Good location right near the beach, clean and roomy, good price. And my GF reckons the best rump and broccolini she's had for a very long time.

We had an excellent stay at Narrabeen Sands this weekend. We had quite a large party and booked out a few rooms. The location is excellent and the staff are all really friendly and accommodated all our needs. We are definitely planning to return soon.

I made the booking last minute as I had to take one of my students, a minor, out of the homestay that she was placed at on the northern beaches. We arrived there just after 8.30pm and I explained how tired we were when I was doing the check in. At exactly 7am the next morning, we were woken up with a lot of noise and there were builders everywhere on the roof, doing some renovation / work on the roof. I recorded the noise and asked the reception if they could ask them to stop but apparently, they couldn't do anything. I was very upset about this incident as they should have informed the guests prior to them finalizing their booking so it should be a conscious decision to stay there or not. They charged the amount as a normal price and did not even offer a discount, even after my numerous compalints. The lady at the reception was kind and told me she spoke to her manager, who was going to give me a call back. He never did. I called again and was told the same thing. I never received any message or any return from them. Therefore, I will never recommend or stay there again.

Spacious rooms right opposite the beach. Great access to local cafes and pub downstairs. Not noisy and a relaxed atmosphere.

Good value for money, spacious rooms, friendly staff. Small issue of dissatisfaction was handled really well.

Rooms are okay nothing to go crazy about. The food is shocking. Taste bland and no flavour, tried the cheese burger and meat lovers pizza and never ate something so bland and no taste. Location good but that's it

Visited family staying in the hotel accommodation... modern, clean and good furnishings and quite a large room with beautiful bathroom. Very nice!

Dinner in the bistro was very good with reasonable prices. Very good menu choices and nightly specials.
Definitely worth a visit if looking for accommodation or a meal in the area.

Very comfortable but sadly charge $10 ph after 10am. I just thought it was unnecessary as there wasn't any there knocking on the door. Cleaner or guest. It's the small things that count.

The location cannot be faulted it's right accross the beach and the parking is free and convenient. We were accommodated for 12nn check in which was really helpful. Booked an ocean view room, got 2 queens but no couch as advertised. The room was clean, had a balcony facing the ocean which was really beautiful to wake up to. Renata has been helpful from the time i inquired via email upto the time she attempted to fix the netflix issue.

Cons:
1. Netflix never worked and despite seeveral attempts to fix it, there was obviously a connection issue that no one can fix.
2. Mistakenly booked for 2 adults and 1 child, instead of 2 children and was surpised at check in that i had to pay extra $46 for a 4 year old child. That included an extra bath towel and face towel set up in the room. No extra bed, no breakfast
, no bottled water. just extra towels for $46.
3. The shower drain seemed clogged and since it was a one night stay did not bother reporting.
4. The shower water pressure was really weak.
5. The hair dryer is really small and weak i cannot even use it to dry a child's hair.

Overall, for $300+ for a 1 night stay is not really good value for money. There are other better options for that price which are also along the beach,

Convenient place in a great location.
Walking distance to Collaroy Beach. Big rooms and big bathroom.
Ammenities include coffee and tea making facilities, proper sized fridge, complimentary bottle of water for each guest, usb ready power points, air conditioning, double glazing windows and balcony facing the ocean.

Great accommodation in a gorgeous spot. Walk up and down the full length of the beach and you won't want to go home, or jump on the 199 Bus to Summer Bay and maybe you'll run into Alf Stewart. Plenty of food choices around, plus a free included drink at the bar downstairs, what's not to like?

The location was good and the room was so comfortable. I loved that I could order room service so easily and the food was delicious! Outstanding service too.

Stay at Hotel Sands whilst in town for work. Was really happy with my stay here. Hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and all the shops. Plenty of restaurants close by including the bistro in the hotel. Complementary free drink on arrival which was cool! Room was massive, very clean and tidy and most importantly a great shower. Parking underneath and was able to fit my van so very happy with that. All in all great experience, would recommend.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The Publican made a point of learning our names and made us feel at home. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Used the Groupon voucher. They have limited availability for the deal. My room was so dusty, especially the lamp cords. I had to wipe them down myself! Guy at reception was so friendly. Location is great.

