Wasn't very happy with my meals. I ordered a rump steak medium that was very well done. My partner ordered fish and chips that turned out to be a seafood basket. And most places give you 2 sides not one, so got charged an extra $6 each for salad. Won't be going back unless things improve!

Worst meal I have ever been served. The people with me had steak or chicken schnitzel and these were OK but nothing special. My nachos was a plate of soggy splodge. Do the people who prepare the food ever taste or try what they are dishing up?

Food was pretty good too - we opted for a few side dishes. Salt and pepper calamari wasn't as good as I'd hoped, but the bruschetta was fantastic! Need to come back and try the pub classics. NRL on the big screen too! Great atmosphere ??'??

Family friendly bistro and good-value yummy meals! There is a kids playground, colouring in, and even some healthy meals too. The steak sandwich has a generous serve of steak. And bonus if you're not driving you can kick back with a drink!

Ordered the 16$ lunch rump and mash. I asked if the mash was real as it was grey. Was told by cook that it was but had excess liquid in it and couldn't be helped. Steak was perfect. I didn't eat the mash slop that was on my plate.

My Thai beef salad was an absolute disgrace. Beef wasn't cooked or marinated, not much salad full of bean shoots and no dressing or lime

I have had several meals at the Kooringal Hotel during my many visits to Wagga Wagga over the last eight years. The meals have been well priced with generous amount of food on the plate. On my current visit to Wagga I had a meal at Kooringal Hotel. I was disappointed. The menu has changed. I ordered battered baramundi (fish). The fish was cold the battered chips were soggy. Another meal order at my table was grilled barramundi, battered chips and salad. The fish was a much smaller fillet than my order. It was also cold with soggy chips. The kitchen at the Kooringal Hotel will have to improve before I will return for a Pub Meal. One star is all I can manage for this revue.
Update: The meals have improved since my initial report 3 years ago.

Was a nice place to have an expensive drink, the food was great with big portions. Facilities and bar were modern and nice and comfy, just the drinks were pricey a can of coke was ridiculously high.

We got the courtesy bus there and back the bus driver was very friendly. We were in the camping room and the bar tender Nathan was a very pleasant surprise. He was the best. Only down side is all there pokies are in the smoking area. Not real pleasant for non smokers

Seriously the worst, most overpriced pub meal I think I've had in the last 20 years. Simply nothing nice to say about it - at all. $38 is dear for a scotch fillet - then I was charged 6$ for salad, mash and sauce!. Pepper grinder was broken and dropped all over my steak - chef didn't care.

Went to a 50th birthday party in the function room. No cost for the room,just have to provide the food etc + leave the room clean.

Excellent customer service. The lad with the rabbitohs face mask was especially courteous and a perfect example of what superb customer service entails. Well priced meals, excellent value for money and just a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a family meal

Should have lunch menu! Expensive. Staff were helpful. My meal was OK not worth $25

Enjoyed this pub, food was good. We took a booth on a cold night and the heater kept us warm while we are and drank most of the night. Good spot.

Decent sized pizza and toppings. Great play area for the kids. Was able to relax at a table next to the playground.

Great all round venue. Perfect set up for family and functions. Food is really good.

Normally the food is great but on this occasion my Portuguese chicken burger was burnt. I'm talking charred black burnt. A little disappointed to say the least

Good place to have drinks in Wagga Wagga. Price is reasonable. Staff is friendly and I was offered free drinks. They have good side dish options for drinks. Even though their pizzas are not the best but large enough for about 4 people.

We really like the decor, we ended up sitting in a cabana which was interesting. The only thing that let the place down was the staff seemed really unhappy to be there and any request made us feel like we were a burden. (we asked for a cloth so we could wipe our table down)It may have been an off day for them, I will try again on my next visit to Wagga.
