Pretty average place, stunk like cigarettes from the minute we walked in, sticky floors, the fence around the play equipment for the kids is dangerous, I ordered a steak medium cooked with Diane sauce but when it came out to the table it was like a lump of charcoal and well overcooked, my wife ordered a schnitzel which after half an hour from receiving my well done footy boot she went up to the waitress and politely asked if they had forgotten about it they proceeded to say that it'll be ready in 10 minutes. Won't be rushing back or recommending to anyone in the near future.

We used to really love hotel Elermore but until today-

I booked the table for 22 ppl for tonight few days ago, show up tonight and I couldn't find my table. I told them I've made the booking via phone call and even show them the proof. I have no clue what's wrong with the guy who answered my call, I even double checked my booking with him and apparently he didn't write it down!!!! Should I be glad there were still some tables left for all of us or ??
And if you guys already know there will be band playing inside the pub, why gave us the table literally next to the band? It was really really loud.

I'm and still very disappointed about the service.

Two stars are for the chef, bartender and the lady who was helping us.

Be warned - this place is maximum video, sports, gambling and advertising. Gigantic televisions - I mean massive, twenty-foot wide screens, at least two of them that big. I've never seen screens that big in a bar before. And all the TVs showing sports, racing and advertising. Bad rock music piped in from decades ago. Quite a good kids playground though. No disrespect to the staff or management who work here, they were all great as far as I could tell. I don't know what I was expecting but it's hard to relax when you're being bombarded with video and ads.

My wife and I went twice in two days. We went there for lunch on a Saturday and for the raffle and band on the Sunday. My wife had a Salt and pepper squid, I ordered the flathead fillets with chips and Salad and we shared the mushroom dumplings. The dumplings and the squid came out within five minutes, the flathead fillets within about 15 minutes. The service time was good, Given that there was about 40 people in the Bistro. The price tag was nearly $60 without drinks. Food quality was fresh enough But the price tag was a bit much. No innovation as far as a pub menu goes.
Then on Sunday, we turned up for the raffle. The band was excellent, but just a little bit loud to the point where I couldn't order a drink. I would go and see this band play again, either there or somewhere else, But just a little too loud for Sunday afternoon/evening.
The in cleanliness is good enough And I would give it a 3.7 5 out of 5, only because of the cost of food and drinks

Nicely refurbished bar and restaurant with a flash [---] room. Great, Big-Screen for watching Sports and the races. TAB Facilities close bye. Family atmosphere, kids welcome. Will definitely be back.

This is a really nice pub. Modern, great selection of beers, good food, friendly staff and great for the punter. Clean and tidy. Good times.

I love the pub in general. Good for the kids and great atmosphere and the outdoor big screen is great. However I feel the bistro needs some serious changes made. I ordered a $38 steak yesterday and asked for it to be cooked RARE!! But it came out practically cremated. I could barely even chew it and it had 0 flavour. I let the bistro staff know and I didn't even get an apology. I only ate half of it because it was genuinely so bad. I would have taken it straight back if we hadn't just waited 40 minutes for food

Lovely pub with modern decor.
I love how the seating area was spaced out and not super close together.
Food wise, it was ok - not the best I've ever had but pretty standard for a pub feed.
One small thing to complain about was when asking the server for some table water she told me to go to the bar and ask for it instead of bring it to our table. Nothing major but small gestures like that would make the experience even better.

I've been a few times.. the food is always tasty. I had the garlic creamy schnitzel topper and was impressed. I love a good pub meal. The garlic wasn't too strong or bland it was just perfect!! The service is amazing. I had my child with me and the waitress was really lovely towards her getting her colouring in and a Band-Aid when she asked for one. Will be back to try more of the menu because theirs some tasty sounding dishes on there!

Food is pretty good. Staff are great. Music is deafening though

I'm sitting here currently, trying to enjoy a nice Sunday lunch with my family that I only get to see once a year and I can't hear myself think. The noise is absolutely insane. No need to crank it that bloody loud.
Watched a whole table walk out 2 minutes after the music started because it's so loud

Great food & amazing staff. Nick went above & beyond to sing happy birthday to one of our guests which made our night! The environment is unreal, staff are always super friendly & the live music is always really good as well.

Came here for dinner without a reservation with my partner. Ordered at the table via the app.
Took 6 minutes from the time we ordered til our meals arrived.
Service staff were very prompt and helpful. Both our meals were hot, fresh and tasty. A great experience overall.

The staff are very friendly and approachable, they brought my little girls activity bags as soon as we sat down which they loved! Play area is a heaven send for us parents. Awesome large screens for the sport and the place is very clean and tidy!

Nice venue and great staff. Found it a bit too noisy to talk without yelling on a friday night. Food was mostly good as commented by our group of seven. I made this review to mention the exception to this a $34 rump steak that was ordered medium done. It came out beyond well done and was tough as old boots !

