first walked in and the staff were super friendly! hospitality was great, loved the food! would definitely come again if we ever pass through on holidays

The Worst Chinese Meal I Have Ever Had
When I lived in Merriwa a few years ago, I used to eat here around once/week. When I received my meal this evening, it was apparent that the restaurant management had changed. Even though I informed the waitress that I would be eating in, collected my chopsticks and sat down to wait at my table, my honey chicken and fried rice were were brought to me in plastic takeaway containers and I had to tip them onto the plate myself. The honey chicken and the noodles underneath them were lukewarm and soggy. The fried rice was tasteless and the meat was also soggy. It was apparent that my meal wasn't cooked fresh but taken out of the fridge and warmed in the Microwave. I thought adding some soy sauce to the fried rice would make it taste less bland. I thought wrong. It was apparent that it had been watered down and tasted funky. Some visitors from the sunshine coast stopped by my table to chat on the way out. They didn't enjoy their meal either. I chatted to couple of locals and told them that I was thinking of leaving a bad review. They encouraged me to do it. It seems the new management is not that popular.

The new restaurant owners were awesome. So professional and respectful, beautiful meals.

Has a meal here and the food was great and reasonably priced. Typical country club Chinese restaurant, Not flash but friendly. Definitely be back when passing through town. They even allow free caravan parking overnight.

Had dinner last night in the Chinese Restaurant 9/3/19 the food was of a high standard and the young Lady attending to the customers has to be complimented on her hospitality Thanks will visit again when in town.
