Great little club with freindly and courteous staff ..locals like a chat ..very freindly place ..not overly big but a great small venue that you can feel very comfertable and the food from the bistro was superb ..wish there were more than 5 stars to recommend this place ...

Have started going down to the bowls club almost every week now! Yep that's right - more than just once every 5-10 years, and I'm only 36!! Partially because it's a fun activity on a weather permitting afternoon, but even moreso because the food, events, and staff are fantastic! We've become regulars for the trivia, the specials menu is always keeping us guessing and the Parma is one of the best on the coast! Prices are what you'd expect from a bowls club in 2024 and are even cheaper if you pay the 1$ or whatever it costs to become a member. Here's a bit of footage of me and some people I met last Saturday night enjoying a dance during Saturday night music trivia. Why wouldn't you want to be THIS happy?

Had a great time at trivia night, fun staff, great service, food was alright, nice bar with a solid tap list of beers.

We came to have a quiet meal. I looked at the menu, and as I have food allergies I often have difficulties. I must not have read properly what I had ordered, and the chicken came covered in crumbs. I can't eat bread crumbs.

As I didn't want to cause a scene.....it was my own fault.....I asked for another plate, so I could cut the crumbs off of the chicken. Well, the chef would have none of that. He said would you like some pork belly instead. I replied that this was my own fault, I'll just cut the crumbs off. NO, he immediately cooked me up some pork belly, and brought it out to me. No charge!

I'm totally amazed at this. He didn't have to do this. This is customer service at it's best. Will we be back? You can bet your bottom dollar we will.

New chef and beautiful meal. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals, the whole 6 of us. Great service and friendly staff.

Great club very friendly people lots of social bowls and a great bistro. It is our 'local' whilst we are on the Gold Coast and we feel very much at home

We had chicken schnitzels which where a good price taste above average. And had a parmy as well which was average. Really friendly and polite staff. Quick wait time really nice garlic bread with cheese.

Excellent day @ the Bowls Club..I was playing music & tunes there from 3.30pm to 6.30pm..the crowd playing bowl's was fantastic & really got into the vibe..The staff were great too & very helpful..

Great place for a beer and tea so close to turtle beach resort

We recently held a family event in the function room, and it was just perfect for what we needed. The food was excellent, everything went smoothly, and the staff were so welcoming and helpful, and really looked after us. For us, it is a family memory that we will always treasure, so thank you Mermaid bowls club team! Would definitely recommend!

Went to music trivia here Saturday 19th what a great night the locals made us feel welcome and we had a fantastic time and the food delicious. Would recommend anyone looking for a fun night out go to music bingo.

Club is slowly being renovated. Good attentive staff. Nice greens. Reasonable bar prices. I didnt eat there but the bistro menu looked prettyhood

We had our Xmas party there tonight and the staff were so professional and covid safe! They served us amazing food and were fast at the bar didn't have to wait longer than 2 minutes for a drink! Would highly recommend booking here if you have a group function :)
