staff just say there set script of words but there is no actual meaning or feeling or action accompanying these words. First time staying here and very disappointing as the weekend was spoilt due to being overcharged and not being left with enough funds. I am still waiting for my $720 refund for their error.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Olympic park. Convenient and wonderful stay.

We had a twin room and then a suite.

Twin room is adequate for our needs. We sleep happily with the kids. That doesn't work for some families.

The suite has a king bedroom with a double sofa bed. Separated by a door.

There is a jacuzzi bathtub and separate shower which is nice

Rooms and corridors look more like an Ibis hotel than a Novotel. No gym, no pool. Limited choice in the restaurant for dinner. Breakfast is good though.

Dropped in there for a beer. Lay out was comfortable and beer selection reasonable. Staff were friendly and efficient. While location is excellent if you are attending the stadium.

OK so the Novotel Olympic park might be getting a little old and tired now but it was the best location for a trade show I was attending.

The staff on the other hand were amazing! I have not dealt with such helpful and friendly staff in a long time. Thank you for all your help while I was there.

Very confusing restaurant and bar area. No menus handed in at the bar. No menus in tables. Most tables have 'reserved' signs but no one was there while we were there for one hour and a half. The staff is very tired, forgetful, and not friendly nor proactive. Most are not Australians either. Not worth the visit and paying a lot for the poor service.

Perfect location to Accor Stadium, Qudos Bank Arena, & other places around Olympic Park. Luxury hotel & I love the free breakfast! Will definitely be back!

Great location and friendly staff. Breakfast was good also and entire hotel was clean. Unfortunately the rooms are bare and facilities generally don't exist as the main selling point is it sits next to Accor Stadium.

The room was not clean. There was dust on most items. It was a room for four but only two cups and glasses. Only pne roll of toilet paper the carpet was not clean and did not look like it had been vacumed. Breakfast was plentiful but it was cold. And parking was expensive especially for being under the motel. Overall not impressed at all. Sorry you really need to lift your game.

Rooms could be cleaner. Wheelchair accessible rooms only for 2. What do families do. Not fair that they have to make do in a twin room with no access in the rooms. Otherwise good with excellent staff.

Great experience staying at the Novotel Olympic Park! Would highly recommend.

All the staff were amazing, helpful and obliging with any request we had. The food was great and the rooms super clean and spacious!

Returning from the CBD by ferry was a great way to experience the many faces of Sydney.

This was a fantastic stay. The room was huge, my bed was super comfortable and I read a review saying the shower head was weak but ,...not in my room. Phillipa who checked me in, was amazing. All the staff were kind and polite. So I'd definitely recommend staying here. Only downfall were the amount of children, but it was gull for cheerleader competition!!!

Absolutely fantastic service on a night with bad luck. Small complications with the door lock and they were super helpful, complimentary drinks, great communication and quick fix. Lost our keys at the end after check out and they helped search, stripped the room, gave suggestions, we ended up finding them. Really felt like they cared and were invested in our stay. Fantastic breakfast bar and amazing service. 10/10.

Nice rooms, clean, nice reception. We had a 4 person bedroom but it only had 2 mugs, 2 wine glasses etc though. Great location, right near stadiums, food, train station.

Overall a good experience, but could have been better. The staff were friendly and helpful, can't complain about that at all. Plenty of parking for a reasonable cost. Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of yummy food, but the coffee machine just wouldn't function so I had to go without. Rooms were large and spacious, good sized tv, coffee facilities, etc. Beds were comfortable, but oh so small, considering the price you pay for the room it was disappointing to only have a double bed. Bathroom was nice, but the shower head was too low, and you had to get right up to it, nearly hitting your head on the wall. The location was great, easy to get where we needed, and there are plenty of nearby restaurants for dinner.

The best service as soon as we walked in by reservations staff Shannon. He was amazing, so professional and so helpful. Because of him we would highly recommend to friends and family . The location is perfect if you are attending the stadium or arena next door and has plenty food places in the vicinity. I had the best weekend from the moment we walked in thanks to your staff. The bar staff that night were also friendly even if they were closing up we got our last drink which we were greatful for. Catching the train right next door was the cherry on the top.

My sister and I took advantage of the school holiday space themed Ultimate Kids accommodation package. The service was fantastic even before we arrived. Our kids were treated like VIPs on arrival and the staff went 'to infinity and beyond' during our stay. We had a wonderful time and would definitely do it again in future.

