Strangely large pub for a sleepy town. Pricey but very chilled. Good place to drop in on your way thru to wherever!

Excellent food and very quick service.
Several seating areas to enjoy and in winter beside the huge fireplace would be awesome. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Rooms are being refurbished atm so will definitely come back in the future!

Best Parma I've had in my entire 36 years of living. I got the Indian Tandoori version.

This pub has great potential the new owners are in the process of rectifying years of neglect. The current chef is the best in the Upper Murray

Nice quiet little pub in the snowy mountains. Worth a stop for a beer if you're in the area. Have many fire places around the place also.

A good place to stay if your passing through town. The rooms were clean and comfortable reasonably equipped but are certainly in need of some updating and loving care. So I wouldn't stay if it's for more than a couple of nights. A plus is it is next to the hotel which was good for a meal and a drink or two. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would suggest the motel ok for a short stay, just don't expect too much. The pub could also do with some updating but the staff meals and drinks were all good.

External buildings are a renovators delight, don't due justice for the decades of service to development of the snowy scheme.

No hot vegetarian meal options available except chips (menus had wedges/cream/chilli sauce, pasta but neither available and limited self serve salad offered.

Great feed, affordable prices for a rural village, and friendly service.
The parmy selection was choice.
The beer garden was lovely and shaded on a warm summer evening, and a great safe spot for the kids to run around.

Had the porterhouse it was delicious, cooked perfect, I couldn't finish it all, Proper pub meal

Dropped in for 2 meals and a few drinks.

The staff are friendly and chatty if you are up for conversation.

The locals are friendly too, happy to leave you alone or engage in a chat if you need to ask a few questions.

Excellent quality, generous portions, amazing variety of sides to choose from. Complimentary coffee and tea. Great atmosphere and will definitely go back, Kosciuszko beer is a great addition to the experience.

I stayed in the standard room and the room was large and really clean. Awesome hot shower and great heating.
Sat next the fire at the pub and had a big affordable feed. Tops.

The food was very good but the place needs a complete make over. So just drop in for a feed.

Just enjoyed Christmas Carols combined with a visiting Bag Pipe Band. With the Khancoban Dam in the distance and the surrounding hills I could just imagine being in Scotland.
