Really nice place to visit and grab something to eat. The food is tasty, yet a little bit small. You don't have to wait long for serving. There is a nice place to sit outside.

Absolutely fantastic spot! Great for families. Really tasty food at reasonable prices. We stopped in by chance on a long car trip and have now noted it for future stops.

Wow what an amazing family & dog friendly venue. The kids area was the best I have seen in Australia... massive playground, basketball court, table tennis, mini golf... but the best part was the 2 awesome young ladies that entertained the large number of kids with dancing competitions and more.
Great value food and happy hour drinks & cocktails. We tried the Rump & Rib special and it was big and yummy. Good kids selections too.
Did I forget the great live music. Absolutely loved the place.

Food is always amazing with generous portions. Staff are happy and deliver amazing customer service. It can get busy. However, I have always managed to get a table.

Awesome atmosphere as they had a live DJ, friendly staff, clean area and a playground for the kids. Also dogs welcome outside which is great!
The staff were very efficient with cleaning tables and were accommodating to dietary needs and questions asked.
The pumpkin salad was a cracker and had an add on option with various meats or avocado which was a generous serve (I added grilled chicken and a friend added squid).

By far the best place we have eaten out on our 2 week road trip through NSW. Great food. Huge meals and the pizzas were delicious. Good value. Very clean. The staff were also very friendly. My wife loved the lighthouse cocktail. Pulled pork burrito bowl and garlic prawns. Yum yum. Highly recommended.

I don't normally leave reviews....only if it's bad. Tonight Moonee Hotel, you have once again delivered a great meal. Apart from the most amazing garlic prawns, I decided to venture out more in the menu. I had Corn Ribs for starters followed by Calamari chips & salad. The calamari was cooked to perfect.....not rubbery. Big thumbs up Moonee Hotel ??'????'??

Wow what an excellent family friendly experience! We went for dinner with 3 kids. They had a bouncy castle, rock climbing wall, table tennis, and basketball hoop. There were 6+ TVs showing several sports (soccer, AFL, cricket, cycling, etc).
We ordered online from the table. Dinner was delicious especially the burrito bowl! Chef absolutely nailed this dish!
Bar had some great cocktails and craft beers including a couple on rotation. Two water stations (one near the bar and another near the outdoor area) with plenty of glasses.
What made the experience 5 stars is the guy (brown shirt and mo) that checked on us at the end and asked if the kids had an ice cream with their kids meals. He went out of his way while the restaurant was getting busy to sort out three ice creams with the kids choice of toppings.
All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
We all felt safe and happy there and could have stayed all evening!

Really enjoyed my Beetroot & Fig salad here! Great food and atmosphere, place looks clean and staff were friendly. Went on a Wednesday night and it was busy - quite a long queue to order food and a little bit of a wait for food to be ready, but nothing too bad! Definitely recommend booking ahead, especially with a large group of people.

First time going here & I loved it.. the food was hot & fresh.. Yummy cocktails & a selection of beers & cocktails.. nice customer service great atmosphere & good music.. I had a frozen margarita was so delicious.. The burgers are so big & to yummy.. The chips & Wedges were perfect...I will be going there again

The serving size was excellent, if not too big for my waistline, but I really enjoyed the pork belly.

Plenty of activities for the whole family it was a really relaxing space for a birthday celebration.

There can be a long wait for food when they're busy, so just order yourself some drinks and garlic bread and enjoy your company until it is ready.

Drew is an absolute legend! He came to pick us up in the courtesy bus and dropped us back off right at our tent. He made our stay a pleasure and was the standout of our trip. If you're staying in the area, make sure you call the courtesy bus and ask for Drew. Thanks mate, was great to meet you :)

Fantastic food, friendly staff. Great cold beer in clean glasses. Huge outside beer garden. Place was clean and well run. Definitely recommend and come back.

Plenty of things to do for kids. blow up castle, Basketball, movies, games, ping pong, fun games, and miniature golf. There is also good heating at night , occasional live bands and a good overall ambience. Only reason for the 3 stars is that last time we went for a birthday dinner and i found all our meals very ordinary. If just going to the bar for a drink, it is exceptional.

Nice place, just be careful ordering the 'steak' and ribs. The ribs were great. Don't know what cut the 'steak' was, best to ask for extra ribs and ditch the 'steak'

The portion sizes are great as you can see there were heaps of chips and for the nachos it had a lot! The burger was really good and decent size as well! Would definitely recommend!!

Decided to try Moonee Tavern. The meals were good, especially the Hawaiian pizza. Kids had a great time playing basketball whilst waiting for their meal! ?

We went on Monday night and took advantage of the 2 for 1 pizzas! They were good. Nice tavern, lots of parking. Well priced menu.

Absolutely sensational! one of the best family friendly taverns/pubs we have been to. there is so much outdoor play for the kids from a giant Jumping castle, b-ball, mini golf, rock climbing and an indoor playroom for colour in area. Super quick service! Food is not only able in price, it's delicious. So good I did not get a chance to take a photo. We will be back again whilst staying here and will add photos then. Great place and highly recommend

Terrible. I ordered salmon steak rare to medium, but it was over cooked and very tasteless. The veggies were boiled to a pulp. Very noisy, no ambiance, every 5 minutes over the load speakers the winners of raffle tickets. Not worth any money! It was like an old school canteen that tried to make the joint interesting.

Went for Mexican night the food was great, they even gave us a dog bowl for our pup. Food was made quickly and very tasty. Great portions and they did a Covid check too which was reassuring. Would recommend.
