This pub is in a great location in a great part of Annandale, but it's in desperate need of new furniture, and a bit of a 'freshen up'. The drinks are pretty cheap, which is a bonus, but the pub is just tired and needs some energy and life injected into the place. Young bar and wait staff who are not professional hospitality people too. They were friendly enough, but don't ask for a cocktail there! A beautiful art deco building on the outside, yet a tired old 90's pub on the inside. Lots of potential, but not yet realised.

I recently dined at the North Annandale Hotel, and my experience was a mixed one. The food, while not exceptional, was decent but fell short of being remarkable. On the positive side, the atmosphere was enjoyable, though not quite amazing. What truly stood out was the service; it was absolutely amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our visit pleasant. If you're looking for a place with excellent service, this might be worth a visit, but don't expect the food to blow you away.

Great local watering hole. I would only suggest to please remove the rule of not being able to serve a Carlton in a pint. I take particular umbrage in only being able to enjoy a mere schooner of my favourite beer on tap.

Newtowner, coopers, little creatures and vb.
Lots of big screens for watching sport.
Reasonable prices.
On Johnston street. You can't miss it.

The North Annandale has been refurbished twice in the past 15 years. The latest extension has provided several nice indoor & outdoor dining areas. The bistro serves a limited but delicious menu if favorites. Life music in the front bar in Sunday afternoons!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is great. Sometimes we get to see the live concerts. Great area to have meals with kids at the back. It's not a play area but it gives you peace of mind with toddlers...

I've lived in Annandale for ~10 years and this place has always been my local.

It's a decent enough boozer, however it seems to lack a bit of character or soul.

The drinks selection is decent and reasonably priced. The food has also come a long way from where it used to be, however there are definitely better options for pubs in Annandale but none closer!

THE best schnitzel you'll find in any pub in Sydney. The coleslaw is unbelievably fresh and crisp too. Friendly welcoming staff and always a great vibe/atmosphere every time we visit. Live music on Sundays

There's not much of a vibe to the pub itself, being more of the commercial variety than the cheerful local joint, but the selection of drinks was good, the service friendly, and the food surprisingly good.
The fish & chips doesn't look like much but the fish itself actually had a great flavour and the battery was lovely and light. For $17 as a lunch deal, I was very happy with it.

Been there couple of times for beer. They have a good variety and food is also good in reasonable price.

The staff were not friendly at all. When we ordered the food the woman who took my order continued to roll her eyes, when we asked questions about the menu.
My partner ordered a roast vegetable cous cous salad that was very bland and I had the lamb rosemary sausages with vegetables, requested no gravy. My partners meal was returned along with mine as it had gravy.
Mine meal was replaced and received an apology. They didn't ask why we returned the other meal.
Disappointed for a place that promised so much. It wasn't busy.

Thursday meat raffel was lots of fun. Won a tray for $5 and felt very lucky. Good space and price for drinks. We ordered their burger which is surprisingly well presented and huge. Will come back again.

I'm really hoping the North Annandale returns to its former glory pretty fast, as the menu/food has gone downhill big time. The menu has not changed in years and there are absolutely no interesting healthy options or specials to keep regulars coming back. The food is over-priced for its current quality and food service is pretty much non-existent. The service in the bar was great however!

Clean, covid safe, nice gaming room, kids friendly, many function rooms and great atmosphere. A shame we have known a long time ago. Highly recommended, I come every week.

Great layout with a sports bar/after work drinks feel near the front and a nice family space woth a balcony down the end.Food is good but a bit pricey

Went twice to this place. If you are a vegetarian, don't waste your time, there are no decent options for Mains. Not even a Veggie burger. When I asked the staff, they offered me a salad (as a salad is a proper meal for someone who just had a tennis match and was starving). Terrible.Also, while I was having my beer, 2 massive cockroaches were waking around.Definitely not coming back. Cheers.

Good hotel above average prices drinks reasonable price compared to some.

First time visitor. Good atmosphere, old school upbeat music and a nice chill out area with comfy lounges.

My favourite pub by far!! Menu is awesome. Best chicken schnitty by far and I've tried most. Generous serve that is well worth it!
