Had the best Chicken Parmi - ever! And the gorgeous publicans let me watch my Penrith Panthers play on the TV in the dining room. I'll definitely be back on my next trip south! ?

Could not rate my experience higher from their bartender James, after the excellent service he hopped on the party bus with us for the rest of the day and made sure we all got home and tucked us into bed.

10/10 highly recommend the service this establishment and their workers offer

Recommend the live music. Bartender James performed an acoustic version of flame trees by cold chisel and it was mesmerising. Thanks for the Jindera experience James

Cheap motel rooms out the back. Comfortable and quiet. The pub was cosy on a winters night, and great meals in the bistro. An excellent stopover alternative to Albury.

It's a shame because this pub use to be a great place with great food and nice friendly staff. Not so much anymore. Has been going down hill for a while now and after tonight we are questioning whether we will bother going back again at all. I get that you were busy tonight but no excuse to not be friendly to your customers, specially when the mistake with our food was your mistake, not ours. You're in the hospitality industry, it's going to be busy, you should still be greeting your customers with a smile, specially when you have made a mistake and particularly when you are the owners of the business. Pretty disappointing.

Meal was beautiful and fresh , I had the chicken schnitzel which was amazing , staff were friendly and great customer service

The staff there were incredibly rude. I think it could do with some new owners. I will not be going back there for a meal again.

For the past 8 years I have kept trying to give the local pub benefit of doubt. The meals are very hit and miss with the rudest customer service I've ever endured. Today was the last straw and the last time I'll ever try again. Such a shame as Jindera is a small town that could really do with a friendly and hospitable pub run by welcoming publicans and staff

This pub needs some current reviews. I read a few reviews which were quite old and wondered what it would really be like. So, I'll happily give the Jindera Hotel 5 stars. The staff were fantastic. Darren was very welcoming and the ladies working there are efficient, friendly and professional. The food was certainly above average at very reasonable prices. This is one of the better country hotels I've eaten in and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Good on you Jindera Hotel. Well done.

We went for dinner Sunday night and I rang the pub the next day (Monday 11th Oct) and mentioned that my calamari was chewy and difficult to cut. I said I was just wanting to let them know and didn't want a refund but just thought it would be good for chef to get some constructive criticism. The female staff hardly let me get a word in and when I asked her name she hung up! Australians really need to work on hospitality industry especially during these unprecedented times. We always enjoyed going to the Jindera pub but not so now.

There's ample parking space and the pub interior is spacious, cosy and clean. Our order (for 10 people) was served within a reasonable waiting time and the food plating presentation was excellent. Great dining experience esp with their great tasting food & good customer service.

Absolutely lovely. Totally enjoyed the visit. I would totally recommend anyone to visit. Perfect place, perfect service.

Horrible food, even worse customer service. Staff were nothing but rude. Waitress yelled at table of 15 due to a miscommunication from Kitchen, clearly not a customer issues. Waitress Did not return however owner/father (suspected) completely dismissed the waitresses attitude and rudeness... stating "yeah, well it's been a busy night".
From there the staff were cold and abrupt. Didn't enquire why meals were still barely touched, just stating "oh that's odd" when told meals were horrible.
All in all an experience that I'm sure won't see any of the 15 customers return.
If I could give 0 stars, I would.

What a lovely Hotel, went for dinner Saturday night and ordered the Chefs special of Thai Rissoles with rice and veggies, it was absolutely amazing.
Many thanks to the chef and the hotel's staff for a great evening.

Rating this as a traditional small country town pub dining experience. Parking right out the front and never an issue. Food was your standard solid pub fare with Parmis, steaks and pastas. Food was good but not brilliant. Service was again OK but not excellent. The pub aesthetics and ambience have not changed in years so could do with a freshen up. Wouldn't drive out to Jindera for this pub experience but if you were in the town and just after an average pub meal it hits the spot.
