We popped in here randomly on our road trip ( really just to use their toilets).. When we saw their menu, we decided to stay for lunch and we were so happy that we did.. Their food is amazing and the prices for their lunch time meals are only $16.90 each. The serving sizes are really big... Great place to pop in for a meal..

When ordering I was served by rude staff who clearly didn't want to be there, I was interrupted with "pay now" before I finished my order as they just wanted to hurry and leave. When ordering my drinks the server didn't even talk to ask me what I wanted they just stood there and also didn't look like they wanted to be there (this was on a teusday, so it wasn't that busy). Meals came out very quickly but I paid $19 for three tiny spring rolls which tasted below average. When mains arrived both mine and my friends chips were stone cold and my fish was burnt and tasted gross. My friend got the southern grilled chicken burger and it cost $25 she said it was one of the worst burgers she has ever gotten the chicken had no flavour and if it wasn't for the pineapple on the burger she wouldn't of eaten it at all, she also got the pineapple lime and coconut margarita and it was foul she couldn't even drink it lucky she got coke (that she could drink)
Overall wouldn't recommend, meals cold and service unfriendly

This hotel is so lovely. The atmosphere was pumping and such a nice set up. Staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. We had one error with our order and the staff were so wonderful about rectifying the situation and getting the food out asap. One of the best steaks (Sirloin) I've had. Loved the fish tacos for an entree!!

Great vibes in this pub, all the meals were delicious and good sized servings. It was busy but the meals were still served quickly.

Although the seating and atmosphere were spacious with natural light, the food was over priced for the quality. You order yourself at the counter and need to get your own water from the tap, but have to wait for them to bring you a glass. The garlic bread was really good, and the salmon was decent, just over priced.

Parking at the back was ok but only one disabled car space and the delivery truck was parked in front of it, that needs to be sorted out.
Easy access to the door with flat walking and a ramp, flat inside.
Great food, came in a good time and was hot, good servings and very helpful friendly staff. Great amount of seats inside and outside, very clean and good decor, enjoy.

Not sure if this is a restaurant or Tyre shop.
The chicken schnitzel wasn't edible it was that rubbery, service was rude and below par.
Made a reservation but no one actually knew where it was. Very disappointed, such a good location, but so far below par.

Amazing waterfront location. Most of the other bars and or restaurants in this town are very small with limited opening hours ...not here! During the off peak times it's a great place to sit for private quiet meetings or just a catch up whilst u watch a game and or have a drink and meal. Huge place with comfy lounge chairs, outdoor eating areas. Self service and table served foods and drinks and packed on weekends with live music and a huge stage for entertainment in the beer garden.

We went there for lunch and had across the table steak, Thai spring rolls, parmi, chicken, pizza and salt and pepper calamari.
All of it was delicious and the service excellent and happy. We all got good vibes though those who had the scrumptious cocktails maybe got more than the rest of us.

Pretty good pub with lots of different sections, including a live music area and outdoor area. Good selection of beers and wine. Food is the normal pub fare. Reasonably priced.

Good atmosphere Pub in centre of Kingscliff. Booked ahead & got a table where requested. Staff were exceptionally helpful including the food & bar staff. Apparently a new Manager & the place seems to buzz. All meals were a good size & quality for the money. I had the Salt & Pepper Calamari which was tender and a large serve. My friends Steak was apparently cooked as requested & very tender. My wifes Salmon Salad was perfect & a good mix. Pizza was large & we were able to get a takeaway box, which was a bonus. Good range of Tap beers. Food & drinks can be ordered from the bar. Food is brought to table when ready. Can definitely recommend this place, we will certainly be back again.

Having a cold one at The kingie pub few of the old Boys in having a beer. Great old pub good. Bands great location

We are from Port Macquarie and this restaurant catches our attention, because of it beautiful location.
We had ¹Cheese Burger and my wife had ¹chicken Ceasar Salad.
The burger patty was average because it's a bit dry and lettuce was not in its best.
Salad was amazing my wife loved it.

Fantastic venue. Great location. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere in the beer garden. Steak sandwich was very good. Bun toasted and chips crisp. Sirloin tender and well cooked. You can see why this place is so well loved. Well done.

This is a great pub for live bands and sports events. Some current huge Australian acts and some from back in the day play here on the regular. Think Spiderbait, Hoodoo Gurus and the DMAs. Massive protector screen for the footy as well. Get in early though it's a popular pub for a reason. On the big event night there is usually a long queue.

Went up for the Flood Relief gig with Flume, DJ Seinfeld etc... The venue is awesome, surprisingly good bar service for how busy/packed the event was, great set up for an event too with the stage outside under the shade sail. I know that even without an event on I'd revisit just for a meal and some drinks, had really good vibes.

Great family space, lots of seating option, gorgeous sunspots in the winter time. Food getting better, a little pricey although fresh and wholesome.

Cracking pub with amazing food and nice options for families. Wide selection of food and beers on tap, good location, plenty of parking, what's not to like.

So we have found this gem in Kingscliff. J simply made the best drinks for us today. Espresso martini margaritas and the whole shebang. I would even say best espresso martini in New South Wales.Entire staff was very helpful world-class service five stars here

The Kingscliff beach hotel is an excellent central hub for locals and tourists alike with plenty of good specials throughout the week and daily drink specials between 4pm to 7pmFor newcomers and young people, the hotel is usually quite busy on a Friday and Saturday night, there is live music on the making for an excellent atmosphere though now that the nightclubs are opening up it may be a good place to start the night before going out or of you want to keep it a relaxed night just hang and enjoy the tunes

Hotel is great but.. last Saturday night I went to see Swansea. Hotel gave him a big rave and build up so we thought we were in for a good night. The add said he started at 7pm and went through till 10pm. Well that was not the case at all. Mind you the couple who started it all off were pretty good but then Swansea happened. What a major disappointment. He didn't sing his first song till about 8:45pm. He was too busy being a star with a parent fans, taking photos to even tune his guitar. Not that it would have made a difference he played out if key anyway. Bloody disgusting, we walked out

A very ordinary meal - Thai pork belly salad-$23 per head. Pork pieces were dry, hard n chewy, salad was very ordinary- sweet dressing at bottom of plate , salad was bland- NO THAI FLAVOUR at all- No coriander- no ginger, no chilli that we could taste/ hugely disappointed!

I love how chilled out this place is, perfect after a day at the beach and you just want a decent pub grub and refreshing drink sitting outside to finish the day off. Perfect for lunch time however haven't checked it out in the evenings but I believe live acts are played which would create a nice atmospher. Will defs be back!

Nice venue, with lots of seating options. Shared three pizzas with some family, all of them were amazing and we really enjoyed them. The service was okay, they didnt really go above and beyond, however it was very busy. They had a musician playing who was good, however it would would have been nice if the music wasnt so loud while it was still early. The pub was quite loud, so probably not the place to go for a nice quiet dinner. Perfect place for pizzas and drinks though, and maybe listening to some live music or watching some sport. Will definitely return for a pizza and some drinks when I am back in town.

This is a great place to eat. I have enjoyed every meal I have had here. It is a pub, so it's not quiet, but the atmosphere is good, tables are clean, seats are comfortable, and the service is swift and friendly. Good place to bring the family. Great menu and reasonable prices. Good value all round.

Such a yummy lunch at the sun, near the beach!

Not bad. Will be better when covid is over.
