Bar staff were lovely. But the food wasn't, come here for an anniversary dinner and got food poisoning. I got a pasta and the boyfriend got the normal parmi and we both ended up sick. do not recommend this place.

Lovely old pub just up the mountains not too far to go from Penrith wonderful outdoor beer garden area and you can't get away from the massive screen showing footy, tennis, cricket, whatever you like. Beautiful meals come out of the bistro, we highly recommend the food, the varied and varying menu as do our friends who come up here all the time! Watch out Emu Hall 2773 and Laughin Boy!! These guys are GOOD!!

Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. The chicken burger was tasty and reasonable for $23, the $34 rump steak was super tough and definitely not worth it.
The young lady serving at the order desk and clearing the table was friendly and helpful.

I used to come here regularly with my family and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This week, all vegetarian main meals have been taken off the menu, meaning that we can no longer dine here as one of us does not eat meat. The front of house staff were so kind and understanding but I am beyond disappointed with this decision.

Love this pub! It is always a great option for lunch when going between Sydney and the upper Blue Mountains or the Central West. It's large and modern with an excellent bistro, great coffee, cold beer and very friendly staff.

We were a bit disappointed and hadn't been there in years, so we were happy to go again, seeing we were in the area. But the food let us down the chips were very hard and cool, and the salad had more cabbage than anything else.

I had the chicken caesar salad, the Lettuce was nice and fresh and they gave a generous serving of chicken. So I was happy with my meal. My partner had a steak with chips and salad which was super tasty ??'??

This pub has absolutely fallen to pieces in the past 5 years due to security and unfair treatment. Bring back the old Lappo where live music and packed nights full of vibrant locals were a regular fun thing. Now they make enough money off the pokies they don't care about treating customers with fairness and respect: Bring back the old lappo.

The tuna special I had today was one of the best meals of my life ... just my style I guess, however, it could have been a little better an experience if there was Mountain Culture on tap ... it is the Blue Mountains ... and it is one of the best beers in the world.

Ok at best , not much atmosphere, typical pub, for adults. Personally I don't think kids mix well with drinking and gambling, but that's my choice, I believe there are more appropriate places to have a family meal.

Speedy service and generous portions. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Our chicken parmigiana, vegetarian nachos and kids spaghetti were very nice.

The food and service were bang on. Kids meals were reasonably priced and included ice cream and a drink. Cost of living has increased so understand why prices are high but would be nice if they had a midweek special under $20.

Good staff and the meals were better than expected. The dining area is very loud and filled with gambling-related displays. Fine for drinks with some mates but wouldn't go back for a family lunch.

Wonderful, wonderful experience. Lovely front of house worker took our order - I have particular dietary requirements and the chef took pains to fulfill my request, resulting in a beautiful meal that met my needs exactly. A gorgeous outdoor seating area, with heaters made it a fabulous eating out experience. I highly commend the staff for the concern, painstaking and cheerful effort to help me. I love this hotel!

A gem of a pub that's easy to miss because it's set back off the Great Western Highway as you go past Lapstone. A big airy place with excellent food that's a great place to stop after a hard day's sightseeing in the Blue Mountains.Very popular with the locals who love their rugby league on the big screens.

I have come to this place many times over the years and it is a nice place to sit with the family or with friends or even alone and have a drink, a social and a bite to eat. On this occasion I dropped in for lunch with my son and the meal was nice and the desert was yummy and really had a relaxing and tasty lunch on this occasion.

Just moved to Glenbrook. This is my new watering hole. Friendly staff, great beers, yet to sample the food, but it seemed very busy last Friday at lunchtime, so that's a good sign.

I love the pub. I came down for footy again last night. Careful COVID19 protocols in every aspect. Usual very friendly service...had my usual drinks. PLEASE, I like my coffee or hot chocolate HOT and I always ask for hot but it is always just warm. Can someone who knows how to provide HOT drinks please show others...ta. For those who don't know, the dining room is great, too. Dale
