Goodlooking bar in a very nice neighbourhood. Unfortunately, the cocktail was very disappointing. I ordered a Whisky Sour, but what I got had nothing to do with a whisky sour. No eggwhite on it, way to much whisky in comparison and it was served with ice in it + in the wrong glass. I didn't try any complex cocktail, just a classic one and it still wasn't what it's supposed to be.
The atmosphere is very nice, the staff is very friendly, but unfortunately quality of drinks is more important in a bar.

Apart from needing fans as it was very Hot Kinselas hosted a great venue for our 78ers Xmas gathering. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming.

Large pub with lots of spaces. Downstairs pub like area. Upstairs nightclub.
Basement has toilets. Very average.

There is a pool table. I have been when they have a DJ.

Cocktails are not good. I would suggest you order something else.

There are no normal beers on tap - the closet is Carlton. We went there in daytime - I think it's another world after dark!

Nestled in an old church the gorgeous art deco interior sets the scene for a great gay bar.

The pool tables are great, the beer is cold and the service is so friendly.

Good local pub with a nice area in front so you can watch the world go by. Pool tables if you are into that . Haven't eaten there. A reasonable selection of beers on tap.

Lovely spot for a drink and a meal with friends. The Sunday roast for $30 was better than expected, so was the fried calamari $18 which was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside.

We go to Kinselas every Sunday and the service is wonderful- especially Saba- professional, friendly and customer service is 5 star- as I don't drink alcohol, Saba always mixes my jug of lemon, lime and bitters perfectly- and my husbands jug of pure blond never disappoints! Please avoid the security guards as much as you can here. My friend and I came here to eat before heading up into the venue, and the security guard would not stop bothering my friend and leaving such unnecessary comments that I felt I might need to warn someone. Stay safe on a night out, guys, please.

We have always enjoyed drinks and dinner at Kinselas and The Courthouse and as a new member enjoyed the perks. We decided to have dinner only to find the kitchen closes at 8pm. Apparently it's on the menu but truly what kitchen in Sydney closes at 8pm. I'm an international city this is absurd. Aren't businesses trying to bring back Oxford St ????

Bar staff are terrible. Stood at the bar for a good 5 mins while 2 of the staff made cocktails and another 4 washed glasses. No common sense.

They also seem to confuse payments very easily, so you'll quite often end up paying for someone else's round.

Also, they serve the person next to the person they just served not who's been waiting the longest which drives me absolutely crazy.

Not recommended.

I travelled to the place and upon arrival got refused entry for absolutely no reason. Patty the Irish manager at the door had no grounds to refuse me. Completely irrational, would not recommend

Very disappointed. Extremely expensive drinks, almost $12 for a basic. Need to download some stupid app to save $1 per drink or access happy hour. Comedy there was good, but drinks were not worth it. Better value pubs around

On a rainy midmorning about two weeks ago ( yes it still a normal rain then) stopped here for of all things a double shot full cream cap!
On placing our order we were informed by the server that while they could make us our order they weren't actually baristas!
How refreshing, honesty! And the coffees were fine, and they didn't even flinch when we both asked for four sugars!
Clean tidy, smelt fresh nice atmosphere and catered for both smokers and those that don't! 7/10.

Wow service is outstanding here. Trivia nite gr8, shame I'm not! Leather night was fantastic, I was very moist. Jackie Daniel's is an outstanding proformer.

Nice & relax bistro bar during the day, but could gets more grooves and dance from virus djs at weekend nights life.

The Basement Saturday night was amazing thanks for a GREAT NIGHT KAMAL your the man.

Had my Engagement party in Middle Bar on Sunday (16th May) and I have got to say, the team here at Kinselas had absolutely MADE MY DAY!!

From start to finish, the whole process was so simply, lovely, straight forward and easy.

Robbie went above and beyond to ensure my day had everything it needed to run smoothly and efficiently.

Nice size crowd and good bar service. A little pricey though compared to other venues nearby

Lovely that they were open on Christmas today and so friendly. The staff were super nice and I enjoyed my jug of Heineken with a friend. Were careful with Covid stuff but still not impolite about it like many other venues. Hope with the development plans that the same friendly neighbourhood character can be retained. Also really appreciate Kinselas for continued support of the Bear community.

Worst gaming lounge in the city. A lady there gets angry when you ask for water or any service. This has to be one of the most unwelcoming [---] rooms. I go to like 10 in the CBD and all the staff are usually fun and cheerful. You dont have to be bubbly 24/7 but at least be polite to customers at the venue that are giving the company YOU work for money so they can pay YOU. You are in CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never coming back again.
