Excellent clean rooms. Staff members were friendly and helpful and nothing was ever a problem when providing assistance to guests.

Went to the hotel for a few nights for sport and it was very good. The location was perfect and we only had to drive a max of 10 minutes to get anywhere we needed. Aldi was only a 2 minute walk down the road. The breakfast supplied was unbelievable. The yogurt and granola with a muffin was the go to! Fresh fruit like delicious watermelon was served.The Pub was connected to the hotel and the food was nice. The service was great and when I asked for more sour cream they got it straight away. The rooms were very clean and spacious they even had a lounge and tv which was handy for the footy. The showers were lovely and there was even a bath. The rooms had air conditioning and heating.

Note: there is an indoor pool which looked very nice and clean would be lovely in summer and being out of the heat.

The Boomerang hotel was an exceptional experience, the rooms were wide and spacious, Very quiet at night. Incredible service and splendid breakfast. Great value for money.

Quiet, comfy rooms. Older building but serviceable. Beds are wonderful. Decent continental breakfast in dining room included in a modest priced room tariff.
Bistro at hotel adjacent to rooms or you can order room service.
Good meals. Fast, friendly service.
Not much noise despite location. Easy access to freely if travelling. Other shops close by.
The rooms are on 2 levels so be aware if you have mobility issues around stairs.
Not sure if they have rooms to cater for wheelchairs but the pub side of things is fully accessible.

A really great hotel, with fantastic food and accommodation in Albury.

The pub is great, and the dining area is huge... as is the menu which is really well priced.

The dining area is family friendly, and designed as a family centre.

In addition, it has a huge accommodation section. Okay, the rooms are mid 1970s built, but they have been refurbished and are seriously clean.

Not only that, the mattresses are super comfortable.

The rooms feature a very quiet split system for heating and cooling.

A continental breakfast is included in the tariff, and the large venue has a dedicated breakfast dining room.

Parking is on or off street, and the car park is big.

Wheelchair access is easy to all sections of the complex, but as the accom is two storey, book ahead to secure a ground floor room.

The only downside we noted? The water temp for the showers varied from extremely hot to cold, and the TV stayed in "shop demo" mode.

That aside, its somewhere we would stay again.

This is one of the best 3 star motels we've stayed at. The beds were super comfy and rooms very clean and crisp. I'm not a fan of shower curtains, and there wasn't enough shampoo and conditioner. The included breakfast was great, especially as a family of 6.
I would definitely recommend this place.

Boomerang is a great place to stay. Easy check in with lovey people to great you. Room was spotless, possibly the cleanest motel bathroom I've seen. Would definitely stay here again.

Definitely a hidden gem here. While travelling, we tended to stick to motels over hotels, but we are super glad we didn't stick to that here in Lavington/Albury. The young lady I spoke to over the phone, then in person, was amazing! She was super helpful (especially to aid my very broken mother), and I honestly felt like I was chatting with a bestie. Super personable. She helped me ensure we had a very accessible room with directly outside the door parking. The rooms were very clean and tidy...very. Comfy beds. Nice artwork. Affordable room prices. We found out after-the-fact that a friend of ours had stayed there multiple times and planned to again whenever she was in Albury for work. Our entire trip consisted of 7 motels/hotel and this one was the best. Who needs a microwave and toaster when the coffee station (with cute kettle) is so fully stocked with good brands, and they supply free breakfast and affordable lunch and dinner that can be delivered to your room. Yet since I had said we'd be gone before the big continental breakfast in the bistro was served (we left before dawn), we were each given a "breakfast box". Cereal, breakfast bar, milk, juice, spoon. Cute and a lovely extra that was brought over to our room. Would very happily stay here again!

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Having a bistro on site was excellent. Variety of menu meals and service very good. The only downside was that the pool was closed for maintenance.

It was the first time we have visited Albury as a family and chose to stay at boomerang Hotel, it was amazing! It was so conveniently situated close to the shopping centre. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was amazing. It also had a children's room which was perfect especially for my partner who enjoyed watching the footy and having a beer whilst right out the front of the children's room, our actual hotel room was quite spacious, which also included to our surprise, a bath, which my daughter loved, and also having the indoor heated pool, which she lived for! The staff was equally amazing to the hotel so much, so we have decided to visit Aubrey again and stay at the boomerang Hotel. Thank you so much!

The room, location, and amenities were everything I expected and more

Stayed here overnight on my drive from Sydney. The staff were super friendly and speedy with service, the rooms were super clean and well stocked with amenities. The only con to my stay was the water temperature in the shower. It seems it's a bit temperamental maybe when lots of people are using it. Despite that i still really enjoyed my stay!

I stayed here for one night as I was just passing through. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom had everything I needed. It was clean and the bed comfortable. Convenient lock box too as I checked out super early.
Would stay again.

It has very nice pub food. There are definitely good cooks in the kitchen. The fish and chips, chicken, pork sweet and sour, and chicken wrap were delicious. Although, i felt a bit rushed while ordering which took away from the experience but it was busy to be fair. A big place with lots of seating but the staff are fast, friendly, and professional.

I went to there to get a coffee. They make amazing coffee. I had soy Cappuccino and it was so good that i went three consecutive days to get my coffee from them despite the long drive.
The staff are very warm and lovely as well.
Highly recommend for coffee and eating.

Stuffy bedroom, lights that are positioned to shine directly into the room, toilet did not flush with enough water to clear stools. The spa at the pool does not work, and the sauna has been decommissioned.

The staff were polite and the continental breakfast was timely and decent and the place was clean.

Good hotel. Because we had to depart earlier and will miss breakfast time, the hotel had kindly offered to prepare breakfast ahead of time and left them in the room for us. Very thoughtful.