Room was spacious and clean. Bed comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Free parking. Restaurant in pub had great food. 1 minute walk to beach. Would stay here again.

We ordered a few different dishes which were delicious, there was a mix up with the orders which delivered a Hawaiian pizza to my vegetarian partner.

They definitely made up for it, read on... I'll definitely be going back!

The manager Cam came over to check everything was all to our satisfaction, I said we never got the right pizza.

Cam apologised for my partner having to pick at the toppings and miscommunication.
He reimbursed for the cost of the pizza and shouted a round of drinks for the inconvenience.

I found this to be a comforting and refreshing way to do business.

I'll be coming back again and again.

This hotel is the best hotel to stay in Sydney's Northern Beaches. It's the best location with everything you would want close by, the beach, restaurants, and a bar and venue right downstairs. The rooms are great, very comfortable. While I stayed there Narrabeen had a bad storm that took out the power for about 8 hours going into the evening. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and did everything they could to help in a situation that was out of their hands. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

The meals were enjoyable. Was very busy on the night and was a slight wait. But all in all well worth a visit for a meal and a drink.

Great Stay. Good location, excellent room and wonderful hotel staff. A faultless stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Narrabeen area.

My family and I stayed here for two nights and we had a great experience! I have always been hesitant to stay in hotel/pubs but this did not feel like it at all! The entrance for the hotel is separate, the rooms were spacious and really nice. We stayed in a twin room and expected two single beds, they were two double rooms with a nice sized balcony. The staff were really nice. We made a note that my elderly grandparents were staying and they made sure they were put in the room with wheelchair accessible bathrooms right next door to us.

Location is good, next to the beach, fruit market, cafes, bakery and shops right next door.

Only downfall would be the continental breakfast, but as mentioned, great cafes and food options nearby.

Wiuld stay again!

Stayed in the accommodation for 1 night. The location is great and next to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did the Groupon deal including a nice breakfast. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable with a very comfy bed. Can't recommend the pub or food downstairs as didn't go but would recommend the accommodation.

Awful customer service. Terrible experience. My partner booked the room for 3 nights paying the deposit with my credit card. When we arrived to do the check in we were advised that if I wanted to pay with my credit card my name should be in the booking. The lady at the reception told us to call Agoda as she could not add my name to the booking. After almost one hour on the phone with the third party (that was trying to contact the hotel) we were told by the other lady at the reception (the manager she said) that we could do this in the pre-check email they sent, however, we never received this email. Finally, she thought to re-sent it to us and we could add my name to the booking. Almost one hour wasted to put a name in order to use my credit card. Very frustrating, as the issue could have been solved in a minute if they knew what they were doing. Instead, they did not care at all, and kept saying that the booking was not made though the hotel directly, so they did not take any responsibility and did not care to try resolve the problem.

Beds & mattresses were super comfortable, clean and soft linen. Receptionist told us in morning the mattresses were new (King Coil).Room was clean and quiet - double glass doors to keep noise from road out and really thick curtains to keep out light.

The hotel was cheap and clean and spacious. Narrabeen beach was just amazing. What else do you need? Go try:)

It is a really nice place and the staff are great but the food lets it down. We were a table of 11 and no one enjoyed their meal, the most possitive comment was "My burger was okay". :(

I highly recommend staying here. We stayed in an ocean view room for two nights over the weekend and it was amazing. You cant hear any noise from the street. The views are breathe taking and the service was great. We will be back for sure!

Amazing location close to beach. Booked apartment room, spacious, enough room for our 1 year old to play. Wouldve been great if sofa was a sofa bed so the two of us couldve fit while bub slept in separate bedroom, other than that great.
