Went out with a bunch of friends. The food was well priced and very hot and fresh. Staff were very friendly. Busy place but the service was amazing. We will be back again.

Allowed us to purchase drinks for a group of 5, took our money and then asked for ID, this was at 4pm on a Sunday, we were at the pools and did not have our wallets with us, they told us we cannot stay and as we had already consumed a portion of our drinks did not give a full refund.

So they will take money off people who they do not know is of legal age and kick them out after already serving alcohol, makes sense to me.

Terribly rude staff.

More bouncers than patrons, who are hostile and arrogant. I've worked nearby for over ten years and this is by far the worst reception I've ever had, simply to sit and have a beer, and I was here 3 weeks ago with no issues. Avoid this place as long as the 'security' are here. Get better employees.

The security here are on some kind of power trip. It doesn't make sense when the manager is called and struggles to find an issue but the door man says no entry. They are "very strict tonight" and if you have any problems you can "take it up with the police at Surry Hills". It's a complete waste of time and ruined a lovely, sensible farewell party.

Well i was surprised at how nice upstairs is. Great placement, for when your inbetween late and early shift work and home isn't an option. Also better on a Sunday Monday morning into dawn to catch that train home of quick one for the trip before hitting the beach. Could do with some nice tunes maybe encourage a bit of dancing.. and having someone able to make my martini espressos would make it much better too and some seating outside at night

Rang up to see if they were playing the Netherlands vs USA match (11am Thursday) and the person on the phone sounded a bit unsure but said yes. They then rang me back and confirmed they can definitely put it up on the big screen. It's a big screen above the bar so doesn't matter who comes in etc you can still see the whole screen. I had the Chicken Schnitzel special with VB tonight. It was the 1st time I've been here. It was great. I look forward to doing it again. ??

An up market hotel, that caters for the majority of expectations when, wanting a pleasant experience to choose,from a wide selection of queasiness, beverages.
Located in a safe and well patronised modern establishment.
I would highly recommend the Madison Hotel

Food is very average, burger bun was a tad burnt and chicken was dry. Beers were nice and refreshing but I dont think you can go wrong there.

Open until really late, cold beer and pool tables available. Sometimes the bar service takes a little too long even tough the place its empty but nothing too bad or stressful

Your management need to evaluate the type of people you hire as "security". Tried to go in on world pride parade night and was denied for no reason besides being accused for drinking. What do you expect people to do in your venue? Drink water and juice? Was not belligerent nor had any alcohol. Tried to place a complaint on "Jose" and was not followed through. It's no wonder you have low ratings for your venue. Not LGBTIQ friendly. Avoid this place!

Great little pub in the city loctaed perfectly to Central Station and the new light rail. Only 2 stops from Moore Park. A great place to start the day before heading to a day at the cricket

It's ok. It's open 24/7. It has cold beer spirits pokies a clean loo and the staff are usually ok. It's right at Central. It will do.

Don't come here if you work in hospitality and want to stay late. They kick you out for the day crowd regardless of when you finish. Bad management for to disregard other hospo staff. Maybe another greedy Pokie only venue.

It's always busy as they are open 24 hrs and the location is great, just across from Central train station & light train to Randwick & Kingsford.

Attended the New-ish sports bar upstairs. Service was poor, at times rude then non existent. Just don't bother. If you promote an event do staff it, if not close the area as downstairs was dead as opposed to double the patrons above. Strangely enough all the staff were gathered downstairs. Frustrating experience

Bar staff are friendly and helpful.
They also serve free nibbles for patrons who are gambling.
There's a smoking room.
The venue is open 24 hours (except between 5am n 730am the bar is closed for cleaning)
There's even a pool table.
There is adequate outdoor dining too.
The food is well priced and they serve decent sized portions.

Was walking out even after 3 hrs of playing the poker machines and noticed a few machines in a no smoking area had a go at them and left $1200 in front after hitting a major and a minor in the same feature on my first spin. Staff were super friendly but not to over the top will definitely go back

So rude and arrogant staff and girl working there, we finished our shift at the Airport and was going home, decided just to have a quick drink at 5am in the morning on Saturday after work, the guy charged me for the beer and forgot to charge me for my vodka so I told him that he hasn't changed me for my drink, he got rude and cranky instead apologetic, that I offered him money for my drink, then the girl came in I asked for second drink before we head home, being polite I said you must had a very long night knowing that we worked all night, she rudely said not your business, so I took my drink and walked away, we were told that this is your last drink, we were going to home after that anyway, what a rubbish place to go again. Dont bother going there the staff is so hostile and have no manners.

My partner had his wallet stolen and the security (Wilson) was so supportive of some men that we are sure stole it. All I asked was 'hey, have you as seen a Tasmanian wallet? And they were so defensive.. the guard got aggressive and defensive. The other security and patrons were lovely. However having a wallet stolen it is under camera and obvious who it was.
Will not recommend due to the security and certain patrons.

Don't know what to say about this place. Reschs on tap = good. Incorrect shape schooner glasses = bad. Big screens for watching footy, little space in bar, most area dedicated to pokies. Very close to central which is a bonus I guess. The bar staff gave me some chicken chips but no one else, perhaps they sensed I was nearing a limit. Best thought of as a pub of convenience.

Great place,to play pokies and have a few drinks the staff are very friendly and they really look after there customers by regular checks incase we need something.

Surprised by the size of the meals, 12 aud day and night. The beef was good, they must work a bit on the faculties .

Solid $12 steak and chips (on 7 days/week for lunch and dinner) - keen to try the other $12 mains and $6 share plates

The $12.00 daily specials are well worth the value of the meal.

There is drinks, pokies and the staff are greatCouldn't ask for anything better plus the Bistro is amazing with a nice rooftop bar

Think it's open 24/7, u don't need any ID, will get a few meatheads u don't want to meet, but that's always a chance, good for early morning wind down or start.
