All the security guards were super nice except one who thought he was the time lord from doctor who and wouldn't let anyone in way before the 10pm cut off.

This guards attitude will not go down very well with the wrong person one day, might want to work on that mate.

Don't advertise you close at midnight when you refuse to let anyone in after 9:30.

Great location but wait times at 2pm on a Saturday are lengthy. Avoid the Thai beef salad. It is entree sized (was actually smaller than the kids meals I purchased) for $28 ?

We recently visited here for dinner with a reservation and after being shown to our table were immediately abandoned by the staff who failed to explain to us how the ordering works - as it turns out there are 2 separate menus that require ordering in different ways. The food took 1 1/2 hours to arrive and was a solid 2 star experience, which matched the attitude of the staff who clearly didn't care about being there. There are far better options elsewhere in the area if you are looking for a decent evening

The food, desserts and drinks at the Cocktail Bar at the back are absolutely fantastic. The service is excellent and very quick. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We accidentally spilled a Moscato Wine glass and staff were very quick to clean it all up and bring us another one at no extra charge. Now, that's service with a smile. Well done, folks.

Stunning venue and views, however the food was average at best. 45 minute wait (understandable when its busy), but this included a serve of fresh oysters that could have been served up first. Potato wedges were soggy, and seafood pasta was really plain. Such a shame, the place has such potential but are really not set up to do high volume food in peak times.

I had a disappointing experience with the chicken parmigiana. It was truly terrible, perhaps the worst parm I've ever had. It seemed like a frozen product, as it was rubbery and completely lacking in flavor. Avoid ordering it at all costs!

The rooms, the food and the service = amazing.
Our one night stay started off with very helpful staff showing us to our room and providing us with two complementary drinks. We paired our drinks with an amazing brisket basket prior to heading out for a walk along the beach which was seconds from the hotel. We ended the night with an amazing dinner (wood fire pizza and $5 tacos) along with drinks and a yummy dessert. The staff are all amazing and super engaging, which made the entire experience perfect. We will definitely be back and staying here in future.

Good atmosphere & the pizzas were great - nice base, cheesy & generously topped! Only downfall was the service we received at the bar... the staff member mixed up the drink sizes & seemed bothered when we kindly questioned.. so instead of redoing the drinks, he just poured the original drink into a new glass. When you pay $10 for a drink, you expect it's poured fresh from the tap, not moved from glass to glass. Otherwise this was a great spot to watch sunset.

Had delicious food at the bistro. Been several times with my friend and it never disappoints. Today we had the special, Smoked BBQ short rib burger with chips and onion rings. Well worth the $20.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Huskisson Pub, and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my every need was taken care of throughout my visit. The menu was varied and had something for everyone, with plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options available.

The food itself was simply delicious - everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The pub also had an impressive selection of beers and wines, with knowledgeable staff on hand to help me choose the perfect drink to complement my meal.

But what really stood out to me was the overall ambiance of the place. The Huskisson Pub had a cozy and inviting feel, with comfortable seating and a relaxed vibe that made me want to stay all night. The live music was a highlight for me, and really added to the already great atmosphere.

Overall, I can't recommend the Huskisson Pub highly enough. Whether you're looking for a great meal, a few drinks with friends, or a night out enjoying live music, this place has it all. Five stars, without a doubt! Also old mate with the viking hair cut deserves a raise 10/10 service

Two day break in Husky. Stopped at the pub for lunch before checking in to our accommodation.
No complaints here. Food was excellent and prices reasonable. Beer is cold. Staff friendly. Outlook is amazing.
Atmosphere was dampened (pun intended), by the rain but still better than a day at work.

It is what it is; a Pub Hotel. The rooms are as advertised and we felt that the shower was in particular very good. Bed was firm but reasonably comfortable. AC works perfectly. Small fridge with milk for tea/coffee.
Pub downstairs is loud (we were there a Monday/Tuesday) but the noise abated around 10pm. Pub was decent, only schooners, so if you're looking for a proper pint go elsewhere. Food was alright. View is nice, location is great with guest parking. Staff were very nice and accommodating.

A great place for a relaxing afternoon lunch close to the water. Came here on a Sunday and it wasn't overcrowded. Music played throughout the courtyard and there was so many seating options both inside and out.
The food was good bistro quality. The chicken schnitzel crust was crunchy and the chicken moist. Oysters and fish and chips were super fresh. The pork belly had a beautiful crispy crackling although unfortunately the pork meat was slightly dry. The sauce which came with the meal helped with the pork dryness and was packed with wonderful flavours. I wasn't a fan on the wild rice, but the crispy kale salad was a surprisingly good addition to the meal.

