Located across from the Hilton at one end of Mitchel Street this place has the feel of a traditional pub with the friendly service you would expect. I enjoyed an early lunch and appreciated the relaxed atmosphere. The special on Tuesdays is wings. Not as meaty as some I've had but the presentation and coating made them a solid 9 out of 10. They have inside and outside seating areas

Ok. Great pub. Great staff. bar staff very friendly and quick efficient service. Ordered the Meat Deluxe pizza takeaway. It was "OK." It wasn't good. It was ok. More so "just." Why? Because there wasn't much on it .
As I said the staff are great but I have to be honest. I counted three small pieces of pepperoni, maybe four bits of red onion and the pulled pork was....pork fat pieces...chicken was processed and I didn't actually find bacon on it.
The pizza was salty, very salty. Of the eight slices I ate three...
Put the rest in the bin.
There's good mark up on a $28 pizza so not sure why you could get this wrong.
Again. Staff were great. Pizza ....average.

Tuesday wing night at hotel Darwin is my weekly go-to when I'm in town for work.

The wings come out super hot (temperature) and properly spicy. I always go with the hot buffalo over BBQ - great flavor, solid heat, and consistently cooked well. Not "psycho hot" like I personally enjoy, but genuinely tasty and hits the spot every time.

The wings are massive - easily some of the biggest I've been served - and at around $22 AUD for a full kilo, it's solid value as well.

For someone who eats a lot of wings and likes real heat, this is a bit of a diamond in the rough. It's become my Tuesday night staple while I'm in Darwin.

Thinking about giving rib night a shot next.

24 years since i was last here. Not too bad. The wednesday special was the rack of ribs for$22. Size was good about 400g including bones maybe a little more. Meat was tender and falling off the bone, 1 dry bit but the BBQ sauce did mask it well. Not a BBQ sauce fan but i knew what i was asking for when i ordered it, nice and tangy, could have had a bit more on the side. taste was pretty good all in all, chip and salad portion as per any normal meal anywhere. price great. Normally double that. Give a 7/10. Issue is you need to download the \'loaded rewards\' app to get at that price. For me not an issue but as a visitor here for a few days i won\'t benefit from the rewards. Barman was chatty and friendly and a few people in the venue. Yep I\'ll be back again. Try it out for the specials.

Our team had lunch at hotel Darwin, which is conveniently close to our office. The space is clean and spacious, offering daily specials with great quality and generous portions. The staff is friendly and supportive. You can choose between indoor and outdoor seating. A great spot to visit in Darwin!

Recommendation: Try the chicken and steak.
