What better place to spend St Patrick's day! Knowing it'd be crowded, we opted to arrive at the end of the lunch rush. Unfortunately, it was obvious that the staff were exhausted after that, our arrival and request for food met with short patience and an unpleasant supervisor/manager barking orders at a frazzled junior staffer, trying to help us. A good thing we'd had a snack before arrival, even our hungry bellies grumbled at the 1+ hours wait for food. No wait at the bar though! Lots of Guinness, the bar cleaned out of irish cider and most things irish! Despite the horrid weather, the band and later DJ made for a pleasant atmosphere to spend our day/evening!

Yummy fresh and hot food we enjoyed, thank u. Delicious sauces but could of done with a little more as we were having to lick clean. Probably too many chips, but maybe someone likes to fill up on chips!
Best atmosphere where we chose outside in sun, away from noise and protected from wind. So many spots to sit otherwise. Live music on and so nice of a venue. We will bring our friends next time.

The staff was friendly and bathroom was cleaned. After lunch we were for a walk along the river and it was absolutely beautiful, with the yatchs completing the picture. Highly recommended.

We are not locals to the area, but we visit frequently. We always come for lunch, cold drinks, ice cream for the kids with their meals. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Beautiful location with live music, and relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Sometimes I bring the drone and photograph the area, as it is so beautiful. See you next time soon. I have been told forever to come to this place. I arrived on a Monday around 2.15pm. While it can seat, I would say over 100 people, including myself, was less than 10 people.
My service to begin was great, young lady served me, made my cocktail, took my order.
In the next 30 mins I watched 6 other people arrive, order & get their meals before me.
I eventually went to the bar to ask if they had forgotten me. I was told by the girl I originally was served by that they weren't able to find me.
5 mins later, my food came out. Pumpkin salad. The girl pretty much dumped it in front of me & said, "Yeah, they lost ya docket or something." No apology, nothing.
I'm pretty underwhelmed by this place. If they can't handle 10 people, I would hate to see what it's like when they are busy.
I ordered the pumpkin salad thinking the maple & cinnamon would be nice, however it seemed to be more cinnamon than maple.
Wasn't impressed at all.

Old Irish pub vibes. Very wood fire and thick carpets type feel. This venue lends itself to cold winter days and hot summer cocktail drinks. Situated in the marina surrounded by boats is the perfect setting for drinks and dinner. There are the usual pokies and gaming. The open lawns can be hired for functions. Nice oasis out of town.

We found the food absolutely delicious, with good size portions and reasonable prices. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Although it was very busy, service was prompt.

Stopped by Harrigans on Calypso Bay for a quiet sit on the bank. Had a lovely cider,and listened to the and play.
There was a long line for lunch, so we opted to just have a beverage and relax.seemed tobe. Lot of happy patron's.

I see my niece hasn't left a review. I think it needs to be said, dined there last month & ordered chicken schnitzel burgers, whilst 2 servings were acceptable, 1 had raw chicken in the centre. Waitress was very apologetic, manager could barely manage a "sorry about that"!!!
Although they did offer to cook another meal or issue a refund, she chose the refund, there was no real apology! Definitely won't be returning.

I have been looking forward to an ice cold creamy Guinness for a long time, and was not disappointed!

Harrigan's was quiet on the day of our visit. The food was almost perfect (not as hot as it could have been, so that's the only reason for 1 star off)

The location was great and had a good variety of indoor and outdoor seating.
We had the Beef and Guinness with mash and veges, the Wagyu Burger with maple bacon and caramelised onions and chips, and the pork belly with mash and veges.
$108 including 2 pints of Guinness and one pint of Shandy.

I thought this was very good value and will return again for sure.

The food was outstanding for a pub restaurant. It was reasonably priced , tasty and well presented. We came on a calm warm Winter's day by boat. Very busy jetty but managed to get a spot. We reserved a table for 10 outside. Great decision as they had a 2 piece band playing covers from the 70s 80s and 90s.

My fiance and I came to celebrate our anniversary. This is our second time coming.
I was hoping to get the salad I had the first time we came.
However, felt a little disappointed as I didn't get the same salad I got last time. Not only it didn't look the same but was also missing avocado and there was less chicken as well.