Brought my friend here for lunch to celebrate her birthday and the food was on point, the children's play area could've been maintained better but nonetheless my toddler loved it. Would definitely go back for brunch one day.

Food only average but fantastic staff. Vegetables were raw even though we asked especially to make sure they were cooked. Very noisy dining experience and our table needed maintenance but staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful.

What a terrific hotel. A great layout, fantastic young staff and really good food at reasonable prices. Will definitely come back. It's the complete package and a credit to management.

Disappointing Food
Have tried here multiple times now as it has the kids play area but unfortunately the food just isn't worth it. Party of 10 and 3 people left their burrito bowls mostly untouched after trying them (extremely dry meat). The vegan options lack any effort or imagination & no real willingness from the kitchen to try cater to vegan needs. disappointing yet again.

Totally enjoyed the experience of the venue, it's very clean and appears to have gone through a renovation some time ago. The food tasted great menu was extensive but $24 for a basic chicken schnitzel & chips is just above market pricing, there was nothing special to make the dish stand out from another local pub feed, bruschetta bread was more crunchier than a biscuit.

Went down to watch state of origin on their amazing big screen. The hotel was super busy but so we'll staffed who were not only fast with orders but also super friendly and helpful. Food was great the final footy score was not ?

Visited for a Monday evening meal with a group of friends. Upon hearing there had been recent renovations, I was keen to see the place. It was fantastic. The decor is definitely on the higher end, yet it still has a nice welcoming atmosphere.

I ordered your standard pub burger. It was really nice. Presented on a wooden chopping board so you know it's fancy. They have a great selection of draught beers.

Food came fairly quickly, although it wasn't busy at all so the efficient service was expected.

The only gripe I have (and this is purely from a 'im English and my standards are high' perspective) is the server started clearing plates from the table before everyone was finished eating. Maybe it's a cultural thing but that's not what I expect. It wasn't a big deal so my rating is staying at a 5.

Will definitely be going back.

Friday Night super busy I think they need more people when ordering food. No social distancing everyone lines up like Sardines a mile long. The food was nice and I was impressed with the renovations

Food is always below average, the drinks are quite pricey considering there isn't a great variety and the staff is always changing. Would love to see better quality food, more drink varieties and more specials. The old locals really make it a vibe

They have really done well in making this place more appealling to all walks of life. Large open bar area with plenty of seating. Separate sports/tab area with all the screens for punters. Indoor/outdoor dining available with heaters outside for the cooler weather. The restaurant menu has also improved and offers meals above the standard pub fare

Bit too fancy for themselves. Ordered early as to celebrate a birthday and not take too much time off work. Steak was ordered medium rare n was burnt n very well done. They wanted to cook another one but took way too long one person left there hungry. We asked for a refund and it was like pulling teeth, eventually got a refund but no apology for the inconvenience. Not going back.

Excellent restaurant.. we had a party of 14 and every dish was awesome... from schnitzel, barramundi, seafood linguine, pork belly, oysters to seafood dishes... we all were more than happy with the quality and service ... I'd give higher rating than 5 stars if I could ?.

The main meal food was good but not great (burger and pasta). The garlic bread for entree was tasty and there is an excellent play area for kids, but overall, although it was good to go here once, we wouldn't go here again for food.

Lots of oldies here though, so seems a good spot for the local oldies to catch up with their friends.

Lovely food and friendly staff. The children's playground is also great! The only downside was the meals came out in quite random order despite us having ordered at similar times. The smoking area is also open to the outdoor seating area which means smoke filters through quite heavily to those seated outside. Despite this though, it was a nice evening.

Ordered salt and pepper squid and was asked if I wanted it as a main to come out with my companions roast of the day special. I said yes BUT it came out quickly and the roast was another 20 minutes at least. I was not happy and when I said I was disappointed they hadn't come out together the only response was a shrug.

The recent makeover of this venue has turned out great - there is plenty of tables, food is excellent, and prices are perfect for what you get. Nice play area for the kids, although unfortunately away from the tables, so you can't see them from where you're seated. Loved the appearance, staff were friendly, food was quick to arrive. We'll be back again!

The newly refurbished hotel is very good. Has great facilities. Food is reasonably priced with a good variety to choose from. Good play area for the little ones.

Busy little place on a Friday night, no menus available on arrival and what appeared to be the head waitress was very rude when asked about menus and unfortunately she wasn't the only rude waitress in the restaurant tonight.Garlic bread was inedible due to having been cremated.Mains were lovely and the parmigiana was perfect (5 stars to the chef for the mains).1 star for the cold beer and 2 stars for the good mains = 3 stars out of 5 stars.
