Took like 1 hour+ to get our meals and the place was only half full. Got the Parma, it was pretty average for the price. Definitely overpriced for the service and quality of food you get.

Took an hour and 20 minutes to receive our food. I was with a heavily pregnant friend and when I asked multiple times about where the food was. I was met with "yours will be out soon" if they'd have told us about the wait prior to ordering we would have happily gone elsewhere. Shocking service. Average food.

Monday night is steak night don\'t bother.

Ordered the steak medium rare it was grey, dry and flavourless all the way through. To call it very well done would be kind.

The salad and chips were good.
Not one staff member popped past to see of we were happy with the meal.
Party of 8 not one steak cooked close to medium rare.
bar service was great, the venue is pleasant and clean.

Come on it\'s not that hard to cook a steak as ordered.

Winter Saturday Round
Played Mansfield Golf club on a chilly Saturday in winter, and it was a really enjoyable experience overall. The course is impressively well maintained for the season - fairways were in good shape and the greens deserve real respect. Don't underestimate them! They were true and consistent, but challenging enough to keep you focused.

One thing to keep in mind: if there's a tournament on, the pace of play can slow down a bit. It wasn't unmanageable, but worth knowing if you prefer a quicker round.

The staff were excellent - friendly, helpful, and made you feel welcome. The clubhouse was also a highlight, serving plenty of good hot meals that really hit the spot on a cold day. Great place to warm up and relax after the round.

Overall, Mansfield is a solid choice for winter golf: well kept, welcoming, and with greens that demand your attention. Worth the trip.

Chicken parmigiana night is such a great feed. Nice variety, working my way through the list.
