Hadn't been there since the late 80's. Went for a look today while waiting for tyre's across the road. Very impressive well done to all. Had lunch out of the kitchen it had only just opened after Reno. Can't fault the food. Special mention to the young lady in the kitchen went over and above to make it a lovely affordable lunch. The whole place is looking good will be back again.

It a ghost town and with no tab machine and zero ambience, I am not surprised. What a shame because the people are nice and it's a good position.

Recently renovated and still finished things off. Friendly staff, cold beer & a great feel.

The pub is still being rebuilt after the floods. I got to meet the owner Tony and he was a lovely person, how he didn't give up after the floods hit is a true testament to the person he is.
They have a really nice outdoor area that is laid back but big enough for big groups. The food van out back I was worried that it was going to be greasy food and a let down but the food was great! The schnitty burger and chips were excellent.
Obviously when the kitchen can be reopened I'm sure the food and pub will be brilliant.

First time back to the Northern since new owners had taken over. Food amazing ??'? could not fault it.
But was hopeful for new Bar staff, but no, the same rude arrogant male, no greeting, no thank you, no please. This put a damper on the day. Will go back for the food...no purchase of alcohol.

Lovely pub. The vegetarian pizza is amazing! The food is well priced and decent serving. Definitely recommend

Tables were filthy and sticky , Floor looked dirty . This was in the dining area.

We had a fantastic night. Love Billy Gudgeon Band. Great music and fabulous friends.

No star's for no class! Keep driving to beautiful nimbin pub or the well run pubs in lismore .

The Northern rivers hotel is the place to go to for a feed. Been there many times the prices are very reasonable. The staff very friendly and afficient.

when i ordered a seafood basket it had fish and calamari.
zero scallops absent prawns so now i know to order the steak....this steak is the way it's supposed to be....MWD perfection. thanks northern.

I have been there on 6 other occasions, and have found that the steak is getting tougher with each visit. Very disappointed as the steak should be the star. The potato bake is jst wonderful.

Had number for meal stolen twice, beer was barely cold out of tap, supposedly 'rump steak' was charred and full of gristle, salad was unwashed, plenty of chips but they were so bad I only had a handful, possible child labour, both staff and customers were totally offensive. Avoid this hole like the plague. Zero star rating.

Slowest service I have experienced in any pub. It was father's day so we booked ahead.
On a table for 10 it took an hour for the first meal to arrive. Over the next half an hour another 4 meals came out. They had lost the other 5 orders.
They brought out the wrong order 3 or 4 times as well.
Average pub grub so pick any other pub in Lismore.

Not very hospitable, after we had ordered and paid for our 12 meals one of the men was told by a female, who apparently is the managers wife, we had to leave and not come back. The person she abruptly spoke to, was working casual until this weekend,rang and advised could not do shift this morning due to family issue with his small child. This has upset all those present including the small children. Even though i live out of lismore i will not consider recommending this place as it is not family friendly as shown by staff.
