Great relaxed atmosphere. Nice views. Food is always good and reasonably priced. We come here regularly.

Today Saturday the 23 September 2023 at lunch time, I ordered Bangers and Mash, which I would not recommend. The three sausages were drowning in gravy, very gritty and with an over powering fennel flavour. As a result I could not finish them. There was also, very little mash and they had to be reminded to provide me with the carrots that the menu said was part of the dish. At least the dishes ordered by the rest of my party were OK. However, we were all in agreement that the coffees we ordered were too bitter and some of us could not drink them. Maybe the coffee machine needs cleaning more often ??? On the plus side, the waiting staff were very attentive.

Lovely location overlooking the Nepean river, close to Penrith CBD. However, food and service was underwhelming.

I came here for a family lunch. The restaurant was busy, but nowhere near full. My order and my partners got forgotten so we had to chase up the kicthen and only got our meals once the rest of our party was finished. And not even an apology from the staff.

Schnitzel was a good size for the price. Buschetta was nice, but expensive for 3 small pieces. Wellness bowl was a waste of money, more cabbage than anything else, and no protein. (And what kind of hummus has dairy in it?!) Menu needed clearly marked vegan and gluten free options to make this a truly family/group friendly establishment.

Unfortunately, for all the good I've heard about the rowing club, I was disappointed.

My wife and I often dine here on a weekend and have found it excellent! The staff are super friendly, meals are very nice and well priced. We highly recommend it. P.S. the special of Barramundi & Prawns are awesome!

Omg visited there today with the family! And wow what a meal I had the Asian Sticky Pork Belly and let me tell you it was delicious! Loving the new menu! Definitely will be back!

Thought that we would go to the raffles on Thursday night. Ordered meals the last two times that we attended on Thursday night and in all honesty they were inedible. Should have returned them an asked for our money back. Tonight I ordered sirloin which wasn't cheap and the best thing on the plate was the lettuce.the steak was tough and hard to cut. They used to have brilliant meals but now it's not worth buying a meal there. Even the appetisers aren't worth trying. As I said. On the last two occasions should have asked for our money back. New chefs. Don't bother going there . No flavour. Absolutely horrible.

Met for a birthday lunch. Good selection of meals & drinks, nice & relaxed atmosphere. Was my lucky day winning two meat trays. Fantastic! ?

We had a lovely meal here today at Paddles Bistro. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we sat outside. Never having been to this club before I must say we were impressed by the food, generous serves and very fresh and well presented meals. The staff were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was good. Our balcony reservation was kept for us even though we were 45 minutes late. Some menu items are a bit pricy. Reasonable drink prices.

Been a regular diner over the past few months. Love the food. Always fresh and delicious. Wait staff and the kitchen always friendly and helpful.

Never disappointed with the meals on offer as they are beautiful. Also very friendly staff and a nice view of the river whilst enjoying a drink just tops it off.

Food was good, service was friendly. Food came out pretty quickly which was good. However the live music was too loud for the room it was in. If you want live music to be heard everywhere maybe put speakers in other rooms don't just turn up the volume and crank it out. Was hard to have a conversation at times.

My first time at this venue, seating was cramped, food was cold I had grilled chicken the gravy was the only warm thing on the plate. Expensive for the quality. Would not recommend

Been having the lunch special penne boscaiola every week for over a year because it was really nice and reasonable value but the last 2 weeks they are cutting corners and reducing portion sizes so now $15 (member price which has gone up 15% in that time) gets this kids size meal.
Complained about it and was given a complimentary garlic bread but doubt they will change anything. Doesn't even taste as good anymore as they cut back on the sauce. Had a 5 year old with us and the chips with his meal were so bad he ate hardly any, and he LOVES chips. Since there is no shortage of venues on the river I recommend you go elsewhere as I will do until I hear their food has improved. Its a pity because their bar and wait staff are great.

3 stars only because of lovely location and staff. Been coming here for over a year but will patronise other venues given substantial decrease in size and quality of meal and pretty average chips ( 5 yr old even turned nose up at chips). Complimentary garlic bread to make up for child size meal ??

How very disappointing was the food and so overpriced for what it is.
The last time there being earlier in year,was good and were staff.
Today meat was tough,couldn't eat and no more a baked dinner than fly the moon.
The chicken was also tough which is concerning and definitely not what you call fajitas

By far one of the friendliest small clubs you will find in western Sydney. Always feel at home when visiting this club.

Great views, lots of tables. Food is overpriced for what it is - just glorified pub food. Go here every month and staff are very friendly. Why does it close so early? 9pm is too early. 10pm would be better.

What a pleasure it is to go to the Rowers with my friends, good location, good food, good company and the best is having a conversation where you don't have to shout at one another.

Great food and comfortable seating. Good river views and great service. Easy parking.

First time visitors. Friendly attentive staff. Food was average and on the expensive side for what it was. Spoiled by the language from a patron sat close to us.

Good food and sensible portions, after viewing the menu, go to the counter to see more daily meals.

What an awesome place to have lunch or dinner!! Eating magnificent, tasty, reasonably priced food on comfy chairs overlooking the picturesque Nepean River.Small kitchen turns out a beautifully varied tempting menu that satisfies the tastebuds for every palate!Daily specials call you back and they deliver what the menu promises.Definitely not your regular club meals.The drinks, however, are quite expensive so if you stick to water you will save a packet! But give them a break- they have to make a quid somehow!!Lovely friendly, helpful, speedy service, fresh tasty food. We'll keep going back!!

This was not bad for a small club. The food was of reasonable pub quality and a reasonable price. Most staff were very helpful, however the table was not cleared for a good hour and a half whilst we were still dining. The garlic bread is oddly portioned with three pieces and is a bit dry, but otherwise fare was pretty reasonable.
