Very good Pub, great Locals, the Bistro is really impressive. Food value is outstanding.

Had buffet meal. Food was great with excellent service

I don't know another time. But for today, the cooked prawn is sticky and smelly. The manager came to explain the prawn was bought like that, here is Tasmania. It is not acceptable to pay $45 per person to have such bad food. Never come back.

The Marquis Buffet is famous for being the best buffet in Hobart. Reasonably priced, fantastic assortment of food, relaxed, friendly atmosphere, with bar, lunch and dinner.

What a great pub high up in West Hobart with breathtaking views over Hobart and the Derwent River.
I go there regularly for lunch and the buffet is moderately priced with an incredible selection of entrees, mains and deserts and you can go back as many times as you like. A must go kind of place but it is advisable to book ??'???'???'?

Location is wonderful as it is nearby the hobart city area. Very clean room and comfortable beds. Not too big but enough to be comfortable for 4 adults. There is a bistro that provides fabulous service!

Amazing service and amazing food. We had our Jetstar flight cancelled within two hours of the flight and my partner found this beauty. Good food to go and great accomodation, views to boot. I wish I found this place earlier. Well next time from Adelaide, this is where we will stay :) thank you all

had a buffet dinner here, I don't usually like buffet meals but this was the most delicious buffet I have ever been too. so many different varieties of food. food like chicken parmi (that you never normally get in a buffet meal). I can't praise it high enough. definitely recommend. 5 star all the way.

We held a work dinner here just prior to Christmas. The food was excellent and the service friendly and proactive. There were a lot of people there that night, with other group bookings, and whilst it was cosy, the staff were on the ball. The buffet was good value with plenty of selections for the varied tastes of our staff. We will be back 😁

As usual the food was great, plenty of options for everyone and the dishes are not bland at all. Great desserts to finish with that aren't super sweet.

One disappointment, as everyone knows, one bill per table is a nightmare for large groups. As a group of 20 paying with both cash and card should be expected. To make it worse there are multiple different charges for your kids depending of their age.

Our group paid for all people who attended, but of course there was a mystery amount left over. The staff made this payment process harder then it had to be, with little cooperation.

This buffet should charge upon entry to avoid all the fuss and to ensure there are no walkouts.
Also there should be one charge for children under a certain age. Not multiple charges to further complicate things.

Was a great night until being hit with an overcharged bill and forced to pay for and extra 2 adults that did not exist.

Cheap Accommodation with Free Parking. Rooms very basic with all the essentials. Attached Coin-Op laundry very handy when hiking. Showers hot and with full pressure.