Sad to say I've been in here three times each time I'm in Huskisson and they are rude every single time. I'm perfectly polite but the service is so rude. They only want to serve locals and they are really snobby when you're visiting or on holiday. The kitchen closes at 8pm and then no one is even there. So weird. The food is not very good and overpriced. The fish tasted fresh but that's about it. The chips were cold. I got a side salad and it literally was lettuce leaves with a tiny amount of balsamic drizzle on top and a few pine nuts. Leaving the rest of the salad dry and plain. Even the cocktails are not what they are described. No presentation. Just looks and tastes so cheap and unprofessional. I will not be back. I'll definitely head over to wild ginger as it's a way better restaurant, great service, and the food is amazing.

Beautiful pub with outrageous views over the bay. Food is excellent. Had the beer batted fish, fresh fluffy and flavoursome. The mushroom risotto is one of the best I've had if it had a small sprinkle of sea salt it would have push it to the greatest level in my humble opinion. Definitely be back.

Monday lunch special. Tender steak cooked to perfection. Walk up ordering and by the time we had redeemed the complimentary drink the food was ready. Friendly efficient service that we could not fault. Great location and views over the ocean. Most enjoyable and we will be back.

Lunch with the wife here today. Got a burger each, mine the Smokey Rib burger the meat was cold. Still tasted ok and even thought maybe that's the way it's meant to be. Questioned the table waitress and she was amazing. Decided without hesitation to take it back to be redone. The replacement came quickly and was damn good.
Very proud to have quality establishments in the Bay Area.

Went here a few weeks ago with some friends. Pub was relatively busy, but a reasonable wait time for food. My friend and I both had issues with our meals, and spoke to wait staff about it. All the staff were apologetic about meal quality, and gave us a replacement meal. When we went to pick up the new meal, the manager came out and was very apologetic and gave us both a drink voucher. Very happy with the service!

Location, atmosphere, drinks and service were all 5 stars. It's unfortunate the food was extremely average. I had the fish & chips - both the chips and fish were cold, daughter had kids chicken schnitzel that she couldn't finish because the schnitzel was so cold and hard. We went on NRL grand final night so I understand they were probably super busy and am willing to try again hopefully to have nicer food! :)

A great local place to for food and drinks. This place is huge! There is 2 different menus of food as it has different kitchens. Cocktails are amazing. Staff are super friendly. We ate at the Pavilion Bar and Bistro in a barn like restaurant and it had a fantastic vibe in there. A great place to visit

We eat here alot and have seen the place change over 15yrs! Very quiet in the bay and the food on Sunday was not up to the normal standard but it was a special with a drink...nevertheless. We went back a few days later for our favourite pizzas and these were great.

It's come a long way from the dated pub on the hill in the 90's, though I love that the sports bar still had that old pub vibe, and the pool table was fun. I recently spent a couple days in Husky and tried a few of the meals. The food quality had some hits and some misses. Ribs were great, but very small for a $39 price tag, the slaw wasn't great, kids meals great portions. Delicious chips. The calamari was a little chewy and stringy, but was excellent in the Pavilion. The pub food was probably more 2-3 stars.. But the staff were great, the location and view excellent.
The food in the Pavilion was actually significantly better and worth the slightly higher price tag! The steak was well rested and tasted amazing, octopus was fantastic. Grilled prawns were tasty. I would have liked to have tried one of their cocktails, but they stopped serving those at 8.30pm on a Friday night, so we missed out. Superb pub in Huskisson, it can get really busy during school holidays so best to book a table during these times.

Where do I start? If you're a vegetarian don't walk into the place. There was chicken in my vegan burger. I spoke to the manager and he simply said we cook it in the same deep fryer. Apparently that's the go. Not ideal. A no go if you ask me.

Great location and beautiful venue. Loved the trivia and beers were good. However the food wait was over an hour and the steak was over done, dry and almost cold. The salad was so wilted that it looked like it was 2 days old and only had lettuce and a couple pieces of carrot. Would come back for beers but definitely not for food.

A nice place for dinner or lunch. Everything is decently priced, burger was good, pizza okay. Kind of disappointing we had to sit very close to the entrance in what felt like a hallway, and therefore couldn't enjoy the view at all or the live music and atmosphere.

My review is based on the food alone because the views are breathtaking but if you feel like some pizza youre better off buying a frozen one and leaving it out on a 40 day than ordering one here. The steak was alright but the chef really needs to learn about basic seasoning. Great bar, views and vibes tho

Husky Pub is in an ideal position with bay views. The staff are friendly and the food is exceptional. I had a steak that was the very tender and cooked as I requested (Compliments to the chef).
Very enjoyable, I will definitely be returning.

Nice live music. The food felt sort of average but still enjoyable. The spaghetti marinara was quite nice; something different compared to the typical fried meals.

The atmosphere was lovely which made up for the bland tasting food.We arrived at 6:30pm for dinner. Yes it was busy but to be told that they didnt have half the menu left besides chicken parmigiana and chicken schnitzel was a disappointment nor were they serving cocktails.

Great spot with cold beer and great food. Venue as able to accommodate 8 of us without a booking which was great - thankyou. Ordered our food and didn't have to wait long even on a public holiday. Recommend popping in here after a whale watching cruise.
