The customer service is great, food was amazing decent size, 3 ladies that is fostered on today friendly polite and willing to have a chat.

Will definitely go back there again for a meal

I was treated to dinner at this place by some friends. The tables are really clean and the doors are nicely air sealed. There's an exterior area but no smoking fumes can get inside.
I was happily surprised to see how child friendly this place was too. Wide walking areas also reduce any accidents happening. The exposed ceiling area gives the place very spacious feel to it.

Okay, now the chips and burgers are really special. Zero grease on the plates and on my fingers when I pick up the burgers. The burger is a really filling one. Really requires 2 hands. A worth-your-money multi-chomper. The beets inside mix well with the nicely grilled patty inside. I'm glad gravy here has been made without excess sugar or salt. It's perfect. Enjoyed the meal so much we bought takeaway for someone who wasn't able to join us.

I tried the fish and chicken schnitzels and gosh they're yummy. Not too hard, not too watery. Not too salty and not too crumby. A very clean and well presented meal. Also, I had an apple cider given without a cap, this means less noisy rubbish on the table. A small detail I appreciate, especially when kids could easily pick it up and bite it, as I have seen happen twice elsewhere. I'm glad small details like this are considered.

Went here for lunch last Friday for chicken Schnitzel, wasn't to bad ,but the crown hotel camden has alot bigger ones.

$15 steak,chips & salad or..mash & veg.
It was deliciously good!
& they have a $5.50 BEER SPECIAL!?????'???'??

Lockies is our favourite place to have a good feed with the fam. The food portions are great and the quality of food is amazing. Customer service is absolutely wonderful! all staff are all so accommodating, friendly and they all make you feel like part of the family. Had the schnitzel, rump and burger. The schnitzel was so so good! the texture crunchy and chicken super moist. The beef burger was amazing and so was the rump. Hands down the best pub in the area. Way better than Willowdale in my opinion. This place is soo underrated.

Just had a function in the beer garden. This place is a hidden gem. A little rough around the edges but can not fault the service or food. Compliments to the chef. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was super friendly. All our guests loved every minute of it. Anyone looking for a great function space should consider here. Thanks again for making our night so great!

What a surprise looks a little rough the exterior yet small / cosy inside and clean (NO sticky tables here) a pet peeve of mine. The food was cooked perfectly 300g T bone our plates returned empty with compliments to the chef. The bar staff ladies were lovely also very welcoming and well mannered just lovely happy people. We will return with the family this time as they also have a lovely outdoor area with heaters and large TV.

After all the years (20)of driving by on the way back and forth to work,I finally stop in for a peek,pitstop before it (thinking)closes down!!!!!No way or any time soon, Looks very deceiving from the front!!Reminds me of the old "Sweeney's "ingleburn. Great classic Aussie pub. Been here several times with great experiences. New chef had just started so when we visited the full menu was not on offer. Hoping that the new chef will continue the tasty food and generous portions.
We had the fish and chips which was a great portion lightly battered with no oily feel and thick cut chips nicely salted.
Look forward to our next visit

The Pub itself is great. The food let's it down though. No one likes chips that look & taste like they've done a few laps of the fryer & the southern fried chicken burger suffered the same fate. The 3 stars are for the pub. The bistro gets zilch!

I love this place. Great food at value prices. Large servings. Great music (classics from the sixties thru eighties). Rustic atmosphere. Big screen TV's to enjoy the footy while you eat.

Decided to go on Friday nigt for a couple of drinks celebrating friends birthday. However, one of staff greeted as we were not welcome there. The staff attitude towards us was same until we leave. Worst customer experience ever. Probably treating us differently looking at our race.

Decided to go to have lunch at Lockies with my parents as we were passing by. Ordered the ribs, schnitzel, rump and seafood basket. Firstly, the service was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and welcoming from the moment we got in. The food was fantastic also. Ribs were very tender and fell off the bone, schnitzel was moist and crunchy and steak perfectly cooked. Everything was very tasty. This place is such a hidden gem, a must if you are in the area.

$13 for this calamari. 5-6 shoestring size squid slices. Does anyone think its worth it? we couldn't find any cutlery or napkins on the table or girls didn't serve with the food. Girls were looks like so busy to ask. Last time we got baby squid with enough quantity and was nice. Classic burger still maintained the quality. If you could improve the quantity and quality of food and service, locals like us would definitely come back.

Exceptional service, very friendly, welcoming and efficient. Very large servings and delicious food. Ordered the lamb shanks which was moist and fell off the bone. The chicken schnitzel was equally delicious and the garlic sauce on top was very fragrant and creamy. The rump and t-bone were cooked to absolute perfection. The sticky date pudding and apple crumble were insanely delicious! Very cheap food and drinks ..... cocktails probably the cheapest in Sydney! Definitely will be back!

Update: Went back again today and had the steak sandwich, salmon, salt and pepper squid. All dishes were fantastic. The steak sandwich was on par with Kirribilli ??'????'????'??. Kevin has phenomenal customer service skills. ??????

Great place for a classic pub feed. Very generous with servings. Beer is reasonably priced. Not the cheapest in the area but the service and hospitality is always great

Heard a lot of good feedback about this place and went in for a drink around 7pm On a friday (13 nov 2020) was told that kitchen closes at 5 pm! On a friday!

Didn't even get a bowl of chips to go with the beer. Ended up leaving after 1 beer. Better call before you casually walk in expecting food.

Very nice place, traditional Australian style, great food, great price. Well done guys.

Lockies Hotel is a local Pub. Went with a friend tonight and well we had a great catchup but should have had the steak & chips but instead we got the Prawns dish and Chicken Noodle dish.. No words... Just grateful for the catchup with a friend whom I had not seen for a couple of years.

I would like to say a big thankyou to Lockies for allowing us to end our Burnside Toy Run there and also for there kind donation. It was a pleasant end to a great day. The food was great (as usual) and so was the service. The staff are always pleasant and we have a great time every Friday night, despite covid. See you again Friday 7pm Cheers!

Good old school pub with real locals and real food. Loved it

Had my first night out here in about three years, great old school pub amazing staff, there was a bloke there named Bailey who served us all night.. I hope management sees this because that boy needs a raise!!! So polite, felt like he waited on us hand and foot, made the whole experience 100x better for us!Will be coming back!

Nice little country style pub worth a visit

This is what I call a great old fashioned but modern style pub. Great pub fare, excellent value drinks, a friendly atmosphere and 80s retro music playlist. Just Watch out for the entrance since it can appear suddenly for non locals. There is a large car park out the back but you have to approach from only one side of the road. Drive slowly so as not to miss the entrance. Maybe a larger sign would help?
