had a terrible experience at this hotel, I went twice because I think everyone deserves a second chance.
Chicken schnitzel is similar to the one you can buy frozen in the supermarket bit paying four times more,
burgers are mot good, ,nothing special,
Its not a family friendly place, staff not friendly with kids.
Save your money and eat elsewhere.

The Moore Park View a fantastic pub! The staff is super friendly, the food is always yummy, and the best part? It's totally cool with bringing your doggo along! Their specials are definitely worth checking out.

Wednesday night steak is a must In Sydney the place is packed class atmosphere and even better food with great value. The bar manager here is the nicest and most welcoming man off all time

When you're feeling like having a schnitzel, steak or salmon, this is a pretty decent pub to visit.

I love this place as it is so close and the food is often great. The new Reno's are cool and allow for different areas to enjoy a drink. With this recent weather would have been great to see the AC units on in the alfresco bistro, whilst it's pet friendly you are segregated to a certain area which is lovely but just hot.

Great pub with very friendly and helpful staff. Found this on the internet and only a short stroll from where we were staying. Meeting family members for a drink and dinner it was a very welcoming pub. Definitely recommend this pub if you are close by. Even the owner was very friendly and chatty. Great night thank you MPVH staff and management.

Not usually one to leave reviews but this place deserves it. 5 star steak every time. Couldn't fault it! Pricing is more than reasonable. Staff friendly, service excellent, the space is well thought out and inviting to be in. Fab pub. Seriously, try their steak!

Came in just as first time customer on the way to the airport for lunch. Two of us had the steak special. Cooked perfectly and the flavour my god would have been happy paying normal price or even more. The owners are very easy and friendly to speak with and have great yarn.

So inviting and welcoming. The owners and staff are amazing and kind. Dog friendly as well so we got to pat Archie the dog wearing a coconut shirt. Really hip and inclusive.
The food is affordable and yummy.
And all the blondes that walked past were pretty decent as well.

I've had to edit this review, really disappointed with the roast dinner today,
The portion size was a joke. HALF a potato, 2 slithers of carrots, and a tiny Yorkshire.. what happened to the normal size dinner guys!?

We went to the Moore Park for dinner last nigiri it was excellent. the back room that has just been renovated is excellent for large group bookings. The food was delicious. I had a Caesar salad which was 10/10 my kids had the schnitzels and they thought they where fantastic. great price point. Service from bar staff was greats we will be back for sure!!

I have been here several times. I usually go for steak night on Wednesdays. They serve the best rump steaks in the city, may be in Australia for just A$ 15.
Since the renovation they are having a a very nice new sitting area plus a few tables outside.
The service is very good always.

The food here is unbeatable! Try the prawn linguine or the spice bag for something well priced packed with flavour.

The venue itself is spacious with multiple areas for food, outdoor drinking, sports and general catch up areas. Kid friendly. Dog friendly. Honestly a great spot.

I lived in the are for a while now and last night was the first night I went there for a beer and dinner with my mate.
I have to say MPVH forgive me for not visiting before.
How great everything was. So lovely inside. Girls at the bar fantastic ,with the smile.

Best chicken wings in Waterloo, great vibes, outdoor sitting area available.

I've been a regular here for a year and the food has always been good with great portion size. But now they've changed cooks and todays meals were awful. The fish and chips is not only now tiny - 3 teeny weeny little strips that were all batter and no fish , tiny serve of chips and the onion rings with the MPV burger were oily and tasteless and raw on the inside. Disappointed.

I'm struggling to find a better pub meal around. The Steak (either item) has to be my favourite although the Prawn & Crab Linguine is hard to beat. I'll always finish off my wife's leftover Chicken Schnitzel for her and there's always an interesting Specials Board to choose from too.

We came for lunch and ordered the chicken burger. Both chickens on the burger was burnt. Mine was worst than my partners. I couldn't even taste the chicken itself due to the burnt crumbs on the exterior. I had to pick off the crumbs to eat it. The chicken itself was also very dry.

I don't think we will come back anytime soon.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but is an absolute gem! Great food and service and atmosphere on the weekends.

We ate here on our last night of a Sydney weekend getaway. The place was packed with locals all enjoying themselves. We both ordered the chicken parmigiana and enjoyed every mouthful! Would definitely recommend this pub to others.

I must admit, coming to Waterloos local pub I wasnt expecting much.... that said, Ive found the service by the Team exceptional; specifically speaking the server with long hair has often showcased a level of care and commitment which has simply wowd me and my mates to such a level that Ive decided to move to Moore park just for the local :).With respect the above, Ive found the Team of Steve, Monica, Mandy, Ash and Dan ( no specific order) amazing.Truly thank you Team and all the best.CheerA

The management and staff at the Moore Park Hotel are excellent. My car broke down at a very busy intersection nearby. Staff from the hotel came out to help push it twice - first to get it off the road, and then to put it onto the back of the tow truck when it arrived. Very kind and decent people

We were there for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. Whilst the food was great it was a bit too noisy for us. Think it should be quieter during the week.

Great place , really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Really polite staff especially the guy with the long hair.

Biggest (and arguably the best) Chicken Parmi in Sydney. Trivia on a Tuesday night is OUTSTANDING. The food and service here is fantastic and I genuinely love this pub. I have friends who come down from up north just to enjoy their parmi, and the buffalo wings are top shelf as well. VISIT THIS EXCELLENT PUB.
