Couldn't split pay, took 25 minutes for entrees to come out. Had no idea what was Gluten free on their menu when asked, no one looked like they knew what they were doing, customer service was honestly rubbish no one smiling and it wasn't even busy. My son's spaghetti tastes like water and tomatoes, my other son had grilled chicken and it was dry and disgusting. And my meal just tasted liked avocado sour cream with garlic I got the beef snizchel with stable topping ...chips were the best part of my meal to be honest.

Came here for a feed and was not disappointed, had the Mexican schnitzel and it was great. Price of the meal reflected quality and quantity. Will come again next time I'm in the area.

1stly the chef needs to learn manners and shouldnt be in the kitchen if he dont know how to cook a welldone almost cremated steak ( well done doesnt have pink in the centre)

2ndly the 4 patties on the 2 Mighty kelso burgers were that over cooked i couldve used them as bricks in a wall

3rdly the kids fish and chips were that oily that it made my son throw up when he got home

and then when i went back the 2nd time after the bartender / waitress said i couldve got a refund the higher manager stepped in and asked the chef if i was able to get 1, he swore that loudly that i heard it over the bistro ( he has major attitude )

A classic old pub, refurbished for modern appeal. Serves the common beers, and a few others. Good menu; the Caesar salad was excellent.
There are many areas where you can escape from gambling - the dining hall and a lounge bar provide relief; sure there is a sports bar and a gambling den, but you have to go ito them.

Went we where there today for lunch and the place was like people where smoking inside. The smokers area out the front has people smoking out side which i dont have a problem with im not a advocate for no smokeing but i reserve the right that i dont need to inhail someone used cigaret smoke. But all of there smoke from cigarets and exhaled smoke was flowing inside. The place stunk and being a non smoker it was just discusting. Unfortunatly we have already ordered food so we stayed and moved to the dining area but it was in there as well. We where not the only ones as another group dining mention the odour of the smoke was over powering. And they left as soon as they could as well.

Rooms were about ball park for the price. Food and beer amazing show me a better $15 schnitzel anywhere in Australia i bet you won't find it. $6 schooners happy hour hit the spot.

We had lunch here today. I had Linguine and my husband had crispy pork belly. They were both large meals and were absolutely beautiful. I didn't want to waste my linguine and the friendly kitchen staff were happy to give me a container to bring it home ??'??

Mate, if you want a feed, this is the go. I had the pork belly....not once but twice. Best meal in the postcode, and favourable priced.

Absolutely extraordinary burger one of the best and the chips are delicious there food overall is amazing. There interior is very comforting and the staff are extremely welcoming. Easily 5 stars top noch place

Been going here for years. The kelso was always a great place to take the family for a cheap feed or grab lunch with mates. It changed hands recently. Not sure what the new owners are tring to acheive but the menu has changed, prices have gone up and the food quality has gone down. Very dissapointing. Time to find a new watering hole.....

Had a voucher given to us that expires mid Dec, but when our party of 5 asked about using it they told us we can't as they are no longer taking them due to new ownership. Manager was very rude and didn't want to entertain any discussion, so we left and went elsewhere. Very poor form and will never return. Better hotels in town with better service.

Long black hair in my pasta. Two cold schnitzels. The bar tender acting as a publican. Preferred to argue in public instead of giving a refund. Poor effort from a local pub.

Good hotel. Food good and served fairly quickly. Good friendly staff. Parking a bit limited however there is street parking ob the corner street.

Went there for a birthday dinner and the food was great and the pub has a great feel to it.
Will definitely go back there again.
They only have 5 stars on here but I would give the place a 10 out 10

Great food and atmosphere, $2 pool has comps as well, foods priced okay except the $10 fish and chips a real let down when I see something called a special I expect exactly that but what I got was something basic poor frozen fish generic supermarket quality with Sad soggy chips. Not so special. Still a good spot worth a second shot.

Awful service. The kitchen need to realise that they can be heard from the front of the house. Order was all wrong and there were no customers in the restaurant! Front of the house staff kept whispering they would buy the next drinks because they knew we had been badly done by but the food was so bad- dry ribs and greasy fried food that we left after giving the kitchen a good serve of their own nonsense! You want to call me names from the the back of the kitchen little man! But when I open the kitchen door you run! Ha. And Im an old woman! Ive had good meals here before but the Chef wasnt in tonight. I dont think he should ever take the night off because the kitchen fell apart. Shame on you gentlemen!
