Good pub.. had a Tooheys old with coke.. hit the spot. It was great pricing too for two schooners each

My wife and I both had the bangs and mash for lunch, it was sensational. Great service from friendly staff. Located in the Main Street it's a great spot to eat

Being served here I had to think twice as I thought I walked into a Karen's restaurant with the amout of hostility and distain coming from the staff especially 1 female staff member.
Food was cold and not eatable. When informing staff I was spoken to with venom and asked "what now", then told I would get a refund and ordered to present my card asked "how do I expect to get a refund if I didn't have my card". This was without asking how I paid.
The toilets were dirty with no locks on doors and no toilet paper.
Did I mention that the place was not that busy.
If anyone can get a hold of Gordon Ramsay please ask him to pay these guys a visit.

The service here is amongst the worst i have ever experienced. Patrons are spoken to with hostility and that was before we had a issue with the food. When clearing our table a female staff member smashed glasses on our table that went on and in one of our parties jacket. There was no apology and the clearing of the glass was haphazard leaving glass everywhere. It was not very busy but all staff appeared to be very stressed and unfriendly. I ordered a nachos and it was stone cold with the cheese not melted. I took it back and when returned to me the cheese and sour cream were not melted. The nachos was still cold. When pointing this out i was spoken to horribly. Dont eat here.

The food was actually decent, salad served with meal was fresh and had a really nice light dressing. Fish and chips were fresh and tasty. I've given 3 stars because we just ordered garlic bread and fish and chips - it took 47 minutes for the buzzer to go off and when I went to the counter they only had cheesy garlic bread ready which we didn't even order, we ordered the normal garlic bread. 47 minutes for the wrong garlic bread was a bit disappointing and then it took another 12 minutes for the fish and chips, that's 59 minutes total. People that had come 20 minutes after us got their food before us and they all had big meals.
I understand mistakes happen. Just giving some feedback on wait times especially when it wasn't that busy.

Came here tonight for dinner. My husband and I both ordered the seafood basket. It was $28. so we knew it was not going to be big but could not believe how bad it was. I think everything was frozen. The fish tasted like mush and was the size of a fish bite, the calamari rings were tasteless and prawn cutlets were a non event. The highlight was the dressing on the mixed lettuce salad!
Very nice staff but overall, this place was dreadful.

Food was decent- satisfied the pub food cravings. Customer service was terrible- not at all friendly or welcoming. My partner and I felt quite out of place and uncomfortable. Wouldn't return.

I did not stay here however I've eaten here multiple times. The meals were a good size and worth the price. I was a bit disappointed that my schnitzel was a pink colour, although was still edible. The bar staff were lovely and I love the choice in drinks. Great atmosphere.

I ordered the nachos with pork. They were on the menu as a starter, though I think this could easily be served as a main. The nachos were flooded with an almost rubbery cheese sauce, making the chips soggy, and the pork was oddly sweet. My sister got the summer salad, which also had an abundance of sauce. She did get it without feta and onion, so this may have affected it, though she was disappointed nonetheless. Atmosphere was dodgy, I think it just needs some music to make it feel more welcoming, especially given it's a bistro/bar, a bar atmosphere wasn't really there.

In the absence of informing the NSW Tourist Information, I had to give notice that last night I had the very worst meal of my life. I'm not kidding
,it was absolutely dreadful. It was uneditable and the responsible cook should change career .
It was billed as ' Alday,Roast of the Day'
Chicken Maryland . It was burnt to a cinder and swimming in a sea of gravy , the ' veg ' was direct from a tin, and both pumpkin & sweetcorn were also burnt.
Our other meal , today's special, Barramundi was equally unappetising, whereby the fish was totally overcooked and tasteless. The accompanying noodle/salad arrangement tasted absolutely horrible.
Fortunately the ice cream parlour over the road was still open when ,after complaining we emerged from this landmark Hotel . This at least allowed us to take the taste away.

Don't be deterred by the Aussie Pub layout when considering the bistro here. We had both a steak and Barramundi fillet main meal and immediately new we had struck gold in a town we had just arrived .
Well done chef .... your " pub " food is far above the normal.

I didn't stay here but did eat here. Food was really good. They had a few decent vegetarian options. Food wasn't particularly expensive and drinks were reasonably priced. Staff were fantastic.
The restaurant was nice and clean. Seemed okay for kids. Plenty of outdoor seating.

Great pub. Balter XPA on tap, always a winner. Dinner was nice, pork & fish tacos, parmigiana and wings - enjoyable,
good pub food, presented well!