A pleasant surprise during our stay at the Boomerang hotel for a weekend event. The attached Bistro served great food and cocktails. A great place for parties or quiet catch-ups.
Loved the atmosphere and ambience; enjoyed the amazing lemon butter grilled salmon.
Invited my close friends to have dinner with us at "our" hotel and they loved it!

Being from out of town its hard to find a good counter meal sometimes but the crew at the Boomerang Hotel nailed it tonight.
Although the bistro was booked out the extremely friendly staff found us a table in the bar and helped with the QR ordering system.
Food was magnificent and beer was nice and cold.
Will definitely come back next time we are up this way 10/10

Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean and adequate with lots of PowerPoints. But heating/air conditioning noise kept us awake. We turned ours off and still next doors kept us awake. I think some of the rooms have quiet split systems though

Food was lovely, staff accommodating. Stayed over night too. The room was large and clean. Bed was a little soft for me and the pillow was too hard. But it was a good night's sleep. Surprised that a continental breakfast was included in the room price.

For the price we had everything we needed for the night, the bed was comfortable, there was even a kettle and tea and coffee and milk in the fridge to use. The breakfast was a nice added bonus and included toast, muffins, lots of spreads, fresh fruit, mini sweet muffins, cereal and yogurt so was all you really needed and there was a menu to buy egg and bacon too if you wanted. We didn't watch much TV but we're surprised by how many channels were available. The staff were very nice and check-in was easy even though we didn't get there until after 7pm, we had a car park spot right outside our room and had dinner at the bistro which was nice also.

We ate here on 2 separate occasions either side of Christmas. The meals are great value, good size, fresh and tasted amazing. The service, especially from Jess, was first class. Polite, courteous and professional.

I can't wait to visit again!

The hotel room was spacious, tidy and the beds were comfortable. A lot of hotels have very firm mattresses, but the Boomerang Hotel has noticeably softer and more comfortable beds.

Service was perfect.

Friendly and welcoming staff with exceptional service and ones that go out of their way to make any adjustments needed for us. Chefs also catered to our dietary requirements (vegetarian) and provided excellent food including their Alfredo pasta and tomato pasta as well as their veggie stackers. Would definitely visit again and recommend others to come here too.

Chose to stay here after long drive from Newcastle. New resident to Thurgoona. Room was clean and functional. No bells or whistles but CLEAN. Bed was comfy and had a good rest. Ate at the bistro for Tea and was delighted by the meal. Returned on Friday for another feed as unpacking is going slow. Staff ate really very pleasant and helpful. Good pub for a drink, meal or stop over.

Loved this hotel. The food was great and the grandsons loved both their food and the free video games. We went for lunch and spent 4 hours there. Recommended the hotel highly

Convenient & ample parking space! Food menu has great choices! Love their beef steak sandwich in Turkish bread esp the spread which perfectly gave the salad and meat a moist and great tangy taste! Yum!

The pulled pork burger on the specials board at the moment is the most delicious burger I've ever had at the boomerang hotel. Also the head chef DJ is the most polite and friendly person. Well done !

The Bistro staff are always friendly offering excellent service. Our party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed each & every meal, all served up fast & cooked to perfection. We have been going to the Booma regularly now for some time & are happy to say it's our preferred choice for a great night out. Thanks for going above & beyond every single time!

Fantastic Hotel, stayed for one night for a business trip. Can't fault the place; friendly staff, delicious meals, cheap cold beer & comfy beds.

Great for the price

Decent place for a night stay
The reception was open till late, so we were able to do a late check-in which was good. The room was adequately furnished, without many bells and whistles. The bathroom was functional. For the price I paid for the room, I don't have many complaints about it. It was a decent place to stopover for a night.

Missed having a toaster/microwave & some cutlery in the room. The bathroom tap in our room needs to be fixed, as it is too noisy every time it is used. The window AC didn't have a remote, so we had to get up in the middle of the night to make adjustments to the temperature.

Quaint, reasonable motel. Bistro is outstanding though. Head chef Max really knows what he's doing, and although food does take awhile to come out, quality is excellent. You can really tell they put effort and pride in their dishes. Chicken and ribs were done IMPECCABLY, with VERY substantial portion sizes. Drove 7 hours from Sydney, and it felt like I was being greeted by a home cooked meal. Hope this place continues to do well!

Reception staff excellent in locating best accommodation for being a disabled person arriving at 10pm.Room was better than sum 4-5 star hotels proving top shelf isn't always th best.Thank you Boomerang!

Staff are friendly and service is the best. There is a discount at the bistro if you are staying. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities. Asked about breakfast at the bistro and they brought us little breakfast packs, because of COVID. They are adorable and convenient. Couldn't recommend this hotel any more!

We all loved our meals. The roasts were real roasts. Baked potatoes, pumpkin etc. Other pubs advertise roasts then serve up boiled vegies. I had scotch fillet and it was really tender. Fully recommend this hotel

Hi, We checked in today but there was power outage soon after without any expected time for restoration.When we spoke to a lady she said it's okay to go to some other hotel and they will provide us full refund.When we booked another hotel and went back to return the keys, other lady said sorry we can't give you a refund... I already paid for the next place and getting mixed answers from Boomerang staff.When I asked first lady, she lied that I never said so... It's quite a disappointing experience.I know they don't power under their control but they didn't give any updates, i don't care attitude and then above harassment.Additionally the rooms felt unlean, old carpets, beds were quite old... The pictures were much better than in real. Not saying this because of our above experience but didn't feel good with the room when we entered first as well.

Nice location and lot of car parking space. The staffs were friendly. Room and bathroom were large and clean. They provided the continental breakfast and it was good.The flush was not working properly, however the maintenance guy temporarily fixed it.
