Me and my friends had so much fun doing karioke here. Such a welcoming and encouraging environment paired with good food and beer at an even better price. One of the few pubs that still has a bit of heart and soul and not concerned with trying to be fancy like most other venues these days - powderfinger

What a great venue for live music on a Sunday 2-6pm, perfect to round off the weekend. Staff were friendly and very welcoming to a mixture of ages and people. The Thai food was authentic and delicious, again served with a friendly genuine smile. Will definitely be back and share a fun arvo with friends and family.

Wow! The food is amazing. Just had the best snapper with ginger and shallots. I felt like I was back in Thailand.

Go for the Malaysian food. Best in Sydney. Grandma's Laksa House is laksalicious.

Fantastic Asian food, and well priced. Great place for watching bands on a Sunday afternoon. It's a friendly Pub, all patrons and staff are very welcoming. Especially the Captain. Aarrrr

Avoid this place. Dirty tables and the guy working at the bar was just eating at the bar in between serving customers. After ordering and paying for our food we bought two vodka, lemon lime and bitters which were disgusting so we couldn't drink them. A few minutes later, we were told they were out of vege burgers (unsure of how they wouldn't have known this earlier since it was so quiet with hardly any people there) so I had to sit there with no food once my partner's meal came out. His burger was average and the chips were tasteless. First photo shows how much food and drink we left behind because it was so bad.

It's not often I review but the food and customer service is great as well as value for money.
Traditional OzE pubs are hard to find.
This place has a bit of everything.
Make the most of it before the new fish market opens across the way

Scared to share this.. But this should be a heritage pub.. A protected site .. This is history that few people care about. I hope that a movie company finds this before it disappears in the never never land... It is movie material. The customers.. The people . The staff .. It is a gem. And thank you to all those .. And most of all the owner.... Much gratitude to you...

Old classic looking pub surviving the onslaught of Sydney City development. Full of characters. Great for an afternoon beer after a walk along the shore

Small corner pub, adequate for a beer.
Pretty basic old Aussie pub decor. Reasonable prices. Nice to sit out on the pavement. 1 Cider, 1 Light and basic Aussie pub beers on tap. Takeaway alcohol sales over the bar, a bistro and a gaming room.
