My wife and I went twice in two days. We went there for lunch on a Saturday and for the raffle and band on the Sunday. My wife had a Salt and pepper squid, I ordered the flathead fillets with chips and Salad and we shared the mushroom dumplings. The dumplings and the squid came out within five minutes, the flathead fillets within about 15 minutes. The service time was good, Given that there was about 40 people in the Bistro. The price tag was nearly $60 without drinks. Food quality was fresh enough But the price tag was a bit much. No innovation as far as a pub menu goes.
Then on Sunday, we turned up for the raffle. The band was excellent, but just a little bit loud to the point where I couldn't order a drink. I would go and see this band play again, either there or somewhere else, But just a little too loud for Sunday afternoon/evening.
The in cleanliness is good enough And I would give it a 3.7 5 out of 5, only because of the cost of food and drinks
