I'll start with it was clean and the bed was comfy. We knew we had to share bathrooms. The room was really small. No tissues, no face washer, no bath mat, no hair dryer. Rooms were not serviced. We had to let staff know when there was no toilet paper. The common room which was for everyone was neat and clean, but had to let staff know twice that there was no cups or water. We ended up finding the towels so we could change them. There was no smoking in rooms or bathrooms but we were very often smelling cigarettes as we went to the toilet, this was not staff's fault as they put a sign on the door but this did not stop them. We would not stop here again.

Great location with amazingly friendly bar staff, food is good and the beers are just as nice. Kudos to Gary the owner and his management staff.
Tuesday night trivia with the host Laurence are an absolute baller of a night and it makes my week feel complete.
And if you're there for the pokies or the sports screens they're top notch too

Worst customer service by pub.

Especially the one who cleaned table. We took aioli sauce paying $3 which was too sweet. We couldn't eat it. We asked to replace it with other sauce but they asked me to pay another $3 which is not fair.

I used to come regularly here. I will never come again.

This pub spoiled my mood.

Staffs are very polite and friendly and the venue is so clean, security guy he's very kind and friendly.

The only thing that I dislike was the steak, bit too expensive but does not worth it so other than that service is the best in the area ?????????

Can't say too much about the accommodation as I've not stayed there but when working nearby on railway business the food is top notch. Never an issue to look after our needs, fast and efficient food and beverage service.

Very nice place. Super friendly staff. They always smile to the customers. I got great recommendations for beers and cocktails. We tries the Newland house beer for only $7 for a schooner, a schooner of Guiness for $9, a Fairy Floss Martini and a Spiced Magarita woth $20/ea. All of them were very nice and the design of this bar is also outstanding. Love the cozy and vintage design where I cannot find very commonly in other bars. Love to come back.

Came all the way from Brisbane to try this place, and very disappointed and treated rudely.
No parking spaces, staff were very rude and had to make a back handed comment when asked for extra sauce after paying $5 extra for a topper of boscaiola and only got two pieces of mushrooms and one piece of diced bacon, very rude will not be returning so sad.

Nicely renovated whilst keeping the retro designs. Staff are friendly and the food options are plentiful. Guinness on tap too :)

We visit here from Concord West. It's a nice local pub with a nice outdoor terrace and has a friendly atmosphere to hang out with friends and family if you don't want to head out to the city. It's pretty much the only nice place to visit along this dilapidated part of Parramatta Road. It would be nice if there's some bicycle parking.

The trivia here is fun and well organised. The food is average and the service is embarrassing. Nobody looks like they know what they are doing or even care. Every time our group comes here for trivia, at least one meal is forgotten about. I waited 50 mins for my burger after having to ask them 3 times about it. I was compensated by not being charged for the Mayo on the side.

I enjoyed a great meal there for lunch today, I must say the atmosphere is great and the place is clean and the staff are friendly,

Stopped in for a few drinks while killing time great venue was quiet at 3pm on a weekday.. great service with friendly staff

Lunchtime menu on my three visits has all been great. Fried chicken burger was sensational

It is very disappointing and felt very bad after what we are gone through whenever we came to this tab because on day We took cocktails worth $20 each and we took more than 6 cocktails and we just asked it didn't taste as good as last cocktails and nothing else was mentioned . they are point us everytime we came back to have drinks with friends and pointing finger on us whenever we come to this tab, disgraceful and felt like they are pointing us as if we are threat to them . We dnt feel safe to come to this disrespectful tab and we would like to raise the point we are well educated and know how to behave in public and we learn moral value how to treat people . I think people who are working not everyone but should know how to respect your customers

Nice neighbourhood pub, food is decent, good selection of drinks. Plenty of tables to eat at. Parking in the rear lane. Just wish they did a Sunday roast like some of the other pubs in the Laundy stable!

Dropped in for a bite to eat after a Kings game. My partner and I both had the Botanical Burger (vegetarian). It was absolutely delicious, one of the best burgers I have had. Highly recommend and will be back. The chips were also fresh, hot and delicious and the service was quick. A nice hotel, bit of a hidden gem!

Hello ; iam regular customer to this hotel ; with my friends ; we order chicken wings but we not happy with spicy sauce (single sauce ) they provide half spicy sauce single

Not suitable for large numbers, staff and cook not trained to handle over 10 guests booking. Ok for single plate orders. Advise not to book functions at this place. Very poor service

We do a regular catch up with friends here as it's midway between all our places and we always enjoy it. Great food. Good TAB and great layout.

Bistro staff have changed, my steak was well below par and my friend's meal which was way off only came out once I'd finished mine.....afterwards we sat quietly on a pokie for our second drink before we left (still content as we've always enjoyed the food prior and hospitality from all the staff) but were told we couldn't sit together tonight by security, they limit 1 seat to a machine.
Felt unwelcome and unappreciated after 20 years of being a sporadic patron....I'll never set foot I the place again.
Guard must have flunked his police entrance exam ????

So glad I discovered this hidden gem! It is super dog friendly, the service is quick, staff are nice and helpful, and the food is great (ordered steak and spaghetti bolognese). We hang out at the beer garden and the ambience is good both inside and outdoor.

Haven't been there for a long time. The servings USED TO BE huge and cheap.

Went there again with friends. We had meatloaf and chicken schnitzel. The main serving size were so small for all 4 meals and more expensive. We all went home and had more food to eat.

A rip off.

I suggest they do something about size.

Friendly & pleasant bar staff. Great pub meals. They have large multi-screen TV'S both indoors & in their beer garden.

We brought our 3 kids for a few nights stay. The pub is great- family friendly, good food and service. We stayed in the family room that was well priced, clean but small for a family room. No bar fridge, kettle or bathroom in the room but there is a shared bathroom, laundry and guest room that are in excellent condition. Car parking is challenging and hard to come by. Our only real issue is the bedroom doors are frosted glass and the hallway light (which is on a sensor) shines in the room ALL NIGHT! An interrupted sleep for 2 nights....

So clean and tidy. Modern furnishings. Very comfy bed. Staff were so incredibly helpful. 10/10 will stay again

Lovely place. Outdoor seating area gives feeling of deep into nature. Sipping Australian Pale Ale and betting on your choice whilst sitting in [---] room is a worth experience

Always been the local watering hole for me, great prices and the old place has been renovated and looks very nice now. Great beer garden and nice food as well as friendly staff.
