Large older style venue. Has live music and occasionally fight nights. As you would expect from one of the few remaining venues that supports the music industry it's a bit older and more run down than most of the modern venues. But that adds to the character. Huge sports bar, seperate mid size gaming area. Private function rooms. Outdoor tables and chairs. Friendly staff. Wasn't too many patrons when I was there mid week afternoon. Probably best to go when there's a something happening here. 2 massive uncovered off street parking area's.

I didn't get any food but I did get a couple drinks. Had a nice bartender named Bec who served me through the way. She was always down for a chinwag and made me feel at home. I'm from out of town and most my family is dead so it was really nice to have someone with such a nurturing character. Hope I see her around again

Mansfield Tavern is iconic. The many years of incredible bands and musicians playing on the Rock Arena stage has left a magical energy throughout the venue. The staff are wonderful and the managers are always helpful and keep events running smoothly. The food is always fresh and delicious and head chef is always accommodating to dietary needs and requests. Overall an absolutely wonderful venue for events!

Kylie is the best!!! Always get great service and well looked after.
Selina is just as good, and if you're sick of the same drink and want to try something different she will help you out. Jake and Jonathan make some good cocktails but All the staff are lovely and helpful at the Mansfield

Today my family and I came together at the Mansfield Tavern to celebrate Christmas and I just wanted to commend the young lady who served us at the bar. Her name was Sage and she was just lovely, very helpful and very patient with some members unable to decide. She went out of her way to be super helpful and friendly . She helped make an enjoyable get together even more special for us.

Dropped into the bar for a quick beer with the boys - Sage was great! We tried a few beers on her recommendations - and then she talked up the food so we all grabbed dinner (which was also great). This was suppose to be a few beers and we ended up having an awesome night!!!!

Spent way too much at the pokies and they never paid out well when they did. For a $5bet on a feature it paid $18 I spent $150 and got only the 1 feature on the Gangis Khan machine. I feel ripped off. Very locals oriented pub

Don't call and check for any information. The call goes through to Melbourne and you get false information. Food took a very long time (45 min) to arrive and was delivered to our table too slowly. Will not be back and will be sure to tell others not to go here.

Can't order over the phone and pick up for office orders, you need to drive there order and wait, or go back once ready.

- Order online (there is no way to order sides of gravy for the chips that come with the meal, or other options except to remove things from your meal)

When I think of a "pub" this is what I imagine. Looks like it hasn't changed much since the 90s and I mean that in the best way possible way. Classic. Good food, good specials, good beer, good service. It's an awesome local, and I pray some "genius" doesn't decide to gut and refurbish it because it will destroy the soul of the place.

Had the best time here at a music event, loads of parking, very clean facilities, staff were very helpful , bar was really good, quick fast service

what a great place to see a live band .no more driving to the city ,getting ripped off for parking then walking to the venue.the free car park here is massive the concert room is huge ,great view if you are sitting or standing,yes it's a little run down ,but brings a nice bunch of people to it .1 thing the reno for the loo's is way over due .hope you get a lot more international bands playing there .

On Monday the 12th of September 2022 I attended the wake for Kevin Wilson, my first husband and father of my only child. The venue staff were friendly and attentive, There is plenty of parking at this venue. The event was enjoyable in memory of Kevin with his relatives and friends. Some travelled a long distance to attend this event.

A nightmare if you live in Luprena Street when an event is on. Challenging even to get in your own driveway.

The lunch meals are what you expect from pub/club food. Good prices and good serving size.

Mansfield (of Rock) is the bomb event. I've been both times and the staff through-out the entire tavern are great, so friendly. Food is tasty and quickly delivered. LOTS of parking.

Booked a reservation but unfortunately did not dine in at Mansfield Tavern on Friday 15 January.

We took about 5 steps into the door before we were yelled at by a female staff member to get out as both our young boys (under 12) were not wearing masks.

According to QLD Health, you do not have to wear a face mask if you are a child less than 12 years old. We were only going by their directions.

Understandably, if a private indoor premise requires everyone (including children) to wear a mask, all the staff member had to do was ask politely. However, she could not shoo us out quick enough whilst pointing her finger for us to get out the door like we were a pack of dogs.

We always carry spare masks in case we needed it for our children but she did not give us the opportunity to do so. Had she did, we would not have wanted to as she was so rude about it.

We were very appalled by the staff member's behaviour, and hope she is provided with feedback regarding her lack of professionalism. We suggest staff acquire proper training so no one has to go through what we did.

UPDATE: A review was made directly to the Tavern almost immediately after the incident but since no-one cared to respond, the same review has been posted on here.

Went for a paid lunch, requested extra salad dressing, told by bar staff cant guarantee extra dressing ? Ah paying customer ? Pretty sure extra dressing wont break the bank

It a great tavern, I like it.

My wife and I ordered at the same time, similar sized meal yet there was 30min wait for my wife's meal after mine had come out. I ordered some calamari and it was bland, tasteless and not seasoned at all. We normally love the food here but today the ball was severely dropped.