Reception staff both face to face and on the phone where helpful, patient and went out of their way to make you feel welcome and safe. Rooms were overpriced for what you but I suppose location is key! Bar staff were quite blah and unwelcoming the first night. Second night we could not of faulted them. They even brought out cocktails to our table.
I stayed for a work/ training conference which had meals supplied and the food was delish!
The grounds were tidy and presentable.
Housekeeping were polite and helpful also. Overall our stay was pleasant and we will be coming back again.

Really dusty rooms and they smell even worse. Disabled access room doors didn't operate properly. The staff were super lovely though.

Our stay was extremely disappointing. Besides being in a great location for accessing events at Olympic Park, the cleanliness and quality of the room was extremely poor. Upon arrival, our room was not ready and when we did finally check in, the floor felt like it needed to be vacuumed, one of the double beds had two broken legs that we had to stuff with blankets to avoid rocking and blood had to be wiped off the bathroom door. I am not one to write negative reviews but this experience prompted me to do so.

Parking is not guaranteed and costs $45 a night for parking alone. Parking is shared with Pullman and ibis and yet under sufficient! Very frustrating driving around the tiny car park and trying to park. Had to park in a different suburb and catch an Uber to Novotel because they didn't have any parking. Will definitely not stay here again!

Ended up staying here for one night after my flight to Los Angeles was cancelled by Qantas. Night staff were lovely and patient checking everyone in, and the staff in the morning were friendly as well.

Room was very nice, bed comfy and it's right at Olympic Park Stadium if you're coming for any events.

WiFi was good, overall a great experience considering it wasn't planned haha

I stayed back in Easter. Check in was horrible. It took over two hours for our room to be ready and even after the wait we had a handy man (really nice man) come into our room to fix curtains etc. I understand it was trashed before we got there but a quick call before we arrived would've been appreciated. The car park under ground is honestly a joke, I even offered to pay for a spot since I had young children but got told it's first in they will not reserve parks for rooms. After finally getting to our room it was not anything I expected, it was extremely cheap looking and the decor made no sense it looked like blood stains all over the curtains I really don't know why they chose that design. The room was small and again seemed very cheap even though it cost a decent amount of money. Dinner was nice that was the best part. In the morning I spoke to a guy behind desk and did say that we should be getting a discount due to the stuff around and people having to come in and out to fix things but he brushed it off. Unfortunately even though location is amazing especially for the royal show. There are much nicer places to stay. Some staff were rude especially the guy but there was a few lady's that were amazing. In relation to the company's previous reply about my room being upgraded that is a joke. I paid extra about $100-$150 for an upgraded room. Which was organised before I arrived. The staff were notified of the issues and didn't care. In future the company should either offer a discount or offer a reduced rate to stay again so the hotel can try to make a better impression. As I said dinner was great especially delivered to the room which is great with kids, but there are many other hotels I would choose over this one due to my experience.

I am never coming again. I booked the room months prior because I bought myself a Shawn Mendes concert ticket in Qudos Bank Arena (which included a discount code). Discount didn't work. I rang them up, they allowed me to cancel for free to input again and turns out the room failed to get the discount. On 2nd Nov, I came to reception to pay and even though my bank account had more than AU $1 000, my ANZ Visa debit card got declined seven times, but my Mum's card was accepted first swipe.

The reason why this is not 1 star is the bed. Very comfy and despite how small it was I didn't fall off it.

There was not much I could fault during my stay. I was fortunate enough to get an upgrade to a balcony room which was pretty cool for my first stay there. Staff at the desk were friendly and welcoming. The room was just the right size and extremely clean which is great to know during these troubled times. Breakfast was great and worth it with so much to choose from. Will definitely come back if ever in the area again

Poor service and quality of the hotel, it felt like staying at the Motel instead of 4 star hotel. We went to Pullman a couple weeks before, and it much better there from we arrived until we left Pullman.

Great check in. Friendly, quick and easy. Staff excellent. Extra special thanks to the young attendant at the underground car park. Great job.???

Novotel Sydney Olympic Park is a beautiful hotel that I've been too many times.

I'm surprised I haven't done this review earlier and why I like it:

- Top quality coffee

- Done big events there, there conferencing is right up with it

- Great parking (underneath)

Very nice rooms. Suits hubby & I & our son but crockery & cutlery for 2 people only. Otherwise very happy.
