I attended an end-of-project luncheon with colleagues at the GH Hotel and wanted to share my feedback as below:

The recently renovated hotel boasts a wonderful atmosphere.

The staff was attentive and friendly, providing warm smiles throughout the experience.

Despite the warm service, the drinks were refreshingly ice-cold.

I ordered a rare Rump steak ?, expecting it to be slightly overcooked to medium rare. However, to my delight, the steak was perfectly cooked to rare as requested.

I also tried the garlic prawns on the side, which were fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to al dente - definitely a must-try!

The mashed potatoes were satisfyingly large in portion size but could have been fluffier and more buttery.

Overall, I'd rate the experience 8.9/10 and would definitely return!

Above average pub food. Better than most!

Steaks are generally quite good. Have not had a bad experience so far!

Plenty of room for large groups (pre booking recommended), place was very busy. Large serves of hot food. In my opinion just a little too much salad dressing on some dishes and weird Gravy taste. Noise volume made it difficult to converse, maybe some acoustic treatment would help?? Staff were friendly and helpful. Fenced playground available for children.

Great place, we've always been happy with the food and quick table service. Was even happier to find they had upgraded thier outdoor kids playground and it absolutely awesome. Nice one!

Ambiance was great and staff were very friendly. Food was cheap and delicious. Better reserve a seat before going as place is packed. There is also a play area for kids.

Had a farewell dinner here for a friend. I live in South Sydney so wasn't sure what to expect. The food we ordered was great, maybe a bit pricey, but was very nice, easy to order drinks and food from the QR codes on the table, was a busy Saturday night, with ordering food the turn around time was fast. Had a band playing, on the bar side of the pub which was good and added to the atmosphere. The pub is well set up with different eating and drinking areas. The staff were also great. Would defs recommend for a great feed and good night out.

Held hubbys birthday party here. Food was good and the service was professional. The live band and atmosphere were great. Minus 1 star for the salmon dish
that we ordered and paid for but was not served.

Food is well over priced for what it is. Salt and pepper squid is a frozen packaged product. You can get the same kind of food in most gaming rooms across South Western Sydney for free. Chicken wings were dry and over cooked, probably packaged as well. Table remained uncleared for far too long and had to flag staff down to clear stuff away. Lights out in bathrooms and toilet paper not in holders. Ordinary at best.

There for a kids birthday party. Setting outside under cover with play slides etc for the kids, this is a common area.
Food was good and staff on the ball.
Out of my way for regular visits but great for the locals.

A decent bar and bistro, the atmosphere and design is phenomenal but the food is sub par

There are loads of space and tables so expect easy seating with no waiting lines or bookings.
The place is well cozy and the atmosphere amazing, the old brickwork looks stunning.
Only issue is the lighting for the upper areas is poor and does not illuminate all tables
The food we ordered (for 20 people, it was a big order covering a lot of different meals) was sub par, the chips were a bit stale, the fish was over salted, the salads were drowning in dressing.
The bar is good, plenty of choices but if you're looking for heavier choices of alcohol like Long Island tea, you're out of luck because their liquor licence does not go that high.

All in all would not recommend/10 because of the poor food.

Visited for the second time with some family, its a very nice, comfortable large space, plenty of seating to suit needs. Outdoor seating is nice and peaceful, indoor is pleasant. Bottle store attached and a playground for the children. Good variety of beverages at the bar, quick and knowledgeable bar staff. Waiters and waitresses are very pleasant and fast workers.

Ordering made very easy with the QR system at the table, pictures are on point and accurate too.

When we ordered the food, it came out quite quickly considering how it was lunchtime on a Friday and it was quite busy. The food looked absolutely fantastic! But lacked in taste.

We ordered lamb pasta, bacon bbq cheese chips, a margerita pizza and a chicken burger with chips.

The lamb pasta had generous servings of lamb, the pasta bland but the parmesan helped. The pizza was soggy, oily and tasteless. The chicken burger was very nice, slightly better than average and the bacon bbq cheese chips had so much hype that I personally don't think it deserved.

The reason being that these 4 dishes cost almost $82 and didnt live up the expectation,

With that being said, id still recommend this place, but perhaps just for drinks and snacks.

The Brisket Burger is the best f*@king burger I've ever eaten in my life. The 9-Hour Beef Brisket was cooked to perfection. Cannot be beaten. Awesome atmosphere and watching the Adesanya V Whittaker fight in the bistro was fantastic. Excellent, attentive and friendly service with one of the best male Glassies I've ever seen. 100% will be back.

Food is good for a big commercial pub. Daily lunch specials are always good. Staff are friendly but don't expect to see the same faces on your next visit.

Great food love the fact that u can order from your table by scanning the QR code.

I came here on a Friday night.
It is quite popular and lively as it was hard to find parking and the place was quite full.

The music was very loud making it quite difficult to converse.

The food was good. The ability to order on your phone was a great idea but it can be prone to error if you're in a large group (my beef nachos came late). The fish tacos had a nice flavour and is good if you don't want to eat too much.

Food is AWESOME... the place is great to have lunch or dinner and even eat while the kids are playing...

What you'd expect at a hotel. Solid sports area and dining. Kids play area. Pokies and more
Only thing that could be better is food. Not the greatest pub food for its price but it's decent enough to enjoy it.

The food was good, service was great, had a great time... but the lights... omg they are horrible.. so dim I cant read the menu and gave me a headache trying to look at people to talk to them. I used to go here all the time but the lighting they have used now has put me completely off.

Lovely venue with great facilities and decor. Lady who greeted me on entry was welcoming, personable and helpful
Extensive menu including the usual favourites.
I used the tap/order/pay function, which was easy to use and food came out timely and correct.
I had the steak sandwich, which was generous and tasty although steak was a bit fatty.
Overall am enjoyable experience and will go back.

Been here many times and it's always busy. Wednesday night steak night for $15 is great value. Staff are really friendly and the place is always clean and tidy. If your in the area make sure to experience for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Great place... Nice decor pretty modern. Ordering food a breeze perfect app that you can use from your table. Food well presented and tasty!

Decent food. They were very busy for lunch but still managed to get meals out in a timely manner. Great play area for kids. Staff were flat out but still courteous.

The Gregory Hills Hotel hosted a 50th birthday celebration for my nephew on 11 April 2021. I congratulate the hotel and staff for the very professional service that they provided. The staff were super friendly and accommodating to our needs, they were efficient and nothing was a problem for them. They certainly put a great deal of effort to ensure we had a wonderful celebration. The food was good, prepared quickly. The venue is wheelchair friendly and has up to date facilities. I have no hesitation in recommending the Gregory Hills Hotel.

Still the best pub in the area. The food and service are too notch. Great kids okay area, plenty of parking. 3 recent meals here and cleared the whole place! Plenty of room inside!

Great place to enjoy a few drinks or a meal with friends. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, great layout. Good selection of tap beers. The meals are of a reasonable size and quality, and the prices are typical for pub style fair. If you are in the outdoor area, it can get quite noisy with the sound reverberating off the ceiling, so be prepared to yell in order to be heard.