They have a grazing board on the menu, looks amazing and would be perfect for arvo drinks with friends, will be back to try.

Honestly a nice lil place but staff are pretty meh bar one awesome lady & the others are ?
The food was ok nothing to great & very minimal servings of chips & salad which would normally be a win but we did wait over half a hour for the food & wasn't given the right sauces so had to leave the small outdoor section to get it!

Overall will not be going back seems better for a drinking hole tbh

100% Recommend this pub! All the staff were so lovely and accommodating during our stay. We called such short notice as somewhere to stay while passing through town with 7 of us and they were amazing. Thank you Kiama Inn.

Took an hour to receive food, which amounted to dry nachos with some cheese, overdone beef and a dollop of sour cream - no salsa as advertised on the menu and, though thankfully I was told this before I ordered, no guac was available on the day either, saving me the extra $4 it would have cost. Food wasnt worth the wait, staff were friendly and apologetic about another member of the party receiving the sauce for their food a solid 20 minutes after receiving the rest of their plate. Not worth it for the food, but probably fine for drinks.

Carl washed my dishes to perfection, me and my family have never seen such clean and white plates in my 76 years of dining out here. I wholeheartedly recommend asking for the Holmes service as he has yet again outdone all previous experiences at this establishment. Thank you Carl!!

My wife and I had dinner at the Kiama Inn Hotel on Tuesday September 13, 2022 and it was an absolutely brilliant meal. My wife had the chicken schnitzel and I had the lamb shanks. Both of these meals were cooked to perfection and the staff at the bar were good people. I highly recommend this establishment!

We ate there today and the food was amazing! I'm had the fish with coconut sauce, husband had the steak and the prawns. Perfectly cooked and well presented. Well done to the chef.

The pub food was a total disappointment. Ordered at the bar and the food took a while to arrive. The 3 plates of steak was a disaster it was hard like rock even though we order medium rare. The chicken Caesar burger was quite alright. Kids meal came with ice cream so we had to inform the bar to serve the ice cream after our meal. Waited ages for bowls of melted ice cream which tasted like smoothie instead ice cream!

Great little.pub in the heart of town. Good selection of beers and good service. Perfect place for a cold one after walking the Coastal Trail Gerringong to Kiama and waiting for the train home...

Came in on a very quiet Tuesday night, mid November 2021. Staff we're very friendly and helpful. Beer was cold and affordable. Unfortunately our dinning experience was not so good. Took close to a full hour to get our food and then all 3 plates were average at best, and they weren't busy.
Bathrooms were pretty clean.

Our meals were "extra crispy". No sauce was provided as they "were out". $35 for a dehydrated steak chicken and prawns. Bit ordinary. Beer was cold though

Beautiful area and gorgeous pub but unfortunately the niceties end their. The staff on the other hand was rude and abrupt, because we were out of the area we were made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome . It was as though the whole Kiama was aware of out residential status and we were on display for onlookers to watch. Not very inviting at all.

Sensational pub with Great Food & very Classy. Modern Bar.The Publican(Ivan) is a Top Bloke & very Professional & Friendly Staff.The Venue has a very cozy Outdoor Beer Garden & TV Sports Meals Area, plus a Pokie Room.They have Awesome "Live Bands" play there every Weekend, so if you are travelling through "Kiama"

Nice clean pub but a little too trendy for me. Bar staff need to be familiar basic spirit brands even if they don't stock them. A Chivas Regal is a scotch. Three staff did not know what it was.

My last visit to Kiama inn was definitely a great experience. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and nice especially the bouncer Phil who went out of his way to help everyone. I would definitely be coming back and recommend it for a great night out.

Unfortunately the welcome to the pub was wafting cigarette smoke from the gambling machine room.... the place had no charm nor atmosphere. One drink and out of there - there were much better pubs in Kiama during my stay

Shocking steak for lunch. Seemed to be possibly sous vide then seared to serve. Was really disappointing. They also were registered for the NSW fine and discover when we visited at Easter.

Edit - thanks to the team for responding. I'd love to give you a second chance next time I'm travelling south with the family.

Very friendly staff. Good range of priced foods. Was sorry to miss out on the daily lunch steak special. They had just come off a public holiday weekend so I understand why they ran out of rump steaks.

I recently played there with my band and I can honestly say it's been a long time since I have encounter such an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Usually I'm greeted with grunts from staff who couldn't give a bleep for the musicians. So thanks. I can only assume your patrons are treated with same courtesy. Well done! Next time I'll be back as a customer.