Views were amazing as seaside dining mostly is.
Customer service was a lot to be desired! A group of 5 of us they stuffed one of the orders and left my mate waiting until we all finished our meals before his came out with no apology from the wait staff. The manager was apologetic and gave us a free round how ever I get the feeling customer focus isn't their strong point. Meals are very overpriced for what you receive two hours after we had to find something out to eat.

Really disappointed with the food, ordered the Ribs and wings meal, wings were nice, ribs average flavour and very chewy, wife ordered the Crispy Skin Pork Belly, skin was soft, asked for a new one, second one looked a little burnt.. but still soft, had a side salad but couldn't eat that because it was drenched in a sour Vinaigrette, and trying to eat all this on a wobbly table. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, live band was good.

Great family place good food plenty of room great area.
Bar service is slow due to not enough bar staff. More bar staff would reduce long queues waiting to be served. 3,stars

A hard call for a large pub with many staff and large to very large Customer numbers. Sometimes the food is excellent and served in a timely manner and others long delays and cold meals. It's worth a visit especially quieter times. If you like a guinness maybe give it a miss if it is busy. Meals are standard pub fare, good parking and atmosphere

Had an Xmas work function there recently with a set menu, the table set up was really nice and definitely better than the internal decor. Food was better than expected and the service was great. I have been here before for a lunch and that was pretty decent too from memory.
One thing which almost lost a star - no one asked how we liked the steak done. For me it was medium and I prefer medium rare, but it was excellent for medium so I left it five stars.🙂

Great pub nice and relaxing,food is great, small menus , service is great, prices are realistic. Not to noisy for a conversation when catching up with friends. They also have a courtesy bus for locals which is great for us.😊??'?

Enjoyed our lunch there yesterday (09/09/21). We ordered the Creamy Garlic Prawns, Salt & Pepper Calami and Sirloin Steak with chips, salad and pepper sauce. The entrées, salad and chips were surprisingly good and well presented. For the price, it's good value, but if you're a rare steak eater, I would recommend ordering blue, as ours were both medium rare. It was a very tasty steak all the same.

Overall, staff were friendly and service wasn't slow.

There's a boat ramp available for boaters.

Also, It has a good patch of grass big enough for a helipad / landing area. Could comfortably land an R22 or R44 safely. This would create an invitation to new clientele and a bit of excitement for seated customers.

Maybe something the owner might want to consider. After all, it's in a lovely spot.

The Place is Awesome. .just need to bring back Potato Wedges guys cold wintersdays potato wedges will be fantastic ideas. Or should say any days !!!

We had not been to Harrigan's for awhile as the food was only average. The place has had a facelift in areas and I believe a change in ownership. What a difference! The food was delicious and served really quickly....I mean within 5 min of ordering. Our party of 5 had different meals, all of which were very tasty and very well presented. We'll be back again.

First time we had been here. Being a Sunday , it was very busy , but the meals came out promptly & we had absolutely no complaints about the quality or the price. Staff we encountered were happy & eager to please. Lovely outlook. Next time we will come earlier to get an outside table.

Had no idea this little gem was here! What a find.We came on a Friday night for dinner, great atmosphere, friendly staff, because building and lovely location. We both had the ribs, absolutely delicious! We live so close - this will definitely not be the last time we visit. To Harrigans!!!

I just had a great, perfectly cooked salmon, very fresh salad and chips.Thank you chef! The steak and the pork ribs went down well too. We will be back. The service and and atmosphere made an enjoyable Sunday lunch.

Group dinner, table of 12. A range of meals were ordered. Meals were all delivered in a reasonable time frame. Parmi's were popular, Neptune Salad and Beef salad were well received. The Pork Belly was a hit. Overall a very happy birthday group.

I had lunch at Harrigan's with friends and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Wait time was very reasonable and the food was delicious and quite well priced. Nice relaxed vibe and cheerful staff combined with the high quality food meant a very satisfying experience.

I have previously dined at Harrigans and enjoyed the food and the setting. I went last week for lunch and the experience was 2 star. My daughter and grandson and I waited over one hour for our food. We ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari. When I ordered the food i was told that it was a small serving with the calamari ONLY so would I like to order chips or salad. I decided to order salad. When our meals finally came we had calamari on a bed of salad and then a side of salad which I had paid for when salad was already provided with the calamari. We therefore waited for over an hour for calamari and salad that could have been served in 10 minutes. There were 2 large groups and there were not enough staff to cope with the demand. Very disappointing
