Out of town, we got lost trying to find it. There were cockroches in the bathroom. Went to have breakfast the plates were dirty and wet.. smelly too. Packed up and left.

Lunch was fantastic for 3 people but one person was forgotten so his lunch arrived after we all finished.

Haven't had a decent meal here in months
We come here every Friday night and the food just gets worse and worse.
If you are serving chips with a meal at least serve them hot not dead cold.
Let's talk about the tasteless lasagne that was on the specials board.
I think they forgot to put the tomatoes in it as it was just pasta sheets, meat and cheese. Not a stitch of sauce or flavour.
Let's talk about the sweet chilli cheese bread......... looked like a dog had vomited on the plate. Did they soak the bread in water before putting the topping on ? By the time the kid walked it to us all of the cheese had slid off the soggy sloppy bread into a slop pile in the middle of the plate. Couldn't even eat the rubbish.
Had a quarter of the lasagne and a few chips.
Safe to say we won't be back any more unless you can find someone who can actually cook a decent pub feed.

Rooms cosy more blankets be better as I don't like to sleep with AC on. Cold rooms bit noisy and a vibrating noises all night. Food A+ and beer nice fresh and cold. Nice little pub

Very big, well appointed dining areas with views to the hills. Inexpensive, tasty meals. Not crowded, on Tuesday evenings. Very nice for a mid week dinner.

Great location and parking..spotless clean.good outside area for children to play well fenced..interior updated and keeping the old world charm..staff friendly efficient and really amazing...food selections great and delicious...good choice of beverages available

Booked a table just in case it was busy, but lots of tablesto choosefrom, kitchen staff were well informed about their products they use, as ingredients. front ramp is steep, but the 1 in past the back gate isn't as step. Both ramps after u get inside have a what would have been a step, but now a ramp as well. Back is the better option as both back ramps aren't as steep.

Nice pub, food was good. Friendly staff.

I ordered the beef steak pie with mash potato peas and gravy, thinking it would be a slice of a large pie, it was just a normal pie you would get from a pie shop. That would have been OK, but pie was hot, the mash warm and the peas cold. Definitely not worth more than 2 stars.

Stopped in during a Sunday afternoon out for a motorcycle ride. Decided to stop and have lunch.
Staff were friendly and approachable.
Menu was decent and seemed affordable.
Decided to go with a $10 basic cheeseburger in order to not be too full when we continued on our ride.
Unfortunately, the cheeseburger took around 40 minutes to arrive, the burger was for some reason made with two top parts of the bun, and the meat patty was dry and about half the size of the bun.
The outdoor area is massive and populated by a few park bench style tables and chairs, plenty of room for family visits.
Despite the disappointing meal, I'd be inclined to return and try some other item from the menu

Big servings, good service and they will run a bus to come get you if you call ahead.

What's not to like. Honest country pub.

Food is alright, pretty hit and miss. Ordered a large schnitzel last night and got two smaller ones which is fine but they were both cooked completely different to each other, didn't look the same or taste the same and I ended up throwing one out and not eating all the sauce, was disappointed to say the least, but their crumbed steak is usually good

Nice lunch at a cheap price. Good variety of beer choices. Will go there again.

Wow definitely don't eat breakfast if you're going here for lunch! The meals are huge and we had 14 people all order something different and everyone enjoyed it.

Went to lunch on Australia Day. Spotless clean hotel, great food, great cold beer, lovely staff, spacious areas to eat including outside where they will still bring your meals. Thank You.

Great hospitality , very clean hotel , meals were big servings but you should pre book for meals during covid times , huge variety of beers on tap and large range of local craft beer on tap , plenty of parking right out the front of the hotel.

Had lunch there today was not up to standard and expensive for a pub lunch. We have often eaten there on our way home from Maitland or Newcastle because the meals were great in the past and reasonably priced .We also waited over an hour for our meal.

Lunch was extremely enjoyable. The staff were amazing and especially very helpful when I knocked my coffee over.

Absolutely delicious meal. Spring Rolls were so yum. Crumbed steak and mash potatoes, best mash I have had in a long time. For a country pub this has some amazing craft beer on tap. Couldn't recommend this place high enough. I have been here a few times and always great meals.

Good food and great beer garden, it's a huge paddock with great views of the mountains. The magpies can get a little frisky though, they like to hassle you for food! They are quite tame and you can hand feed them. Nice staff too!

A nice place to stay. Wonderful views from the motel. Rooms are pretty basic but it doesn't pretend to be a 5 star joint. All the staff and owner Warren were lovely. Late lunch of simple fish & chips was great! A small downside, my room didn't cater to a female putting make up on having Poor lighting and a blurry bathroom mirror . Other than that, I would stay again.
