Beyond excellence; beautiful food, amazing atmosphere and bubbly nice people. Nothing more to say than just it's an exemplary experience. Will be returning for that rump steak and sure and turf.

Had a wonderful experience here. Food was great, chefs were lovely, Clay has an amazing ability to stack plates. Will definitely be back. Did I mention the brilliant shine on that cutlery ?

Monday was steak night which came with beer or wine. How great is that?
Only fault was the extremely long wait for the food. There was a party of 50 ppl outside who ordered before all of us inside so our meals were slow.

A great place to eat. The nicest staff, the food more than reasonably priced, very efficient service. Would definitely go again when in the area.

I can definitively say some staff here have racist slurs to say to me. On a number of random times I was in there.

Unprofessional and rude. I've experienced on several occasions now.

I've been sworn at one time by a staff just a few days ago for buying soft drink.

Just last night, as I went through a sliding glass door. I heard a staff utter a racist slur intended for me. From the bar. It was not the first time, too.

I was willing enough to have a conversation with a few of them, yet the unprofessional and rude treatment continues.

I don't think it is a mistake but intentional.

We visited windang pub last night and had such a good experience. The whole place is decked out to cater for everyone and all ages. They have multiple places to eat, inside and out! We were so amazed by the play area and outdoor seating for families to sit and eat with the kids run around. The employees were amazing and incredibly
Kind and accommodating. Couldn't recommend this place enough. This is by far our new favourite place to eat.

We have been to this pub a good few times recently (in town for a couple of months). Whether it has been lunch or dinner, weekday or weekend, we have found the food to be fresh and fabulous and the quality doesn't change. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the place is always clean and tidy. This is a great pub for a really decent feed. The Mon-Fri lunch specials are extremely good value too.

Had much better experiences than this time. The musician was louder than last time, unusual he was set up in a dining area. It took nearly an hour for the meals to come out. My wife had a chicken burger which was more fat than chicken. My steak was cold and had no flavour. I also noticed some dubious cross contamination practices from the kitchen staff. We are regular visitors but will think twice about coming back.

The fully gated play ground and new outdoor covered seating are absolutely amazing! My son (1 year old) absolutely loved the play area.
I gave a 3 star rating because we all found the food below average and over priced.

Pub its self is nice and staff are friendly. Tables were sticky and not cleaned. Ordered steak medium rare and received a very well done steak which was very disappointing as the pricing is quite expensive. Kids area was good.

Best pub ever. I don't understand why this place is so quiet?? Greeeaaat pub food. Up there with the best you can get. Great staff!! Very accommodating and a good chat. The outside play ground is the best I've been to for kids. Can sit right there next to them as well. It's outside but undercover so good even when raining. The place has been recently renovated and is super nice as well. Toilets are immaculate. More people need to go here.

Visited the Pub last week, wow what a great Job they have Done, nothing like the Old Windang Hotel. It looks fantastic and caters for all , big tab area , bottle shop , nice pokies area if ya into them. Massive play area for the kids. We were 5 adults and 4 kids under 10 and they loved it and we could see them from where we were sitting. The Dining Room is huge and comfy. The Food is good but i personally think the price point is a tad high. I had the steak sanga and it was good, the Wife had Bruschetta and it was to salty . 3.5 stars for the meal and 5 stars for the Hotel it really is well done. Heaps of parking out the back. Would i eat here again, Yes i would.

We came as a group and were enjoying ourselves, not being noisy, then out of nowhere got refused service. On top of that the food was rubbish. Never go there!

Great place for the kids, really have great activities and climbing equipment, can cater for parties of any type. Food was exceptional and varied, thumbs up.

Nice pub, Food was mostly good except the mushroom sauce was jelly like and had a weird taste. The surf and turf was nice even with the unusual tomato type sauce. Oysters Kirkpatrick were ok although they were smothered with bacon and a bbq type sauce not the usual worstershire.

The bistro at Lake Illawarra Hotel is great. Meals all tasted good, and service was very friendly. The owner greeted us and gave my son a free ice cream. We will be back.

Nothing plesent about the place, rude service expensive and zero atmosphere.

Empty pub on a Saturday evening and didn't feel welcomed by the staff. We had a group of 9 and ended up leaving after 1 beer. Pretty disappointing.

This place was not welcoming nor friendly at all, the food that we got was undercooked causing food poisoning, and to top it off there were mice spotted outside the establishment. Very disappointed with my experience and will be passing on this message to anyone who I come across to avoid this cult like pub.

The price of 2 beers was $15.... It's 25% cheaper at other better accommodating venues. Pretty obvious why only a hand full of people were drinking there

Came for the local pool table and I must say it is well kept. Cues straight and plenty of good chalk. Table runs nicely. However the beers were not clean by any means. Purchased 150 lashes and Great Northern and the taste was far from a well kept beer line. 150 lashes was sour and great northern tasted like burnt toast. Venue needs to maintain keg lines better.
