The Thai green curry mussels I had for lunch today were top shelf, absolutely divine. Every element of this dish was full of flavour. Try them next time you visit the Tavern, you will not be disappointed

Just popped in for a quick lunch.. BLT with chips just so tasty, chips crispy .and let me also say the young girl that took our order was so polite ..great smile and made us feel so welcomed also wishes us a great day when leaving..such an asset to your small but inviting tavern we shall return. 😊

I don't normally order a steak when I go out as I don't want to get disappointed by what I feel I can cook better at home, but this time I did and man, I was impressed.!
For a pub feed, this steak was high end, restaurant quality. 10/10.
It had to be a good cut but more importantly, I feel it was cooked by someone who knew how to get the best out of it. It was matched with a Dianne Sauce that also had time put into it.
I definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed dinner here on Thursday evening. We sat on the deck as we brought our dogs with us. Meals were delicious and service was excellent. Definitely returning!!

Wow what a great place to come for a meal, so impressed with the customer service, Thank you Jess our server who went above and beyond for us, the atmosphere was so so relaxing, family orientated, historical themes, loved their decor reflecting the fishing community, very very clean facilities, food was absolutely fantastic, we had battered barra and garlic prawns wow! Portions were so generous, perfectly cooked loved the home made tartare sauce, chefs deserve a massive thumbs up! We will definitely return to try your other dishes, we also noticed other patrons dishes that looked absolutely delicious! Paying for what you get??'?

This was our 2nd visit. The food was good, even though the accompanying salad was dry. The men's urinal was totally unique.

Great steaks with a variety of toppings to choose, had the special homemade apple crumble, delicious and lovely presented. Friendly staff and excellent service, worth a visit. ??'?

Have always loved this place - the absolute classic Queensland rural style tavern - the food has always been great and the staff helpful. Depending on the day and how busy, meals can take a little while - but thank goodness there is always some friendly people around for a chat.

Huge thumbs down to the marine volunteer rescue meat tray raffle, happily take the money for tickets and not announce that they are doing the raffle. When asked " sorry we have done the raffle all 4 tables plus myself did not hear as they did not even come down to the seating areas to announce the raffle is being called. No cheers or screams for the people who won either... so is the raffle even being drawn????

What a wonderful little pub!!! The Monday Barramundi Special was more than I could eat... every mouthful wonderful!!! We tried the Bali Calamari entertainment entry... also awesome!!!! Thank you.

Friendly, professional and yummy!!!!

The Vegetarian pizza with pumpkin consistently makes the omnivores jealous. Great stop for a feed after a day on the water ☺️ I'm just always undecided between beer and coffee.

What a great pub. Country style with friendly staff, great value for money food, awesome outdoor areas, and play area for kids. Will definitely be going there again.

Staff were lovely and very generous to us today. Our meals were so lovely and the young man was incredibly kind to us and all the customers. Love the fish tank and the theme it's so relaxing open and inviting. My daughter was so happy to look at the fish and have some colouring to keep her happy while we dined. Definitely would suggest this place to everyone! Great for families.

OMG! German food for Octoberfest. Quick and efficient, nice atmosphere. Generous food servings, never had cold sauerkraut, but it was nice.

Great picturesque spot, go past the canefields, like north Qld and bit like a place time forgot, tho not by the fishing boaties. Easy boat hire. Excellent meal at local pub. Good hairdresser. Van park by the inlet, pretty when tide in. Impressive old trees abound. Very peaceful.

Great atmosphere in this venue created by friendly and helpful staff. Sunday session had a live band and the local fishing club hold a multi draw meat raffle that is really good value, along with a chase the lucky card to finish. The food was well presented, reasonably priced and yummy. There are areas to suit your individual taste including dining, indoor, outdoor etc...

Great little pub with a warm atmosphere. Good beer prices & the food is amazing. I was pleasantly surprised to see that as well as the usual pub food they also had some Japanese food such as Ramen, which is one of my fave foods. I had Pork Ramen which was one of the BEST I have tasted. Salute to the chef!

Very yummy food and excellent service. Was severed by a young lady named Emily. She was very welcoming and lovely to talk to. 10/10 service!

Great local venue. Great service. Friendly and warm staff. Good facilities. Good sized outdoor area with a large kids play area. Food was on point and worth going back for. Beverage prices were very reasonable also.

I cannot fault our meals at all from the price and service to the quality and taste of the meals and desserts. I am so glad we found this place we will certainly be back. Hats off to the chef here. Superb !!! If I had the option of more than 5 stars I would happily give it. Thanks guys

Unfortunately the food was not as good as we were expecting. Garlic bread didn't really have a garlic flavour. My partners steak was grisly went cold quick and wasn't well done as requested, Diane sauce watery and didn't really taste flavorful. My seafood pasta...the seafood itself was good, but again other then the taste butter, it didn't have any flavour deepth .
Upside is the customer service was good.

Great live music on Sundays. The toilets are cut out of barrels which is so cool and unique. The restaurant is amazing for something so far out. Would totally recommend!

Seriously a good spot. Good food, great for kids, cheap drinks and awesome live music. Unfortunately the old duty manager behind the bar is rude and the locals (gail) are unfriendly tell people not to come back

A funky little pub full of character that supports live music! They could do with updating their beer selection though. I didn't all that much choice beyond the four or five mainstream brews that have neither character or much flavour.

This is a very nice tidy pub with a beautiful atmosphere and a lovely menu. Meal was great, prices are average, drinks are what you expect to pay at most pubs. One tip do not leave this place until you have a sticky date pudding it's to die for, overall well worth the trip down to Jacobs well for lunch or dinner.

Great food and thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Jacobs well tavern. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the visit and time spent to have a meal here.

Lovely little tavern! The lady who served me was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Great fenced in kids playground making it easy to eat and watch the kids. And the food was delicious with very generous servings. Can't wait to go back :)

A really nice local pub that has a small country town feel to it.The staff were very friendly and did a good job.The food was nice with generous sized meals. It was fresh tasty and well presented.The kids meals were good value and the kids enjoyed the meal.Nice art on walls was available for purchase and the large tropical fish tank made for a nice setting.
